About the role
The engagement directorate is responsible for growing awareness, trust and engagement with Breast Cancer Now - so more people get support and give support. It leads the £47m we raise annually today and our ambition to grow this to £69m by 2029/30, alongside a new £60m Campaign.
At the heart of this is a focus on relationships - using data and insight to create meaningful experiences that inspire people to give their time, money and voice. Within this, the insight & experience function sits in the high value intelligence & experience team, supporting our high value partnerships and campaign ambitions. With a focus on more holistic, supporter-led engagement, this role will help strengthen how we understand, engage and inspire high value supporters.
Working closely with the senior high value insight & experience manager, the high value insight & experience manager will help develop a consistent approach to gathering and using insight, shaping engagement across both everyday activity and campaign delivery. The role will collaborate across teams to ensure supporter-facing activity is aligned, high quality and insight-led.
The high value insight & experience manager will play a hands-on role in delivering cultivation, stewardship and recognition activity - supporting events, experiences, communications and key supporter touchpoints. This includes developing a strong suite of engagement opportunities for high value audiences and helping ensure supporters feel valued, recognised and connected to the impact of their support.

What you'll do:
- Ensure all live and test application environments are maintained in compliance with Look Ahead's IT policies and guidelines to meet business needs by working with colleagues and the Business Systems Manager to manage system security and coordinate system changes, patch installations, database copies and upgrades, as applicable.
- Provide application configuration, support, and administration for Nourish (Care plans) and Camascope (eMARS), and cover for other key business systems including MHR's iTrent (Recruitment, HR & Payroll), Cx (Housing Management & Customer Support Plans), OnTrack (Domestic Abuse) and any other applications and products being deployed through the Digital Transformation programme.
- Act as the subject matter expert and coordination point for Nourish and Camascope specific support activities, including updating support tickets and associated details and responses via the ticketing system.
- Manage ticket and incident escalations, as appropriate.
- Support the application owners, business users and team members with the building and running of reports from Nourish and Camascope when required for urgent organisation needs, such as regulator requirements or responding to serious incidents.

JOB PURPOSE
The postholder is responsible for securing, managing, and growing commercial partnerships with organisations that support AdviceUK’s mission, values and strategic priorities. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Partnership development
Identify, research, and secure new commercial and corporate partnership opportunities aligned with AdviceUK’s strategic and income generation priorities.
Identify and develop new products and services that benefit members, grow income, and support member recruitment and retention.
Shape new products and services with user and sector insight, applying structured approaches to testing, evaluation and scaling. Ensure that pricing, return on investment and other financial modelling is completed to demonstrate how new products or services deliver agreed objectives.
Bring external market insight into AdviceUK’s strategic planning and decision making, ensuring that commercial partnership propositions are clearly differentiated in the markets they are targeting.
Work with the Head of Membership and Services, other colleagues at AdviceUK, and AdviceUK’s existing commercial partners to develop a commercial partnership strategy, business plan and pipeline.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions in partnership with the Head of Membership and Services, Finance and where relevant, AdviceUK commercial partners and subsidiaries.
Ensure all partnerships align with the charity’s mission, values and ethical standards.
Carry out appropriate due diligence and risk assessments on commercial partners
2. Partnership management and growth
Act as the primary relationship manager for AdviceUK’s current commercial partners and subsidiaries to ensure they feel valued, informed, and engaged throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Maximise the value of established partnerships through renewals, extensions, upselling opportunities, and agreed new income generation activity. Support cross‑team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Identify opportunities for innovation and growth within AdviceUK’s commercial partnerships portfolio.
Support the communication of impact to partners, including reporting on outcomes enabled by their support.
Represent AdviceUK at events, conferences and networks relevant to the commercial partnerships portfolio.
3. Income generation and performance
Ensure all partnerships deliver against agreed financial and non‑financial objectives. Contribute to departmental budgeting and forecasting.
Monitor partnership performance and provide accurate reporting on partnership income, engagement, and impact.
Contribute to the ongoing review of existing commercial partnerships and service level agreements, making recommendations for change as required.
Share learning, insight, and good practice to continually improve commercial partnership approaches.
Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House guidance, relevant fundraising regulations, and internal governance policies.
Work closely with AdviceUK colleagues to deliver integrated partnership activities.
4. Data and evidence
Support the delivery of performance reports as required to evidence the extent to which commercial partnerships are achieving required KPIs.
Work with colleagues to ensure that partnership datasets are accurate, timely and support decision making.
Ensure any partnership activity that requires data sharing adheres to data protection and cybersecurity requirements.

Equal Education is a social enterprise working to improve outcomes and narrow the attainment gap for disadvantaged and vulnerable learners, including Children Looked After, those with SEND, and unaccompanied asylum seeking children. We have over 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of Schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually.
As a member of the Fair Education Alliance, we believe in providing meaningful educational provision to students whose needs may not be best met within a traditional classroom environment, those who aren’t currently accessing education, or who benefit from additional 1:1 support. What is the Role?
In this role, you will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management
Proactively seek new business opportunities within assigned regions to grow the client base.

Participate in client and industry events to represent the organisation, expand networks, and identify new business opportunities.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor client engagement, satisfaction levels, and service outcomes; produce regular progress reports for management.
Oversee tracking and analysis of client-related statistics to ensure targets are met and clients receive impactful, value-driven service.
Manage and track client data and prospect pipelines using CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
Report to the the Partnerships Director on accounts, Tenders, Bids, client meetings on a regular basis.
Be curious to explore our Salesforce system data, understanding and interpreting delivery and impact data.
Line Management and Support Coordination
Lead, mentor, and manage junior member(s) of the team focused on bid/application writing, tender management, and client-related administration.
Support junior member(s) in producing and reviewing high-quality application documents and responses that align with client requirements and enhance our partnership outcomes.
Provide oversight to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently, supporting smooth client interactions and consistent follow-through.
Work with other area leaders, to ensure strong delivery of services.
Contribute to, and foster strong internal working relationships to successfully delivery against strategy and objectives..
Bid Management and Process Improvement
Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and bid applications, working closely with junior member(s) to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.
Continuously review and improve internal processes to optimise bid management, client onboarding, and service delivery.
Report on bid submission performance, review bidfeedback to continuously improve.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Detailed knowledge of the UK education sector.
Experience working in the education sector or with local authorities, particularly in roles involving SEND or children’s services.
Proven track record in client relationship management, with experience in sales or partnership development roles.
Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face and telephone interactions, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-lasting relationships.
Experience managing a small team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-performance standards.
High level of empathy and commitment to supporting vulnerable and underserved communities.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet both short- and long-term deadlines effectively.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking client data, leads, and progress.
Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to address issues independently and provide client-focused solutions.
Able to work in a high pressure environment, whilst taking initiative, we would want the postholder to ask for support when needed.
Desirable:
Exceptional written communication skills, with proven confidence in drafting, editing, and refining persuasive content across a variety of formats.
Experience in bid and tender writing or grant applications is advantageous, though a background in producing compelling written materials for diverse purposes is equally valued.
