About the role:

Housing First changes what is possible for people who have been shut out, moved on and let down for too long.

Single Homeless Project's (SHP’s) Camden Housing First service is expanding, and we’re looking for a passionate and skilled worker to join an innovative team supporting people with long histories of rough sleeping, multiple exclusion and co-occurring needs. This includes a new and important focus on supporting couples who have been rough sleeping and will be accommodated separately in their own self-contained flats, while receiving intensive, relational and trauma-informed support.

Based from King’s Cross, you’ll work across the community and in people’s homes, carrying a small caseload so you can offer flexible, persistent and person-centred support that is shaped around each person’s strengths, safety, needs and goals. You’ll build trust with people who may have had difficult experiences of services, working at their pace while keeping a strong focus on housing sustainment, wellbeing, risk, choice and recovery.

You won’t be doing this work alone. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team and will work closely with statutory services, housing partners and specialist colleagues including health, psychology, Solace, occupational therapy and perpetrator support. With safety at the heart of the work, you’ll play a key role in supporting people where relationships, trauma, exploitation, abuse or external risk may be part of their lives. At SHP, you’ll also have access to learning, reflective practice and development opportunities that help you keep growing your skills while doing meaningful, complex and life-changing work.

About you:

• You have experience supporting people facing multiple disadvantage, including homelessness, trauma, mental ill health, substance use, contact with the criminal justice system or long-term exclusion from services.
• You know how to build trust with people who may be wary of services, using patience, consistency and creativity to keep people engaged without forcing change before they are ready.
• You understand the links between severe and multiple disadvantage, VAWG, coercion, abuse, exploitation and safety, and you can respond in a way that is trauma-informed, boundaried and safeguarding-focused.
• You are a confident advocate and communicator, able to work with partners, negotiate well, challenge when needed and keep the person’s voice at the centre.
• You are organised and self-sufficient in your day-to-day work, with the written, IT and recording skills needed to manage a caseload, update systems clearly and keep support plans moving.

About the role:

For someone who has spent years moving between the streets, temporary accommodation and services that have not worked for them, having a home of their own can be life changing. But getting the keys is only the beginning. As our Specialist Housing First Worker in Redbridge, you’ll provide the intensive, persistent and highly personalised support people need to make that home feel safe, sustainable and genuinely theirs.

Housing First does things differently. You’ll work alongside people who have experienced repeated homelessness and multiple disadvantage, including people who may be mistrustful of services or have found traditional approaches difficult to engage with. Rather than expecting people to change before they can access housing, you’ll start from the belief that everyone has a right to a home. You’ll build relationships over time, work creatively around barriers and use active engagement and harm reduction approaches to support people towards the goals that matter to them.

Your work will stretch across housing, health, benefits, safeguarding and wider support. You’ll help people prepare for and settle into their accommodation, navigate rent and benefits, manage risks and build greater independence within their community. Just as importantly, you’ll bring together the professionals around each person, advocate firmly when systems get in the way and keep looking for another route when the obvious one has failed. This is a role that calls for sound judgement, patience and real tenacity: knowing when to challenge, when to adapt and how to remain alongside someone through setbacks as well as progress.

You’ll be joining a team committed to delivering Housing First with integrity and giving practitioners the flexibility to respond to people as individuals. You’ll have opportunities to deepen your specialist knowledge, strengthen your partnership working and advocacy skills, and develop your practice through supervision, reflective learning and training.

The purpose of this role 

This is a new role, created as part of a restructuring of the GA's operational team. The Administrative Coordinator is the human face of the GA's operational work. This is a role for someone who is genuinely energised by working with people - warm, organised, and reliable - and who combines administrative excellence with the wish to maximise the potential of others.

You will provide the day-to-day administrative and coordination support that keeps the GA's work with congregations, ministers, and members running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for many people who engage with the GA, and your ability to connect - to listen, to follow through, and to make people feel empowered, inspired, and part of something that matters - will shape their experience of the organisation.

We think of this role as needing three things in equal measure: people skills, administrative excellence, and organisational ability. Plenty of people are strong on one or two. What you’ll be doing 

• Congregational and membership administration - Serve as a first point of contact for enquiries, maintain accurate membership records, and support engagement across our wider community.
• Congregational support toolkit - Coordinate the production and publication of guidance materials, and host online meetings connecting community members with subject matter experts.
• Ministry and congregational support - Maintain key registers and records, coordinate the annual commitment-to-pay process, and triage our inbox with care and good judgement.
• Events support - Provide coordination support for the Annual Meeting and other GA events, working alongside our freelance events manager on registration, logistics, and communications.

What core skills and experience you’ll have 

Essential: 

• Experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally in a charity, membership body, or similar organisation
• Experience working with volunteers, congregations, or membership communities — and an understanding of what sustains them
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to hold multiple threads without losing sight of the people behind them
• Warm, clear written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
• Confidence hosting and facilitating online meetings
• Confidence with databases and digital tools, and willingness to develop Salesforce skills

Desirable:

English for Action (EFA) is looking for a Partnerships Manager to grow the funding that powers our free, participatory ESOL classes for around 400 migrants across London. Our classes don't just teach English, they build the confidence and collective power people need to organise around housing and employment rights.

About the role

Working closely with our Fundraising Lead, you'll take real ownership of relationships with trusts, foundations and corporate funders, while helping shape how we diversify our income going forward. This is a role with genuine scope to bring your own ideas and see them through, not just execute someone else's plan.

You will:
- Write compelling grant applications, funding proposals and reports that win and retain funding
- Research and build a realistic pipeline of trusts, liveries and corporate foundations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing donors and prospects
- Contribute to EFA's fundraising strategy, including newer income streams such as statutory, corporate, individual giving, membership and events
- Liaise with our Executive Team, Hub Leads and Project Managers so funding proposals stay grounded in what's actually happening in our classrooms and communities

About you

You don't need a degree, and you're not expected to tick every box, nobody does. We're looking for someone with a track record of successful grant writing, strong research and relationship-building skills, and the organisation to manage multiple funding deadlines at once. Knowledge of the UK charity sector and UK trusts and foundations is essential; experience with public sector or EU education funding is a bonus.

English for Action provides free, participatory, empowering ESOL classes for migrants in London, spaces where students build community and organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. Role 

Bowel Research UK are looking for a manager with experience across either philanthropy, corporate partnerships or both to join their Fundraising team in a new role.

This role will lead and manage the corporate and philanthropy income streams, building on existing successes, spotting opportunities to engage new partners and donors, and nurture green shoots. 

This role, with support from the Head of Fundraising and Communications, will develop, embed and lead the corporate and philanthropy strategy. As such, Bowel Research UK needs an experienced corporate and/or philanthropy fundraiser with well-developed relationship management skills. Someone who is excited by the opportunity of shaping, developing and elevating these important supporters for the charity.

This role will manage two direct reports across community fundraising, challenge events, supporter care and data. Experience managing staff or volunteers would be helpful, but Bowel Research UK are open to applications from candidates for whom this would be a development area.

Equally, Bowel Research UK are open to applications from those looking to develop their expertise and will be fully supported, should they not have equal experience in corporate partnerships and philanthropy. Based at Oasis Community Hub MediaCityUK, you will lead our youth work provision, delivering mentoring, youth clubs, holiday activities and detached youth work within local communities. You will play a key role in supporting young people aged 10 to 16 to overcome barriers, raise aspirations and access positive opportunities.

As Lead Youth Worker, you will provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and supervision to a small team of youth workers and volunteers, ensuring the delivery of safe, inclusive and high-quality youth work provision. You will work closely with schools, community partners and statutory services to support young people through both targeted interventions and universal youth provision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Oasis Community Hub MediaCityUK's youth work programme, including Friday Night Youth Club, holiday activities and detached youth work.
• Deliver high-quality one-to-one and small group mentoring for young people aged 10 to 16.
• Provide leadership, supervision and support to youth workers and volunteers.

The Successful Post Holder Must Have

• A relevant Youth & Community Work qualification (Level 3 or above), or significant equivalent experience within the sector.
• Experience delivering youth work, mentoring or community-based programmes with children and young people.
• Experience supporting, supervising or working alongside staff or volunteers.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and effective youth work practice.
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with schools, community organisations and statutory services.

• A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As the Programme Manager, you’ll own and drive the planning, governance and delivery of major cross charity fundraising appeals, including a significant capital appeal that forms a key part of the Charities’ long term fundraising ambitions. 

The Programme Manager is accountable for the effective governance and delivery of these programmes across multiple teams within the Charities Directorate, ensuring that priorities are clear, dependencies are actively managed, risks are addressed, decisions are made at the right level, and programmes are ready to deliver key milestones and intended outcomes. 

You will ensure programmes are underpinned by: 

• Clear governance, decision-making and escalation structures 
• A single, accurate view of programme performance, progress, risks, dependencies and readiness 
• Clear ownership and accountability for delivery 
• Effective mechanisms for identifying and resolving issues before they impact programme outcomes. 

Acting as a key interface between the Charity and the Trust, you will build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influence and challenge where appropriate, align competing priorities and ensure critical dependencies are actively managed. You will use judgement to identify when issues require escalation, intervention or senior decision-making. 

You will provide leadership across programme governance and performance, chairing senior cross functional forums and ensuring that decisions, actions and accountabilities are clear and followed through. You will intervene where necessary to resolve delivery challenges, challenge unrealistic assumptions or plans, and protect programme outcomes. 

 Beyond immediate appeal delivery, the Programme Manager leads horizon scanning to identify opportunities that leverage appeal success for sustainable fundraising growth, working with teams like Supporter Experience to embed donor retention and long-term income strategies into our work. 

The Programme Manager will be an experienced programme leader who can take accountability for complex, multi-stakeholder programmes; bring clarity and structure to ambiguity; influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams; and exercise sound judgement to resolve challenges, manage competing priorities and protect programme outcomes. 

As part of a small Strategy, Planning & Innovation team, the Programme Manager will also champion project management best practice across the directorate, building the tools, capability and ways of working that enable consistent high-quality delivery.

 Programme and project Leadership (approx. 40% of role) 

• Lead the planning, governance and successful delivery of major fundraising appeals, ensuring clear milestones, ownership, risk management and cross-team collaboration.

Management of stakeholders and interdependencies (approx. 40% of role) 

• Act as the primary liaison between the Charities Directorate and the Trust, ensuring strategic alignment, effective decision making and management of critical programme dependencies. This means you’ll be onsite at the hospital and hospital offices on Lambeth Palace Road frequently and regularly. 
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the Charity and the Trust, including those more senior, providing constructive challenge, influencing decisions and securing alignment around programme priorities and delivery. 
• Provide programme leadership through chairing appeal boards and senior governance forums, ensuring strategic decisions are made, owned and acted upon. 
• Lead cross-functional working groups that co-ordinate delivery across teams, resolve challenges and maintain progress against programme objectives.

Project management best practice (approx. 20% of role) 

• Design and embed a project management toolkit that empowers teams to lead consistent and high quality projects in their own business areas. 
• Build project and programme management capability across teams by coaching, influencing and challenging colleagues to adopt effective approaches and ways of working, improving the consistency and quality of delivery across teams. 
• Partner with the Strategy and Planning Manager to shape business planning tools, processes and mechanisms that drive collaboration, enable iteration and strengthen delivery across the directorate. 

 Work environment The post holder should expect to:

•  Work in a hot desk environment, at least two days a week in the Charity’s office, hospital and hospital offices. 
• Be responsible for the input and maintenance of databases and files relevant to the post requirements. 
• Will occasionally be required to attend events in the evening and at weekends (eg board meetings, launch events).
