We have a great opportunity for a Database Officer reporting to a Senior Data Lead, working for a nationally recognised youth charity.

As Database Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day management, maintenance and development of the charity’s CRM and organisational databases, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics. Working closely with teams across fundraising, finance and central services, you will ensure that data is accurate, well structured and fit for purpose.
You will support data imports and exports, troubleshoot user issues, help configure entities, workflows and reports within Dynamics, and assist with data cleansing and quality checks.
To be successful as the Database Officer you will need:

• Strong experience using Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience working with databases or CRM systems
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supporter email campaigns, including analysis and optimisation of engagement strategies
• Develop and oversee warm/retention stewardship and appeal mailings, ensuring timely delivery and data accuracy
• Coordinate supporter journey activities and contribute to the planning of supporter newsletters
• Utilise design tools such as InDesign and Canva to create compelling content for mailings and digital communications
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support supporter retention and growth efforts
• Ensure all communications align with organisational branding and fundraising goals
• Assist in the transition and delivery of short-term activities while preparing for the eventual permanent role

Person Specification:

• Experience in supporter communications, particularly emails, newsletters, and stewardship campaigns

• Rate: £158.10 basic + £23.72 holiday pay

The successful candidate will lead strategic external communications, enhancing organisational reputation through media relations, content creation, and stakeholder engagement, supporting the organisation’s broader objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and assess communications and media strategies aligned with institutional goals.
• Manage the organisation’s written brand voice across all external channels, ensuring consistency.
• Create high-quality content including publications, press releases, blogs, and social media updates.
• Support marketing efforts by producing course and organisational information for website and print materials.
