About the role

You’ll be based in Sunderland, at our National Customer Service Centre (NCSC), located just 600 metres from our local PDSA Pet Hospital.

Our centre has been running in its current form for nearly a decade and is home to a friendly team of 60 colleagues, a great mix of full- and part-time team members who work together to deliver excellent service and results.

Over the years, the NCSC has evolved significantly, now handling a wide range of customer and supporter interactions. It’s an energetic, supportive environment where every conversation helps make a difference.

What you’ll do

• Make inspiring outbound calls to engage supporters, encourage donations, and promote PDSA’s work.
• Handle inbound calls related to fundraising with empathy and professionalism.
• Achieve personal and team income, service and quality targets.
• Build positive relationships with supporters through excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with Data Protection and fundraising regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PDSA’s veterinary and fundraising activities.

About the role:

The post holder will be responsible for all things fundraising. 

The ideal candidate will be keen to build relationships with individuals and corporate supporters, as well as make applications to trusts and foundations to secure grant funding.  You will contribute towards the fundraising strategy to ensure sustainability of the charity.

Working with our team members and volunteers, you will manage our funding pipeline, produce a range of applications – whether multi-year grants or project specific requests – and help to capture and report REACH’s impact for the benefits of funders.

We’re looking to grow our delivery team with a brand new role that is responsible for processing the referrals we receive for the Settle Programme as well as holding assessment meetings as and when necessary. The successful candidate will also be a Senior Settle Coach holding a reduced caseload and using their frontline skills to work one-to-one with care-experienced young people across London.

For this role, we anticipate that you will spend 50-60% of your time processing and responding to referrals, including taking further steps to assess the needs of the young person who has been referred. To do this you’ll work closely with our Programme Management team, Business Development team and referral partners to ensure that we have all the necessary information to deal safely and appropriately with referrals. As this is a new role to the organisation, there will be scope to shape and influence the way this work is managed alongside your manager and our Chief Operating Officer.

We then anticipate you will spend the remaining 40-50% of your time as a Senior Settle Coach, working on the frontline, delivering one-to-one sessions with care-experienced young people across London. You’ll work closely with our partners to ensure the smooth delivery of our contracts and with the Programme Management team and Senior Partnerships Manager to support reporting on outcomes and regular partnership meetings.

You will report into a manager within the Programme Management team.

Candidates with experience of assessing and managing risk are encouraged to apply. We’re looking for a Policy Officer who will make a difference to health and social care policy for people with arthritis.  

Within the Chief Executive’s Office, the UK Advocacy and Health Intelligence Department are focused on creating lasting change. We identify creative policy solutions in response to the challenges people with arthritis face. We influence decision-makers through stakeholder engagement, public affairs activity and by campaigning alongside people with arthritis. We have expertise across health and care services, public health, and employment policy. We also work in collaboration to influence medical research and data policy and play an active role in several cross-sector groups.  

About the role
The purpose of this role is to drive policy development across our policy priority areas. The Policy Officer will lead on specific policy projects, commissioning research, developing policy positions, and producing reports and consultation responses.  

This role will cover a broad range of issues across one of our strategic goals – prevention and diagnosis; access to treatment; and living well with arthritis. Our approach considers the needs of people of all ages who have arthritis.               

The Policy Officer will also contribute to the wider work of the team, working closely with colleagues in the Nations Teams, the Research Directorate and the wider charity, including by representing us on cross-sector policy groups, drafting briefings, and participating in events and conferences.

About the Role

The Refugee and Migrant Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Resettlement Department. As part of our mission to assist refugees and migrants in overcoming barriers to integration, this role will play a key part in helping newly arrived refugees settle into their new communities with confidence and independence.

RMC is a well-established charity with over 25 years of experience working with vulnerable refugees and migrants. We provide a range of services, including immigration advice, housing support, welfare assistance, and employment guidance. Our work ensures that refugees and migrants receive the necessary support to become equal citizens in the UK.

Purpose of the Role

The Family Support Worker will support newly arrived refugees and their families, enabling them to navigate the complex challenges of settling into the UK. Working closely with our multi-skilled resettlement team, you will deliver holistic support to refugees across a range of services, including welfare benefits, housing, health, education, and employment. You will also play a key role in empowering families to build their confidence, independence, and long-term integration into the community.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Client Support & Case Management:

• Manage a caseload of newly arrived refugee families, providing tailored support to meet their specific needs.
• Conduct home visits and orientation sessions to welcome clients to their new community and complete holistic needs assessments.
• Develop Personal Integration Plans for each household on a quarterly basis, helping them set goals for long-term independence.
• Coordinate support with external agencies and specialists to address clients’ needs, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Support families with housing, welfare benefits, education, healthcare, and employment.
• Assist with registration for healthcare services (GPs, dentists, opticians) and support with medical assessments.
• Facilitate access to education for children and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for adults.
• Provide guidance on immigration matters and ensure the correct paperwork is in place, including registering for Biometric Residence Cards and supporting welfare benefit applications.
• Ensure clients are financially supported by applying for relevant welfare benefits and assisting with mandatory reconsiderations as required.

Integration & Independence:

• Help clients develop the skills and knowledge to achieve independence, focusing on self-sufficiency and integration into the local community.
• Support families in securing suitable accommodation, liaising with landlords, housing providers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing orientation on UK systems, including financial rights and responsibilities, social services, and community resources.
• Encourage social integration by organising outings and community events to foster connections with local services and other refugees.

Partnership Working & Community Engagement:

• Work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that refugees have access to the services and support they need.
• Act as the lead contact for other agencies involved in supporting your clients, ensuring a collaborative approach to case management.
• Promote the long-term integration of refugees by identifying and facilitating opportunities for engagement with mainstream services.

Administrative & Reporting Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and case progress, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
• Provide written reports and case updates as required by the Resettlement Coordinator and Manager.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of services based on monitoring and evaluation feedback.

General Responsibilities:

About the opportunity

As Accounts Assistant focusing on Treasury and Accounts Receivables, you'll play an important role in delivering a high-performing, efficient financial transactions operation with partnership and improvement at its core. This is both an operational and developmental role, offered with the possibility of pursuing a formal qualification such as a financial accounting apprenticeship or another appropriate finance or administration-related qualification.

You'll be part of our Finance & Assurance directorate, reporting to the Financial Transaction Team Officers and working alongside other assistants and trainees. From recording and processing financial transactions to supporting month-end and year-end processes, you'll monitor daily communications and role-model brilliant partnership and customer service, support reconciliations and audits, and work in an agile way across multiple projects and workstreams.

You'll have opportunities to undertake specific improvement projects, identify ways to enhance processes, and support colleagues across the organisation to operate within best practice when it comes to financial transactions.

Projects supports women in the criminal justice system, in healthcare settings, and throughout the community, offering support to women and children experiencing domestic violence. Alongside this, we also have staff offering training and consultancy to businesses and health and social care professionals alike, raising awareness on gender based violence issues.

Key Responsibilities
To assist the refuge manager in the day-to-day running of the refuge, developing and delivering a front line service offering support, advice and guidance to women and their children living in the refuge.

*BSWA provides safe secure accommodation to some of the most vulnerable women and children therefore in order to ensure we provide maximum support and safety it is essential that our service is available to them 24/7. We do this through operating an on-site rota that covers weekends, evenings and bank holidays as well as a 24 hour call out system

Prospectus is pleased to be supporting the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity to recruit a Trusts Officer (12-month fixed term contract).

This organisation supports people living with HIV and amplify their voices and help the people using their services to achieve good sexual health. They have ambitious plans to end HIV transmissions in the UK by 2030. 

As the Trusts Officer, you will be responsible for helping to deliver trusts and foundations income generation for the organisation. This will consist of managing existing relationships and building new relationships wiht trusts and foundations capable of giving £20k+ grants. Joining a collaborative small trusts fundraising team, this role will have lots of variety in the relationships it builds and gain great mentorship from its manager and team.

To be successful as the Trusts Officer you will have proven experience in developing relationships through compelling writing and ideally have some knowledge of trust and foundations fundraising. Ideally you will have done this within a fundraising or charity setting, but this is not essential. You will have excellent stewardship and reporting capabilities and be confident working both autonomously and in a team. 

This role is a full-time position that will be a 12-month FTC and have hybrid working in the London offices one day per week. The salary for this role is £31,281.

One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.

One25 services meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. Our Health Hub provides vital support for women to access health services and healthcare professionals. Our caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.

We are recruiting a Recovery Caseworker to our specialist casework team. You will be supporting women who street sex work in their recovery journey to address challenges that they face as a result of substance use and to access appropriate treatment options including scripting, detox and rehab. This role is part of the wider Horizons Bristol commissioned drug and alcohol service and will involve working closely with relevant partner agencies, as well as your fellow One25 caseworkers, to achieve positive outcomes for women.

JOB PURPOSE:

Health & Safety Coordinator

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months max, to cover maternity leave.

The hours are 37.5 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday

The role:

The Health & Safety Coordinator will provide support across the Rothschild Foundation to ensure that all appropriate health and safety, risk management, and related compliance systems and procedures are in place, reviewed and updated regularly.

This role is responsible for producing incident reports and submitting RIDDOR reports, undertaking weekly and quarterly playground inspections, as well as responding to all queries - both internally and externally - relating to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations into workplace and visitor incidents, and be directly responsible for the necessary record keeping and any claims management.
• Working with the Security Department, and supporting as required with fire testing and safety. You will work with the Head of Security on disaster planning and the disaster team in general
• Ensure contractor management policy is followed, and new contractors are onboarded correctly with all documents checked
• Undertake weekly and quarterly routine inspection of the children’s woodland playground at Waddesdon Manor, ensuring all paperwork is completed, reporting any required works, and liaising with ROSPA and the insurers during their annual inspection
• Make the action points for the H&S Committee meeting, distribute these in a timely manner, and support preparation of the agenda in advance of the meeting
• Ensure Heads of Departments update and maintain all risk assessments for their business area and that record of awareness forms are completed annually, and remind Heads of Department about conducting new activity risk assessments
• Coordinate mandatory training for the Rothschild Foundation using the e-learning system and regularly produce reports on staff members that have not completed the required modules and flag to the relevant line manager

Home-Start Portsmouth (HSP) supports parents from pregnancy onwards, recognising the vital role they play in their children's lives. We aim to build a compassionate community that surrounds families, parents, and children with care - because childhood can’t wait. Our expert staff and trained volunteers provide child-focused family support to help Portsmouth families thrive. 

Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) are a UK-wide charity offering impartial information and specialist support to parents undergoing antenatal testing. ARC also partners with healthcare professionals to promote high-quality, equitable care. 

We are recruiting an ARC Project Coordinator, who will lead a project aimed at improving pregnancy aspirations and readiness in communities, particularly those less likely to engage with maternity services. The project will focus on healthy conversations, accessible and accurate information, and equitable access to interventions, helping reduce inequalities and support informed pregnancy choices. 

The coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising a small team of volunteers who will help deliver some parts of the project. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities  

1. Project Delivery: 

• Lead, manage, and ensure the high-quality delivery of the ARC Project 

• Facilitate informed decision-making in pregnancy by working in partnership with ARC, our funder 

• Engage with parents less likely to access antenatal screening, offering information and support to help them understand and access available options 

• Provide education and signposting to both parents and health professionals about available support 

• Deliver person-centred relational support using evidence-based interventions and approaches 

• Normalise conversations about antenatal screening through a variety of services, including; clinics, participation in HSP’s prenatal offer, community groups, and partnerships with health services and the wider workforce 

1. Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key individuals within HIOW Healthcare NHS Trust and Portsmouth City Council 

• To work as part of an integrated approach across the Family Hub Programme delivery, including maternity services 

• Work in partnership with Family Hub Champions, Family Nurse Partnership, Families in Mind, Midwifery services and other voluntary sector partners as part of the wider Family Hub Programme workforce 

• Facilitate collaboration and networking between multiple agencies to ensure a coordinated, integrated approach

• Maintain data collection and case recording systems 

• Keep up-to-date records about volunteers and their roles

• Manage project resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses

• Make day-to-day decisions regarding families, children, and volunteers without reference to the Head of Operations, except where sign off is required

• To spend budgets for events on behalf of Home-Start Portsmouth, agreed with Head of Operations 

• In absence of Head of Operations or CEO, to make decisions regarding families, children, and volunteers alongside the HSP Management and Coordinating teams
