The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive the very best care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.

As the new Challenge Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing The Passage's Challenge Events Fundraising strategy, designed to inspire and engage both existing and new supporters, ultimately building a stable and sustainable income pipeline.

About the Role:
This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills to maintain and nurture mutually beneficial strategic alliances to enhance Urban Synergy’s capacity and reach. Who we are looking for:
Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector.

- Working closely with the fundraising teams, you will be responsible for supporter care and the development and implementation of long-term supporter experience across the directorate.
- You will ensure the provision of excellent customer service to all supporters across multiple fundraising activities and overseeing the Supporter Care vision and direction of the team.
- You will be able to optimise the tools we have to enhance supporter care as we bring on our new Salesforce CRM database alongside Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Make sure our processes are making the most of the latest functionality to streamline ways of working and improve the experience for our supporters.
- You will work closely with teams across including community & events, individual giving and legacy marketing and will have excellent leadership skills to develop your team, working collaboratively across the organisation.

- You will have good experience of leading a successful supporter care team that has improved supporter care in a previous role.
- You will have an excellent knowledge of how to improve supporter experience and measure this through KPIs.

The Events and Community Manager for our Mass Fundraising Team will focus and lead on:
1. New product development and innovation
2. Creating marketing plans to inspire and motive supporters to engage with RNID

You will be responsible for managing the events and community portfolio at RNID, constantly reviewing and optimising products whilst thinking of new ways to attract supporters to our cause.
You will:
1. Work with the Head of Mass Fundraising to develop and deliver the events and community fundraising strategy, and to budget and report on income and expenditure
2. Lead on the delivery of our third-party challenge events
3. Lead on new product development for events and community products
