Job description

We are delighted to be supporting a UK-based charity working to tackle racial inequality and strengthen leadership within Black and minoritised communities in their search for an Interim Programme Coordinator. This is a part-time (21 hours per week), fully remote role for an initial 3-month assignment with an immediate start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive coordinator who is passionate about community empowerment, racial justice and supporting programmes that create meaningful, lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Coordinating programme delivery through managing training schedules, logistics and communications with trainers, delegates and partners.
  • Monitoring attendance, gathering feedback and supporting reporting requirements for funders and stakeholders.
  • Producing monthly newsletters and maintaining digital content across the organisation's website and LinkedIn.
  • Supporting events, partner steering meetings and wider community activities.
  • Providing administrative support including preparing payment schedules, note-taking and maintaining shared systems.

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • Experience in programme coordination, administration or operational support within a charity, training or community setting.
  • Strong digital capability, with confidence using tools such as Outlook/Google, Excel/Sheets, Teams/Zoom and shared drives.
  • The ability to work autonomously in a small, mission-led organisation with a flexible and solution-focused approach.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Sensitivity to issues of racial justice, inclusion and community engagement.

If you're seeking a meaningful role where you can contribute directly to programmes supporting racial equity, leadership development and community empowerment, we'd love to hear from you.

Please apply below and submit your CV in Word format.
