About the role:

This is a substantive management role with real ownership, and meaningful variety - ideal for an experienced operations professional with a sound understanding of Microsoft Administration and cyber security ready to take on a broad remit in a values-driven organisation.

Job Purpose
Grandmentors Wolverhampton is a well-established and successful project that has been connecting mature volunteers with care experienced young people since 2019. As Project Coordinator, you will lead the core programme while heading up our brand new ‘Through the Gates’ pilot, which provides vital support for young people transitioning from custody back into the community. · Project Coordination: Lead the day-to-day delivery of Grandmentors in Wolverhampton, ensuring the project meets match targets for both the core service and the new pilot.

This is a rare opportunity for a strategic, values-led relationship fundraiser to lead on income generation for Maytree, a unique and internationally respected charity offering life-saving sanctuary to people in suicidal crisis.
Fundraising Lead
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum pro rata
Contract: Permanent, Part-time (3-4 days per week, 0.6-0.8 FTE)
Location: Hybrid working with regular presence at Maytree in London
Additional: Occasional evening meetings and donor events

About the role
This is a senior, strategic and highly relational fundraising role. Working closely with the Managing Director and Trustees, the Fundraising Lead will develop and deliver an ambitious, multi-stream fundraising strategy to secure Maytree's long-term future.
You will lead income generation across trusts and foundations, major donors and philanthropy, alongside ethically grounded individual giving. This role offers real autonomy, senior-level influence and the opportunity to fundraise in a values-led, emotionally intelligent way.

Bring the ocean’s story to life
We’re working for a cleaner, better-protected, healthier ocean. To achieve this, we build and sustain strong, high-value and long-term partnerships with key environmental funders and other grant makers to fund our projects that are central to our overall strategic goals and aims.
We have a new role of Trusts & Grants Manager to develop relationships with key environmental funders. You’ll contribute meaningfully to the current Trusts and Grants annual income of circa £2.8m, whilst developing high level opportunities to drive income growth and impact in future years. You’ll need to have a strong knowledge of the UK trusts and grants sector, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with partnerships. If you’ve got a proven track record in developing compelling funding proposals for complex projects, helping to shape and focus project plans and budgets, stewarding relationships with trust and grant donors and a passion for protecting our ocean, we’d love to hear from you.
