Your role will be to deliver a range of employability programmes and recruitment activities that support young people into careers within the health and social care sector. You will work closely with employers, training providers, and community partners to create pathways into employment while providing tailored guidance and support to participants.

Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of young people, providing one-to-one coaching, action planning, and ongoing support to help them achieve positive employment outcomes into the health and social care sector. Alongside this you will also build and maintain strong partnerships with health and social care employers, training providers, and local stakeholders to identify opportunities for participants. 

You’ll also be keeping meticulous records of information and data on our young people, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey is accurately reflected in our systems so that it complies with our funding contracts.

About the role:

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and see the direct impact of your work on people experiencing homelessness across London. As our first Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Fundraising to bring our new strategy to life, shaping how we engage major donors and grow a powerful community of supporters who are motivated to stand alongside Single Homeless Project (SHP) and our clients. Every relationship you build and every gift you secure will help create real opportunities for our clients to move away from homelessness and towards safety, stability and independence.

You will take the lead in developing and managing meaningful relationships with major donors, creating thoughtful and engaging journeys that bring them closer to our work and the difference it makes day to day. Alongside nurturing existing supporters, you will identify and secure new funding opportunities, building a strong and sustainable pipeline of donors and driving forward this new area of income generation within the team. Working collaboratively across SHP, you will connect philanthropists with our services in a way that feels personal, impactful and rooted in the realities of our work, while contributing to the wider fundraising targets that enable us to keep delivering life changing support.

Hybrid working for us means a mix of in office working in Kings Cross and home working. Currently two days in the office (usually Wednesday and Friday) with the rest from home.

• You have experience building relationships with donors, supporters or partners, and know how to turn those relationships into meaningful income or long term support.
• You’re a confident communicator, able to bring a cause to life through conversations and written content that genuinely connects people to impact.

Main purpose

The Head of People leads Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE)'s HR team directing and overseeing all staff-related activity and holding responsibility for developing and delivering the charity’s People Strategy. The role is a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT). 

Working alongside SLT in an advisory and partnering capacity, the Head of People helps ensure organisational decisions are informed by workforce insight and that CSE has the people, capability and culture needed to deliver its strategic objectives. The role works with line managers across the organisation to build people management capability and ensure that wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion, and people-related legal and policy requirements are consistently applied. 

The role spans the full breadth of the People function, including strategic business partnering, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, wellbeing, EDI, people operations and digital transformation. The Head of People leads and develops the HR team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, proactive and people-centred service while building on the good practice that already exists within the charity and driving continuous improvement for the benefit of the charity and its employees. 

As the senior People professional at CSE, the role balances strategic leadership with practical operational delivery across the full breadth of the People function, requiring the successful candidate to move confidently between strategic thinking and hands-on implementation. The Head of People provides expert advice on complex people matters, develops and implements people policies, frameworks and processes, supports organisational change and improvement, and translates organisational priorities, values and culture into practical people initiatives that support both staff and the wider organisation. 

This role is likely to appeal to someone who enjoys building, improving and embedding great people practice and who is comfortable balancing strategic leadership with operational delivery across a broad and varied remit. Cranstoun is an independent charity and leading provider of specialist treatment, harm reduction and recovery services to those affected by drug and alcohol use. This is an exciting opportunity to become a Key Worker within our high performing psychosocial drug and alcohol service in HMP Birmingham. 

We provide a range of services for those affected by drugs and alcohol. Our skilled and compassionate team work closely with people who use our services to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide. 

You will be based in our psychosocial team working with adult males (over 18 years old). You will be responsible for delivering a range of elements of our substance use work including case management, assessments, care planning, the delivery of one-to-one interventions to include harm reduction and motivational work, group work, and engagement support as well as other associated duties. You need to be committed to supporting people who use our services to make positive changes to prepare them for release into the community, and you will arrange continuity of care. You will work in collaboration with the clinical team and integrated working is a key element of this role. You will work within the prison setting and contribute towards the wider prison drug strategy.

Having experience of supporting people with complex health needs including substance use, you will bring knowledge and commitment to deliver drug and alcohol treatment. You will have a non-judgemental attitude and a desire to support the lives of people who use our services to be healthier and safer by delivering a high-quality service. 

Experience of working with drug and alcohol use is essential. You will be a competent communicator, with the ability to work independently and be comfortable and enthusiastic, both with the highlighted client group and working in partnership with other service providers. Previous experience or knowledge of working with individuals on opiate replacement treatment, and/or involved in the criminal justice system will be advantageous.

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is the only community wealth building charity dedicated to supporting Britain’s former coalfield communities. About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in Bethnal Green, Isle of Dogs or Stepney and Wapping areas, working 35 hours per week. This IPS services at Working Well Trust has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, and showcase the advantages of our service in order to work with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.

What you’ll be doing

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.

You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.  

You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Tower Hamlets to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.

You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service. 

What you’ll need

Experience in employment support is not essential. We are looking for someone who brings:

• A genuine desire to support people into meaningful employment.
• Commitment to person-centred work and either experience of or enthusiasm to learn the IPS approach.
• Confidence engaging with employers and promoting the benefits of our service.
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

About the Role

As Resident Support Manager (Nights), you'll lead our Out of Hours Team, creating a culture that is welcoming, caring, transparent and resident-focused.

You'll ensure residents receive high-quality support outside normal office hours, responding to safeguarding concerns, wellbeing issues, crises and challenging behaviour with professionalism, empathy and sound judgement.

Alongside supporting residents, you'll coach and develop your team, ensuring they have the confidence, training and support to deliver exceptional services safely and consistently.

You'll also work closely with the daytime Resident Support Team to ensure seamless communication, continuity of support and a consistent experience for every resident.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Out of Hours Resident Support Team.
• Create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for all residents.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns, incidents and emergencies.
• Support residents experiencing mental health crises or emotional distress.
• Manage challenging behaviour using trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.

• Coach, develop and support team members through regular supervision.
• Deliver training, guidance and continuous development for the Out of Hours Team.
• Work collaboratively with the daytime teams and external agencies.

About You

• Experience working with vulnerable adults or young people in supported housing, homelessness, social care or a similar environment.

Experience supporting care leavers or young people experiencing homelessness would be advantageous.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position working on a rota basis.

The role includes:

• Four evening shifts each week between 5:00pm and 1:00am
• Weekend and Bank Holiday working on a rota
• Daytime working to support team meetings, supervision, training and collaboration with the wider Resident Support Team
• Occasional travel to our MK site

Working Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some evenings and weekend work

The Role

Our Individual Giving programme is central to our fundraising strategy to increase our unrestricted, sustainable income. This is a key role in supporting the Individual Giving Manager to recruit and steward donors across a range of channels including face-to-face, telemarketing, direct mail and digital. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple programmes including regular giving, lottery, cash appeals, in-memory and legacy, as well as to play a key role in our matched funding Christmas campaign. This role will help to meet or exceed our annual targets which will help us provide the best care for patients, staff and loved ones at our hospitals. 

Key Tasks 

• Help to co-ordinate our match funded Christmas Campaign 
• Using evidence-based insights, support with the planning and implementation of several integrated direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social, display advertising and newsletters including managing suppliers on concept creation, oversight of copy and creative and delivery schedules. Work with the IG Manager on performance analysis and learnings to enable enhancements and improvements  
• Support the IG Manager in the set up and operational management of our face-to-face fundraising campaigns for regular donor and lottery player recruitment. Including invoice processing, complaint handling, site management and training for third party fundraising teams  
• Work with the other IG Officer to optimise and improve our regular giving and lottery stewardship journeys. This will include researching and proofing content, engaging with supporters and looking for opportunities to cross-sell 
• Being proactive in writing up process documents and maintaining documents for Individual Giving Team  
• Day-to-day point of contact with external agencies including face-to-face agencies, creative agencies, printers and fulfilment houses  
• To support the Head of Supporter Engagement with the development of a legacy marketing programme 
• Support with the stewardship of our in-memory donors, including donors who set up tribute pages on MuchLoved 
• Work with hospital staff and stakeholders to gather content, encourage fundraising and manage our contactless stations  
• Work with our Supporter Services Team to monitor and action all feedback, speaking with supporters over the phone and via email, and properly recording supporter interactions on our database 
• Work with the Fundraising Operations team to open fundraising post and log cash, card and cheque donations 
• Send out stewardship materials to supporters from the office 
• Support the C&E Manager with fundraising event and donor stewardship as required 
• Work with the Communications Team to develop internal messaging for the Charity and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust  
• Work with the Finance Team to process invoices and ensure activities are properly coded

Senior Surveyor – Property Services

Location: Southgate, London

We are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join an established Property Services team, leading the delivery of high-quality responsive repairs across the housing portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong surveyor with experience in social housing to play a key role in supporting a team of Surveyors, driving service improvements, resolving complex repair issues and ensuring residents receive an outstanding customer experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Property Manager, you will provide technical leadership and support to the Responsive Repairs team, ensuring repairs are accurately diagnosed, delivered within agreed timescales and completed to a high standard.

You will work closely with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to manage complex repair cases, disrepair matters and building defects while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical guidance to Surveyors on complex repairs, building defects and diagnostic solutions.

• Supporting and developing the Responsive Repairs team to deliver a consistent, customer-focused service.

• Managing contractor performance and building effective working relationships to improve service delivery and value for money.

• Monitoring Surveyor workloads, productivity and repair quality to ensure performance targets are achieved.

• Using the NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR), basket rates and technical knowledge to accurately scope and validate repairs.

• Assisting with complaint resolution, disrepair cases and complex building issues.

• Producing regular performance reports and identifying trends to drive continuous service improvement.

• Managing expenditure within agreed budgets and ensuring works are referred appropriately between responsive and planned maintenance teams.

• Promoting compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and organisational policies.

• Participating in the Out of Hours rota when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines excellent technical knowledge with strong leadership and communication skills.

You will have:

• Proven experience managing or mentoring a surveying team within a responsive repairs or property maintenance environment.

• A strong background in diagnosing complex building defects and delivering responsive repairs within social housing.

• Experience using the NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR), basket rates and repair specifications.

• Sound knowledge of damp and mould diagnostics, building pathology and housing repairs.
