You will support a team of highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence. This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.
To be considered for this role you must fulfil the professional qualification section of the person specification. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

What we definitely need is someone with a strong foundation in Individual Giving - that means the ability to lead on campaigns and product development, as well as confidently manage pipeline planning.
You'll take creative control and responsibility for delivering effective multi-channel fundraising appeals, including key moments in the campaign calendar, such as the Christmas appeal. Using insight, storytelling and data to deepen relationships and grow income, you'll develop meaningful supporter journeys that recruit, retain and inspire generosity. Working closely with colleagues across communications, operations and programmes, you'll help strengthen collaboration across teams, ensuring day-to-day activity and processes support the shared goal of bringing Church Army's mission to life.
You'll also line manage the Individual Giving Officer, providing guidance and support, as well as supervising and supporting the Trusts Consultant and Legacy Consultant. This could be a perfect development opportunity for someone looking to build or grow their leadership experience.

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer to join the EDI function on a part-time basis, with a particular focus on supporting the Witness Service.
This role is home-based but will require occasional travel within England and Wales.

The Role
The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer will support the National Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead to achieve delivery of meaningful and evidence-based equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives across the charity, with a particular focus on the Witness Service. This will include work to help develop the Witness Service, and the charity more widely, to be proactively antiracist.
The EDI Officer will provide advice and guidance in relation to a wide range of EDI queries, including areas such as equality impact assessments, reasonable adjustments and interpretation services. You will help to boost Witness Service employee and volunteer engagement in EDI initiatives and promote best practice.

The Witness Service provides free, independent support to any witness giving evidence in criminal courts in England and Wales, both for the prosecution and the defence. The trained staff and volunteers help people understand what to expect before, during and after a trial, and offer practical and emotional support every step of the way, so witnesses can give their best evidence. The Witness Service also supports bereaved family members, friends and family who are accompanying witnesses in court.
