WorkWell Community Connector (Social Prescribing Link Worker)

WorkWell Salford helps people with health conditions stay in or return to work by connecting them to local health, wellbeing, and employment support. As a Community Connector, you will work with the Wellbeing Matters team to support people referred by Primary Care and other local partners. You will meet with individuals, find out what matters to them, and link them to community activities, volunteering, and support that can improve their wellbeing, confidence, and independence.

You will also work with the wider WorkWell and Wellbeing Matters teams to share insights and support the local network of community groups. This includes promoting WorkWell services, identifying people who could benefit, and supporting employment and training opportunities. Full training and ongoing professional development will be provided, and you will be part of a collaborative team helping Salford residents connect with the right support.

Role Summary

The main function of the Customer Support Engineer (“CSE”) role is to ensure those who choose Into Film receive the most positive support possible from the organisation. So, the CSE will play a key role in our product strategy, demonstrating our commitment to high retention of account holders.

The role exists as the front line of customer technical support for users of Into Film’s online offer, including the educator, club member, and online learning websites.

The CSE supports organisations, film clubs, educators, young people, and other account holders on their journey from recruitment to brand advocate. The CSE also plays a key role in monitoring issues and account activity, analysing these to inform new features and opportunities for the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service and manage support queries from users of our products and services, including cases from info@ and support@ email inboxes, phone calls, live chat, etc., via Salesforce, our Customer Relationship Management system (“CRM”)
• Troubleshoot and where necessary escalate technical issues to the Customer Support Engineer Coordinator and/or digital team via JIRA ticketing application
• Participate in rota for answering the main Into Film phone line
• Ensure that support documentation, including user-facing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), Knowledgebase (KB), and other website pages, are updated and developed to include the latest solutions for issues encountered by our users
• Assist with detailed reports on customer service issues utilising the CRM, including issue type and frequency
• Assist with creation and distribution of support-focused surveys of our users
• Assist with onboarding and provide escalation support should demand require outsourcing to service vendors or contractors
• Assist Customer Service Engineer (Coordinator) on projects and work areas defined by the Head of Product and Technology
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film.

General Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent customer relationship and service management skills

The Events Co-ordinator has a pivotal role in coordinating and executing various events and initiatives to support the Charity’s objectives. This position demands meticulous planning, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage event logistics effectively.They will work as part of the Events Logistics Team, supporting the senior members of the team, and work with and manage a number of both internal and external stakeholders. 

The Events Co-ordinator will work closely with the Head of Events and colleagues across the team to support the delivery of both the Events Logistics and wider Fundraising Team strategic plan, including: 

• Event Planning: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to plan, organize, and execute a diverse and often complex range of events including Sponsored Walks and Challenge events such as Abseils, Charity Galas, Stewardship/Cultivation events and a range of charity engagement events.

• Events Logistics Management: Coordinate all logistical aspects of events (venue booking, supplier co-ordination, transportation, accommodation, catering, equipment, and staffing requirements); and liaising and negotiating with external stakeholders to ensure our charitable ROI target is achieved. • Budget Oversight: To ensure events are delivered in line with specific delegated expenditure budget, and achieve the key objectives established at outset.Develops, manages and tracks delegated budget for own events with input into the overall budget across the year, to assist the Head of Events with budget planning, cost estimation, ensuring events are executed within the allocated financial parameters.

• Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers, ensuring their roles and responsibilities are clear and well-coordinated during events. 

• Event Evaluation: Supports, facilitates and monitors progress of each event and initiates and supports performance improvement.Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event, collect feedback, and implement improvements for future initiatives.

A chartered professional membership body has a contract opportunity available that is likely to extend, initially up to May 2027. for a Volunteer Coordinator or Events professional to join them to help support their professional volunteer networks with excellent customer service, administration and events coordination. Job Title:                        Farm Rescue Lead

Reporting To:                Supply Lead

Salary Range:               £29,000 - £31,000 (Dependent on experience)

Contract Type:             2–4 month contract, dependent on circumstances/availability.

Location:                      Felix Farms in Kent with occasional travel to Felix’s sites in London (Deptford, Enfield, Poplar, Acton, Western International Market, New Spitalfields Market, Canary Wharf, Old Street.)

Hours/Days per week:  37.5 hours per week, 8am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday.

About The Felix Project 

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, all of whom are working within communities across London to feed people experiencing hunger.

Purpose of the Job 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that the charity is successful in achieving its objective to rescue and secure a growing supply of surplus food direct from farms, helping us to meet our ambitious future meal targets to feed those in need. You will take a lead role in maintaining relations with the farms and managing large groups of corporate volunteers who change day to day. You will be the First Aid point of contact, provide support with resource planning, daily reporting and measurement. You will also work with the Felix media team to capture photos, case studies and other activities. This is a hands-on role that requires being on your feet and frequent manual handling and is 100% outdoor based regardless of weather.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Your normal duties and responsibilities will be set out in your job description. However, the charity may require you to perform other duties from time to time. 

• Initial set up 8:00am at orchard site each day 
• Carry out Dynamic Risk Assessment each morning
• Meet, greet and check in volunteers on arrival
• Support volunteers with way finding from train station to farm
• Introduction and H&S briefings for volunteers
• Manage all aspects of picking, stacking, loading of fruit
• Arrange lunch and refreshments for volunteers
• Liaise with farmer/on-site contact day-to-day
• Liaise with Haulier to arrange collections and deliveries 
• Liaise with the depot teams regarding deliveries
• Lead & support where necessary on all farm outreach activity
• Any other duties as directed by line management

About the role

The Doncaster Therapeutic Service is based within therapeutic services in the Resettlement Team in South Yorkshire. The Resettlement team provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies, the Refugee Council Resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.

The Psychological Therapist role is designed to provide one-to-one psychological therapy to resettled refugees presenting with mental distress. We have adopted a psychosocial perspective and use a specially tailored care model to address the needs of our clients. The team have supported resettled adult refugees in South Yorkshire by providing short-term one-to-one therapeutic support since September 2017.

Contract and hours: Fixed term, part-time, 7 hours per week.
