What is the role?
Reporting to the Director of People, you will lead the development and delivery of our Learning and Development strategy, ensuring it aligns with our organisational priorities and values.
You will:
· Lead learning, education and organisational development initiatives across the hospice.
· Develop leadership and management capability at all levels.
· Oversee mandatory training, compliance and workforce development programmes.
· Work closely with clinical leaders to support education, competency development and best practice.
· Drive a culture of continuous learning, engagement and improvement.
· Build strong partnerships with external organisations, including healthcare and education providers.
· Lead and develop a passionate and dedicated Learning and Development team.

The Role
A highly valued role in the Secretariat Team of the Oxford Diocesan Board of Finance (ODBF) has become available due to the portfolio growth of the existing postholder.
This is an important role which combines high quality General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) advice and collegiate support, policy and practice development and hands-on case management, such as undertaking Subject Access Requests (SARs).
You will directly support ODBF staff, including training and response to queries and proactive advice and support to area teams (bishops, archdeacons and their teams) and parishes. The role provides an excellent opportunity for varied work, especially for someone who enjoys the full breadth and depth of data protection work.
Although there is no direct line management responsibility, the role requires working well in a team, supporting others with confidence in your personal decision-making. This is a home-based role with hybrid working, and applicants must be based in the region and able to travel to deliver a blend of online and face-to-face sessions. For Baby’s Sake is an innovative, therapeutic, trauma-informed programme that works to break the cycle of domestic abuse, starting in pregnancy, to give babies the best possible start in life. We work individually with co-parents, keeping the baby at the centre, and using a therapeutic, recovery-focused framework to address the impact of domestic abuse with care, compassion, and respect. The programme supports parents to explore unresolved and often complex childhood trauma, change harmful patterns of behaviour, and create a home environment in which children can thrive. Our attachment-focused parenting approach helps babies and children feel safe, secure, and connected with parents who are emotionally available and attuned to their needs.
The programme begins during pregnancy, when motivation for change can be strongest. Both parents must want to co-parent their unborn baby, although they do not need to be in a relationship with one another. We can work with families until their baby reaches the age of two, reflecting the importance of this period in child development research.
The For Baby’s Sake Trust multi-disciplinary team is made up of trained therapeutic practitioners who build trusting, respectful relationships and create conditions for meaningful therapeutic change. This work supports co-parents to understand the impact of their own early experiences on their parenting and relationships, and to move towards safer, healthier family lives. The Foundation for Jewish Heritage is the UK’s only dedicated organisation focused on preserving and activating Jewish built heritage as a catalyst for education, culture, memory and community renewal.
Over the past decade, the Foundation has grown from a small specialist charity into a recognised leader in the field of Jewish built heritage. It has secured major support for nationally significant projects, including a £6 million flagship heritage project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Welsh Government, Garfield Weston, Wolfson and Rothschild.
The Foundation is now entering an important new phase. Alongside major project delivery, it is taking on a wider UK role, supporting communities and historic synagogues across the country, including places such as Liverpool, Bradford, Leicester, Brighton and Merthyr Tydfil. It is also developing European partnerships, particularly in countries such as Poland and Germany, and strengthening relationships with North American and Canadian supporters.
The Foundation’s work is about more than saving buildings. Historic synagogues and heritage sites are gateways into the stories of Jewish life, identity, migration, civic contribution and cultural memory. They offer a powerful way of engaging Jewish and wider audiences with the richness and complexity of Jewish history in Britain and across Europe.
The Foundation has reached a point where its fundraising structure needs to match the scale of its ambition.
Until now, much of the fundraising has been led directly by the Chief Executive, supported by trustees, consultants and external bid writers. This has delivered significant success, particularly around major heritage projects and institutional funders. However, the organisation now needs a more structured, proactive and relationship-led fundraising function.
The Head of Development will work closely with the Chief Executive, trustees and a new Fundraising Committee to broaden the donor base, strengthen major relationships, develop new income streams, and ensure that the Foundation is no longer dependent on a small number of individuals or on the Chief Executive holding most fundraising relationships personally.
This is not simply a fundraising support post. It is a strategic development role for someone who can combine relationship building, major donor fundraising, compelling written communication, careful stewardship and long-term pipeline management.

This role will focus on engaging fathers who may be less likely to access traditional services, including through outreach, hospital-based engagement, family hub delivery, one-to-one support and home visiting. You will build and manage a targeted caseload aligned to family hubs and areas of highest need and bring specialist knowledge of father engagement whilst contributing to the ongoing development of Dad Matters practice across the organisation.
This role requires flexibility, including regular out-of-hours work, to ensure fathers can access support at times and in places that work for them.

About the role
Our adviser teams work within local areas providing a wide range of expert information and guidance, via a variety of channels including community settings. You’ll provide a personalised service that enables appropriate levels of self-advocacy and/ or advocate on behalf of clients, signposting to other services as relevant.
You’ll empower people affected by Parkinson’s, their families and carers to live lives that are as fulfilling as possible and to take an active role in their treatment becoming their own advocate in health and life, wherever possible.
This post is part of a newly funded project to reach out to more people affected by Parkinson’s, testing new ways of working in the local area.
What you’ll do:
Provide in depth, person-centred information and guidance to clients by a range of means, including community settings, and ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources in line with service policy
Recognise and respond to potential safeguarding situations using established procedures
Provide information on a variety of health and social care issues, including appropriate emotional support, employment and welfare benefits guidance and advocating with and on behalf of clients
Maintain relationships and partnerships with internal and external teams and in a range of settings and ways to achieve the best outcomes of clients
Keep up to date with organisational and professional development relevant to your role
What you’ll bring:
Background and/or current experience in health and social care
Experience of supporting and empowering people with problem solving, navigating the health and social care system and participating in their own care
Experience managing a complex caseload effectively and efficiently
Ability to be calm and deal effectively with challenging or emotional situations and/or people
Demonstrable digital competence, with experience of effective use of a range of tools including online case management systems or similar
In depth understanding of Parkinson’s, relevant issues and legislation, in particular in connection with health and social care and welfare benefits

About the role
We're looking for a proactive, organised and relationship-focused Partnership Officer to join our growing Brand & Corporate Partnerships team.
Working closely with and supported by the Head of Brand & Corporate Partnerships, you will play a vital role in identifying and securing new brand partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, and helping to deliver ambitious income and impact targets.
Our partners range from emerging challenger brands to nationally recognised businesses like Boots UK. They support our work through financial contributions, product donations, employee fundraising, volunteering, awareness campaigns and skills-based support.
You'll be at the heart of these relationships, helping partners understand the difference they can make and ensuring they have an outstanding experience of supporting The Hygiene Bank.
This role would suit someone with experience in partnerships, business development, fundraising, account management or sales who is excited by the prospect of combining commercial relationship-building with meaningful social impact.
Job Description
The Partnership Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation team and wider central team, with a responsibility to help meet the needs of our existing partnerships and support in fulfilling the charity’s income generation plans and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the management of our brand partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships. Your role will be to source new brand relationships, set up meetings for the team and support existing brand partnerships.
Work closely with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships to identify and outreach to target brand partners, working to engage their support for the charity
Account management of new and existing partners
Meticulous record keeping, ensuring the pipeline and the opportunity database are current and up to date.
Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, and budgets.
Develop, monitor, and maintain systems and processes including Salesforce and account management plans.
Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and partner impact reports.
Understand and support the vision, mission, and values of The Hygiene Bank.
