We’re seeking a passionate Video and Photo Content Producer to help us tell powerful stories that inspire and engage. In this dynamic role, you’ll capture, edit, and produce high-quality video and photography that showcases our mission and connects with audiences across digital platforms and within churches. Working within our Fundraising and Communications department and liaising closely with our Department for World Mission, you’ll craft compelling narratives that show the impact of our work around the world to UK supporters. You'll ensure we represent the dignity of the people we work with and tell their stories with accuracy and care.

The role will be hybrid, based in Didcot, with overseas travel expected.

The role of the People Partner is to work in partnership with directors and their managers, supporting and influencing the delivery of People Team services (including employees and volunteers), particularly in relation to people management. You will provide HR coaching and consulting that delivers People and Culture best practice and commercially focused HR/People advice.

You will proactively support leaders and managers to develop forward planning and good management practice with a focus on increased staff engagement and good performance from all staff. The People Partners will be expected to drive initiatives that not only attract top talent but also foster a culture where employees feel valued, engaged, and inspired by our unique Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

Purpose of the Job

Commercial Manager will identify, develop and manage top food partners relationships and strengthen existing business relationships with companies in the food industry, generating value for the partner and to secure growing and sustainable volumes of surplus food for the FareShare Network. For designated top food partners, you will be their day-to-day point of contact with regular face to face contact at all levels.

You will undertake structured, strategic account management, leading and coordinating FareShare’s engagement across our organisation. This will mean agreeing and executing a bespoke joint business plan with each account to get more food, money and strategic support. You will also feedback on ways that we can better support our accounts and improve our services to them. You will work directly and be on-site with top food partners to help identify and overcome the barriers which exist to giving surplus food to people in need as well as increasing money and strategic resource.

You will also be required to work closely with FareShare colleagues within FareShare and across the UK in our partner organisations in order to identify and understand opportunities for creating mutual and shared value.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partnership Management

• Contribute to the development of consistent, structured Joint Business plans with

designated accounts that take into account food, funding and other strategic initiatives to drive growth in food, money and other strategic resources

• Work on behalf of the account to develop and embed services relevant to the account and agreed through the joint business plan – e.g. employability or store level redistribution 

• Execute joint business plans and report internally and externally on progress.

• Research and understand your accounts, including key ESG initiatives, waste streams, key personnel within the organisation that will help drive its success and engage the relevant internal departments through both desked based research and face to face contact.

• Proactively drive account forwards and progress these relationships with regular on-site visits and linking FareShare exec with key contacts.

• Keep up to date with industry and charity insights and ensure this is reflected back strategically across ways of working and account management.

Project and Initiative Management 

• Be responsible for managing and communicating key projects and initiatives to increase food volumes and strategic value, securing support from a range of stakeholders within food partners and across the FareShare network. 

• Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistics, Operations and Network Development teams with the aim of optimising food out to our network

• Develop and lead FareShare cross-departmental strategic activity to enable us to derive maximum value from key food partners including liaising with fundraising, marketing and volunteering teams.

About the role 

The Faith and Communities Engagement Officer role is designed to enhance and strengthen the infrastructure of homelessness services across Westminster by mobilising and supporting faith and community-based initiatives and groups. The intention is to facilitate effective partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector services and promote sustainable, community-led responses to homelessness and rough sleeping. 

Key responsibilities will include engagement and partnership development, capacity building and support, infrastructure and sustainability and advocacy. The role will play a vital part in bridging gaps between grassroots faith and community initiatives and formal homelessness systems, ensuring coordinated and compassionate support for those experiencing homelessness and rough sleeping.

Job Description

This is a responsible position managing the accounts and payroll of a medium-sized West London youth charity. The role is central to maintaining the charity’s financial wellbeing and thereby enhancing opportunities for young people.

It is a part-time role, with plenty of flexibility. Working from home and coming into our office at least once a week, you can spread the weekly hours across 3, 4 or 5 days – whatever works for you. You’ll be working closely with the Treasurer, Chief Executive, Fundraiser and Programme Director as well as our HR Manager and Operations Manager, with whom you will share some admin support.

Role Requirements

· Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable/grants claims, bank reconciliations, general accounting functions.

· Perform monthly journals and reconciliation of balance sheet/control accounts, including accruals, prepayments, deferred income and fixed assets.

· Claim monthly the Gift Aid that has not already been collected through donation platforms.

· Produce timely and accurate monthly reports for budget holders to help them effectively manage their budgets, ensuring that spend is being properly tracked and allocated against programmes and grants/donations.

· Liaise with the auditors throughout the audit process, providing supporting schedules and  grant documentation in support of the TB figures provided.

· Prepare the statutory annual accounts for review by the auditors.

· Manage payroll (30+staff), pensions and the allocation of project personnel costs. This includes liaison with the HR and programme managers to ensure the Employment Hero payroll system is processing HR information and timesheets correctly.

· Process improvement – work with key stakeholders to ensure that finance processes are fit for purpose and implementing change where improvements can/should be made.

· Ensure the Avenues has appropriate internal controls in place and is meeting all tax and audit obligations.

· Preparation and maintenance of a finance manual.

· Deal with general finance queries, both externally and from members of the team

· Co-supervise the finance and operations administrator

Person Requirements

· Accountancy qualification eg- ACA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT Professional Level or QBE

· Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role.

· Previous experience in the charity sector would be highly desirable although not essential.

· Good knowledge of QuickBooks system and proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.

· Experience of process improvement and system implementation an advantage.

· Strong communication skills well versed in speaking finance with non-finance colleagues.

· Ability to adhere to deadlines

· Confident in holding self and others to account

Join Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre in Skegness as a Summer Activity Leader and spend seven weeks creating life-changing experiences for children who really need a break.

For 135 years, Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre has provided seaside holidays for children from Derbyshire who are living in poverty, experiencing trauma, or facing multiple disadvantages. A week away from everyday pressures can help a child relax, grow in confidence, and believe in themselves again.

As part of our summer team, you’ll help deliver fun, structured activities that give children the chance to enjoy childhood — often for the first time in a long while.

You might be leading beach games, running sports activities, supporting creative workshops, helping children take part in confidence-building wellbeing sessions, or joining them on trips out around the seaside.

But more importantly, you’ll be part of a supportive team helping every child feel safe, included and valued.

Many of the children who visit us arrive feeling nervous or unsure. By the end of the week they often leave smiling, more confident, and with new friendships that stay with them long after the holiday ends.

This is more than just a summer job — it’s a chance to be part of something genuinely meaningful.

If you are living outside of a reasonable travelling distance from Skegness, we may be able to provide accommodation on site.  This will incur a small weekly charge of £40 to cover costs.

On a day-to-day basis, you will help NEON’s partners develop effective content and digital comms strategy - and offer support and training in both digital skills and ways to stay safe online. You will centre anti-oppression in your work and be able to help people stay safe online, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. You’ll be across emerging trends, using platforms effectively and aware of how to make use of digital to empower our base and persuade people to our causes. You will be across what’s happening online and in the news - and be able to quickly jump on opportunities to tell a compelling alternative story.

This project is part of a wider Communications Hub in which you’ll play an active role, helping to develop the overall strategy and direction of the project. The overall aim of the Hub is to strengthen the communication skills and abilities of progressives in the UK. The Hub has five programmes, and Digital will be the sixth programme.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the strategy development and delivery of the digital comms programme
2. Set up and manage a reactive social media unit which clips and generates new content for spokespeople, working with a pool of consultants to create fresh digital content
3. Work with the rest of the Comms Hub to develop a package of support for online influencers who have the backing of social movements, including broadcast media training, messaging insights and production tools and techniques
4. Project manage a schedule of digital media trainings - including a follow-up to our flagship spokespeople training and a one-day digital strategy training for members of the wider NEON network
