We are seeking a passionate and organised Children and Families Worker to lead and grow our ministry with children and families in the parish. This role is perfect for someone who loves helping children explore faith, has experience working with different age groups, and enjoys building relationships in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Run Children’s Church on Sundays during term-time — including leading sessions and coordinating a team of volunteers.

• Develop a new older children’s group, including volunteer recruitment and curriculum planning.

• Help lead monthly All-Age Services in collaboration with the Vicar.

• Run a monthly Bubble Church service and manage related outreach and admin.

• Co-lead Tufnell Tots (stay-and-play group) on Thursday mornings.

• Build relationships with local primary schools (Tufnell Park and Yerbury) through regular lunch clubs, assemblies, and visits.

• Support and co-run termly community events such as our Pancake Party, Fireworks Night, and Back to School Party.

• Develop creative, new initiatives — such as after-school activities or holiday clubs — to help children and families engage with faith.

• Ensure full compliance with our safeguarding policy and support safeguarding admin.

• Encourage sustainability in children’s events and teach the importance of caring for God’s creation.

• Support an inclusive approach to working with children with additional needs and disabilities, adapting content and approaches as needed.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Knowledge & Approach

• NEBOSH National Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 H&S qualification).
• Proven experience in estates, facilities or maintenance environment
• Strong practical, hands-on maintenance skills
• Experience managing or coordinating maintenance activity
• Experience working with contractors
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance requirements, including correct use of PPE, COSHH, Manual Handling, Legionella, Risk Assessments etc

About the Role

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior projects officer to support the delivery of the development phase of a project to deliver an inspiring future vision for Hickling Broad and Marshes.

The largest of the Broads, Hickling is a year-round haven for wildlife situated at the heart of a thriving local community and attracting a wide range of visitors. Bringing together workstreams in ecological management, estate management, visitor experience and engagement, this project is based on a shared vision and aims to deliver ecological, social and economic wellbeing outcomes for the nature reserve and the surrounding area.

Reporting to the Project Manager for the Wilder Hickling project, the successful candidate will provide project support and co-ordination for the development phase of the project which will include the detailed planning and deliverables to successfully obtain permissions and funding for the delivery phase.

The post offers an excellent opportunity for a senior projects officer to build their experience supporting a high profile, multidisciplinary strategic project in cooperation with colleagues, partners and the local community working with a project team from across the Trust.

Excellent co-ordination and collaboration skills and the ability to support the project manager in driving delivery are essential to allow you to support and enable the organisation to bring our vision for a Wilder Hickling to life.

The successful candidate must have proven project management skills from previous roles, providing both general project management support and specialist multi-disciplinary support. Having worked within a project management framework is essential, qualifications are highly desirable.

There is the potential for this role to be extended into the delivery phase of the project subject to the successful outcomes of the development phase.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day finance transactions, including banking, management accounts review and reconciliation, debtor management and reporting, and the administration and development of the finance system. This includes close working with the Accounts Payable team to ensure robust financial control, compliance and efficiency across all academies within the Trust.

You will provide a stable, flexible and resilient service that supports leadership in delivering value for money and strong financial stewardship across all income streams received by the Trust. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Control & Accounting: Lead month-end close procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, and correction journals. Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate annual depreciation in line with academy financial reporting standards.
• Budgeting & Income Management: Partner with the Finance Director to advise academy budget holders, manage self-generated income streams (including debt management/reporting), and oversee compliance for the 6th form bursary payment process.
• Cash & Compliance: Direct daily banking reconciliations, cash-flow forecasting, and monthly VAT 126 return submissions to HMRC.
• Systems & Operational Support: Act as the super-user and administrator for the Trust’s finance system—providing training to staff and stepping in to support the Accounts Payable team during peak periods.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Sector Experience: Prior finance experience within an educational setting, academy trust, local authority, or the wider public/not-for-profit sector is highly desirable but not essential.
• Technical Strength: A strong foundation in management accounts preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial control frameworks.
• System Savvy: Excellent IT skills, particularly with modern finance software/ERP systems, and the ability to train/support other users.
• Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to academic leaders and senior trustees who may not have a finance background.

Role Description

The Programme Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. • A tenacious and proactive approach, with the energy, drive and enthusiasm to deliver outstanding results in corporate fundraising.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines effectively.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team in Exeter.

The Deputy Manager will work as part of a team that provide holistic recovery-focused support to clients with mental health across Exeter & East Devon Mental Health Services. 

They will work closely with and deputise for the Service Manager to ensure the effective delivery of quality housing and support services within Exeter & East Devon Mental Health Services and will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery. They will provide effective line management for delegated front-line staff of the services, to include recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and performance management.

What you will be doing: 

• Implementing, evaluating and contributing towards the development of local / service specific procedures and good practice in all areas of service management.
• Undertaking regular audits of various aspects of the service including, but not limited to, CDPSoft records, Universal Housing (UH) records, client files, Medication paperwork and Health & Safety records and to undertake any necessary action and report any issues or concerns to the Service Manager.
• Planning, coordinating and leading on the induction of all line managed staff and ensuring that all ongoing training needs are identified, reviewed and implemented and to assist in the induction of any other staff team member, as required.
• Allocating client caseloads to the Mental Health Support Workers fairly and consistently and, in the absence of a Mental Health Support Worker, to ensure client caseloads are appropriately reallocated and covered.
• Being responsible for the day-to-day operations of the services whilst ensuring that effective administration and communication systems are maintained and adhered to

On-call is on a rolling rota with you being on-call once every 10-14 days.Weekday on-calls are from 2000-0800 and weekend and public holiday on-calls are 0800-0800.

This is a pivotal role within a small, ambitious team, working closely with clinical leaders and committees to deliver high-quality education for a diverse membership including nurses, consultants, resident doctors, pharmacists, scientists and allied health professionals. 

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering BSH’s educational offer – from webinars and podcasts to in-person events and digital learning resources – as well as leading the development of our new online Knowledge Hub. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the BSH Education Committee and deliver its programme of educational activity 

• Plan, coordinate and deliver webinars, podcasts, events and educational resources 

• Lead the development and management of the BSH Knowledge Hub, ensuring content is high-quality, relevant and up to date 

• Track engagement and usage data, including CPD activity 

• Support delivery of education sessions at external events and contribute to BSH events 

• Work collaboratively with other societies and organisations to enhance educational content and signposting 

• Support educational outputs across BSH committees, particularly the Nurse Forum and Research Forum
