We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Membership Events team as Membership Events Officer.

Part of a hard working, fantastic team, this role will see you delivering, supporting and coordinating RBL Membership Directorates busy catalogues of events. This includes Annual Conference, County Chair Seminars, Awaydays, Meet-ups and meetings.

As the nations largest Armed Forces charity, RBL has over 180,000 members. Our Membership exists so our Armed Forces family has friends and allies standing by them in every community. This role will see you working within our Membership Policy and Compliance team supporting on a range of high profile events across the year.

Reporting to the Membership Events Manager, key responsibilities will include:

· Lead and manage workstreams for organisation of Annual Conference, including chairing Working Group meetings, coordinating exhibitions, managing registration, accommodation and catering bookings, venue sourcing, IT and AV requirements and more

· Work alongside Membership Services, Communications and Compliance teams, as well as Brand, to collaborate cohesively on events

· Create and distribute registration forms for all events and manage responses and attendee requirements

· Liaise with venue staff, raise relevant payments, negotiate prices and conditions, and finalise event agreements according to changing requirements

· Use appropriate and effective event planning tools to manage workload, deadlines and reporting

You will bring with you experience in events planning and management and strong administrative and minute taking experience. You will be confident using various systems including Microsoft Office and databases and will be an exceptional communicator with groups and stakeholders at all levels.

You will be contracted to our London, Haig House, Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the London Hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as Administration Manager. As Manager of a small team of administration assistants, you will play a crucial role in coordinating administrative support across our Perth and Aberdeen offices, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation by providing support across several of the charity’s functions including fundraising, finance, marketing and operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar office or administration management role, ideally within the charity sector. They will be proactive in building positive relationships across the charity and will be confident managing projects, budgets and external suppliers. They will have experience of using CRM systems in a fundraising context, be solutions-focused and have a strong commitment to our mission.

This role will be based from our headquarters at Perth Airport, and occasional travel to our Aberdeen base will be required. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current approach typically includes two office days per week for those working on a hybrid basis. The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dynamic individual who is enthusiastic about working in the homelessness sector and committed to helping people overcome complex life challenges. You will support a group of individuals facing multiple disadvantages including homelessness, substance misuse, mental and physical health issues, trauma, and possible involvement with the criminal justice system.

You’ll work closely with the Lived Experience Team, under the guidance of the Team Leader, and offer engaging activities designed to build confidence, skills, and lasting connections.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide consistent, sustained support to help individuals engage with relevant services.

· Develop and update support plans that track progress, activities, and outcomes.

· Organise and deliver meaningful, fun, and skills-based group activities (e.g. cooking, art, music, fitness, photography).

· Signpost to external support groups and services, such as Andy’s Man Club, where appropriate.

· Foster partnerships with voluntary and statutory services to ensure cohesive support.

· Regularly identify and address barriers to progress, working collaboratively with each individual.

· Work confidently and professionally with individuals in crisis, managing risk and seeking appropriate support when                needed.

· Collaborate within the Lived Experience Team to share responsibilities and support team goals.

· Build relationships with faith groups, including Doncaster Minster (if possible), to secure space or volunteers for client-          focused activities.

This role is employed by Church Urban Fund (CUF) and will be managed remotely. While you will be based with the Starting Point  team in Doncaster City Centre, your work will also take place in the community and, occasionally, from home. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

As the Supporter Engagement and Giving Manager, you will help our organisation raise steady and reliable income at an exciting time, as we embed our new brand and five-year strategy. Your main role is to build strong relationships with our donors and to give them an excellent experience. This work is essential to ensure our Supporter and Giving Programme continues to bring in the donations we need to maximise our impact. 

You will lead the work to grow our donor community, managing a team of officers to deliver appeals, campaigns and stewardship activity. You will also look for new ways to connect with supporters and increase engagement across multiple communication channels.

• Lead the team to deliver the planned programme of work across acquisition, retention and stewardship

This role will develop and maintain relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory funders through updates and other bespoke communications in order to maximise income.

You will create funding applications which result in significant five- and six-figure gifts in support of Sue Ryder’s vision and mission. Monitor and report progress towards income targets and other agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

ABOUT SUZY LAMPLUGH TRUST: 

The Suzy Lamplugh Trust was established in memory of Suzy Lamplugh, a young estate agent who tragically disappeared while at work in 1986 and was later declared deceased in 1993. Created to honour Suzy’s legacy, the Trust aims to empower individuals and organisations to take a stand against abuse, aggression, and violence in all forms, supporting safety in both personal and professional lives.

Role overview: 

This is a new and developing service focused on increasing accessibility to stalking support for underrepresented and marginalised communities across London.  The postholder will play a key role in designing, embedding, and delivering this community-based model, working closely with community groups, partners, and volunteers whilst holding a small caseload leading to building trusted pathways into service for communities that may face barriers to accessing traditional support. 

The role will oversee two key initiatives: 

1. Community First Responders:  Trained volunteers with lived and/or professional experience (including LGBTQ+ communities, racially minoritised groups, victims with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and those with other accessibility needs) who provide face-to-face stalking support and awareness across London. 

2. Community Champions: Staff/volunteers within third-party organisations within the London ecosystem of service providers who are trained to provide first-responder level support within their own communities. 

The role builds and manages networks of community champions and first responders while holding a reduced advocacy caseload.

LGBTQ+ Adult Project Worker 

Responsible to: Communications and Engagement Manager

Context 

Q:alliance provides support, information and representation for LGBTQ+ people who live, work and socialise in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Our goal is to create safe, welcoming spaces and accessible resources to ensure that the LGBTQ+ community is visible, represented and supported. 

Scope 

The Adult Project Worker will facilitate up to three weekly provisions for LGBTQ+ adults, working collaboratively within the team to develop activities that reduce isolation, create opportunities for belonging, and strengthen participation within the LGBTQ+ community in Milton Keynes. 

Sessions may take place at our centre in Fenny Stratford or at community locations across Milton Keynes, including Central Milton Keynes. Due to the nature of community-based group provision, most sessions take place during evenings, with some weekend working required to support community events and activities. 

Main Responsibilities  

• Support, information and empowerment – Develop and deliver resources, activities and events within group programmes. Create welcoming, safe and enjoyable environments where community members feel respected and included. Provide light-touch support and appropriate signposting to relevant services, and liaise with stakeholder organisations that support our community. 

• Co-production – Encourage meaningful involvement from beneficiaries in shaping activities and services. Support individuals to take on participatory roles within the organisation, such as co-chairing sessions or contributing to programme development. Seek innovative ways to embed community voice within service delivery. 

• Inclusivity – Ensure that services remain welcoming and accessible to a diverse range of LGBTQ+ people. Support activities that reflect varied perspectives, experiences and identities within the community. 

• Data capture and intelligence - Support Q;alliance’s commitment to sustaining a contemporary data and monitoring mechanism, guaranteeing we can deliver thorough evaluations of our services and competent feedback to our funders and stakeholders on the efficacy of our work.

• This role involves working with members of the community and may involve contact with adults who could be considered vulnerable. What you’ll bring to the team 

You will work collaboratively with the adult services team to strengthen Q:alliance’s adult provision and ensure that our services continue to meet the needs of the LGBTQ+ community. 

The role will contribute to creating safe and welcoming spaces in line with Q:alliance’s Safer Spaces policy, helping ensure consistency and quality across our different adult programmes.

The role

As a Trainer at Cruse Bereavement Support, you will play a key role in delivering and developing training for external organisations. You will equip employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders with the knowledge and skills to support bereaved individuals, including clients, employees, or community members.

You will deliver both scheduled and bespoke training sessions, adapting content to meet the needs of diverse audiences while maintaining alignment with Cruse’s values, safeguarding standards, and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles. The role includes supporting the development of new training content, digitisation of learning materials, and contributing to quality assurance processes including trainer observations and feedback review.

We are looking for a collaborative, self-motivated professional with experience in training or coaching adults, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload while promoting a positive learning environment. A passion for bereavement support and commitment to enabling others to provide compassionate care is essential.

About the Project

PKD Scotland: Outreach and Community Connections Project. 

It is estimated that around 5,000 people in Scotland could be living with Polycystic Kidney 
Disease. It is however often poorly understood and historically underfunded, meaning people 
can leave clinic after diagnosis with little support beyond medical appointments. Many tell us 
they don't know where to turn for emotional support or to meet others living with the same 
condition. We want to change that and with support from a National lottery Awards for All grant 
that is exactly what we are going to do. 

The eighteen-month project will see us reach into hospitals across Scotland to try and ensure 
that no one with PKD in Scotland has to manage their journey on their own. From diagnosis 
onwards we want all to be aware of the charity, the array of services that we offer and foster 
engagement. Two new volunteer led support groups will be established and a group of 
ambassadors recruited to support the ongoing connections we make to ensure that PKD 
remains in the spotlight. 

As our Scotland PKD Engagement Officer you will be central to the success of the project. 
Many people only reach us years after diagnosis, often when symptoms worsen, but we know 
that early connection can make a real difference. PKD is lifelong and people face new 
challenges at every stage. Having support around them helps them stay confident, informed
and connected.

About The Role

 
As PKD’s Scotland Engagement Officer, you will play a central role in delivering this ambitious 
outreach project. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will raise awareness of the PKD Charity and its services, 
ensuring that people diagnosed with PKD are informed about available support from the earliest 
possible stage.

You will build and nurture relationships with NHS professionals and services across Scotland, 
helping embed PKD Charity information and resources into patient pathways. Alongside this, you 
will work closely with volunteers to establish two new PKD support groups and develop an 
ambassador programme to maintain long-term local engagement and visibility.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident relationship-builder who enjoys working 
autonomously while contributing to a small and dedicated team. Your work will help ensure that 
people living with PKD across Scotland feel informed, connected and supported throughout every 
stage of their condition.
