About the role

As Senior Marketing Officer, you'll work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to plan and deliver campaigns across our Third-Party Events and relationship fundraising portfolio. Brief Role Description:

About This Vacancy
We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our International Programmes Team on a permanent basis, working within our Asia region.
Overview
The Project Officer will be part of a regional team that works with new and existing partners to design, deliver and learn from projects in line with the organisation’s mission. The team supports the full project cycle: partner engagement, application review, due diligence, project design, contracting, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation and project closure, maintaining accurate records throughout, in close collaboration with the Quality Team (Director and Quality Assurance and Impact (MEAL) Specialists).
The Project Officer will work collaboratively across the regional team, providing flexible support and surge capacity during peak periods and responding to emerging priorities as required. North Wales Community Law is a young and ambitious charity with a simple vision: that everyone in North Wales should have access to the legal advice they need to uphold their rights, challenge injustice and improve their lives.
Since opening in 2023, we’ve established a housing legal aid service, developed strong partnerships across Wales and the UK, and built a growing reputation for high-quality, community-based legal advice.
We’re now looking for an experienced charity leader to work alongside our Board of Trustees to lead the next phase of our development.
This is a varied role combining strategic leadership, governance, fundraising, partnership development and organisational management. You’ll work with a committed team, an engaged Board and a wide range of partners to build a financially sustainable organisation that delivers lasting impact for communities across North Wales.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced charity leader to provide strategic and operational leadership to North Wales Community Law. Working closely with an ambitious Board of Trustees, you will lead the organisation through its next phase of development, ensuring financial sustainability, strong governance and high-quality legal services while building partnerships and growing our impact across North Wales.

The Senior Legal Counsel is the first port of call for colleagues putting together and advising on new legal arrangements and documenting our leading health partnerships and fundraising activities. The Senior Legal Counsel works with the Foundation’s Legal team in providing legal advice and guidance for the Foundation’s innovative, impact-led programmes and activities, supporting our fundraising team alongside our fundraising compliance manager, and our work with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Strategic Planning & Income Growth
• Develop and implement the challenge events plan and priorities, aligned with the wider events strategy, in partnership with line manager.
• Forecast income,monitor performance, and drive year-on-year growth across the challenge events portfolio.
Event Management
• Lead on the delivery of third-party challenge events (e.g., runs, cycles, treks) and bespoke challenge activities.
• Manage all operational aspects including event logistics, supplier liaison, risk assessments, and compliance.
Supporter Recruitment & Stewardship
• Create and implement supporter recruitment plans using digital marketing, partnerships, and community outreach.

Marketing & Communications
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, event webpages, and social content.
• Work with marketing colleagues to produce compelling fundraising resources, toolkits, and participant communications.
Data, Finance & Reporting
• Support the transition to new CRM system and ongoing systems working to enable:
- Maintain accurate event records, participant data, and financial tracking.
- Use CRM systems to analyse performance, monitor KPIs, and produce regular reports.
Collaboration & Leadership
• Manage relationships with event organisers, agencies, and suppliers.
• Support and guide colleagues and volunteers during key events, providing informal leadership as required.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
• Proven experience in challenge events, mass participation, or fundraising event management
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Understanding of effective stewardship tactics to maximise income and deepen engagement with participants
• Proven experience of budgeting and project planning
• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends for event delivery.
Desirable
• Experience within the charity or non-profit sector.
• Understanding of digital marketing for supporter recruitment.
• Experience of working with and managing volunteers
