This is an exciting role for an individual starting their career in direct marketing, supporting the planning, delivery, and analysis of integrated campaigns through a range of products and channels which aim to maximise giving from existing supporters and attract new supporters to Kidney Research UK.

Reporting to the individual giving manager, you will work with the team, assisting on the delivery of successful fundraising propositions and campaigns. Alongside the individual giving manager, you will also be responsible for planning and delivering campaigns such as our Christmas catalogue, advent, and gift aid direct mail, ensuring they are delivered within the expenditure budget.
We are looking for someone creative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to coordinate and multi-task. You will be numerate and analytical, well organised with a flexible approach and an excellent team player. The individual will be proficient in Microsoft applications.

About the role
You’ll support our national and local campaigning work across Scotland to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s and those closest to them. You need to be committed supporting clients to make positive changes in order to prepare them for release into the community, and you will arrange continuity of care. You will work in collaboration with the clinical team and integrated working is a key element of this role. You will work within the prison setting and contribute towards the wider drug strategy.
Having experience of supporting people with complex health needs including substance misuse, you will bring knowledge and commitment to deliver drug and alcohol treatment. You will have a non-judgemental attitude and a desire to support the lives of our service users to be healthier and safer by delivering a high-quality service.
Experience of working with drug and alcohol misuse and individuals is essential. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently and be comfortable and enthusiastic, both with the highlighted client group and working in partnership with other service providers. The Vacancy
We are offering an interesting and varied opportunity to support the work of the Connexional Team and the wider Methodist Church in delivering its strategic plan to make the best use of its property portfolio in local communities across the country and centrally.
Working alongside the Director and colleagues within the Property Support team, you will be providing support and management to Connexional property, particularly focussing on the Connexional manse portfolio and its resident ministers. Alongside this, you will lead on the communications and resourcing to the District Property Officer network and other relevant networks, across the Connexion.
You will also be a central Property Support team member assisting team colleagues within their specific areas of expertise including Listed Buildings and the Church’s net zero strategy. You will preferably have experience supporting a senior team within a property function and preferably have some experience in a property or project management type function.
As the role will underpin and contribute to supporting the team’s work with external colleagues, particularly the District Property Officer network, it is essential that you are comfortable in engaging with a range of stakeholders, and have excellent organisational skills, particularly in terms of resourcing and training.
The role will be very collaborative with team colleagues, and therefore experience and ability to plan, research and assimilate new information alongside the analysis and delivery of projects will be an essential quality.

- Job Title: Senior Finance Officer
- Location: Nottingham Office/Hybrid
- Salary: £25,000
- Permanent, 35 hours per week x 52 weeks per year.
This role is part of a small Finance team that supports the work of Headway - the brain injury association. The role is line managed by the Finance Manager and liaises with every team within the organisation.
What you will do
As a Senior Finance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the purchase and sales ledgers for both the charity and retail company, supporting colleagues, and resolving queries from suppliers and customers. You will monitor the purchase invoice mailbox and online purchase invoice accounts, ensuring that all invoices are downloaded promptly and passed on to relevant colleagues for authorisation.
You will be responsible for recording all purchase and sales invoices on our accounts system, Exchequer and ensuring that all bank transactions are entered on a timely basis. You will also be responsible for preparing and entering key monthly journals, including but not limited to charity and retail income, charity merchandise sales, depreciation, credit card expenditure, pre-paid rent and service charges. The majority of this work will use our Excel linked auto-loaders, but some manual entry will also be required.
You will complete monthly supplier account reconciliations and be responsible for raising any concerns or discrepancies with the Finance Manager.
You will maintain the stock system for the online merchandise shop, updating it with new stock and prices, using the information from the system to create the monthly cost of sales journal.
The Senior Finance Officer will work with the Finance Manager to ensure that all monthly and month-end routines are completed in line with team and organisational deadlines and complete any other finance tasks that may be required.
