About the role
This is a pivotal time to be joining MAP’s dynamic Fundraising and Marketing Team. In the last two years we have raised around £100 million. JOB PURPOSE
This is a pivotal role within The Passage’s Fundraising Team, created to help support the transformation of our supporter data systems and ensure we become a more data informed, insight driven organisation and fundraising team. You will be the main contact for the fundraising CRM working with the fundraising team and other teams within The Passage such as finance and IT to ensure the smooth running of all systems and processes.
As the dedicated data and CRM Manager for Fundraising and Communications, you will support colleagues with reporting, analysis, campaign set-up and selections, and data strategy. Your work will ensure our data is accurate, accessible, and GDPR-compliant, enabling smarter decision-making, improved supporter journeys, and to help grow income. You will also be working with the Marketing and Communications team to implement email soft opt-in for our supporters. MAIN DUTIES
1. Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for the purposes of stewarding donors and maintaining accurate records of donations

Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

Document workflows, integrations and processes to ensure the long-term sustainability and usability of the system for vital processes such as donation processing and gift aid

Work with IT and the fundraising team to evaluate onboard 3rd party platforms to support fundraising initiatives. Ensure any changes are approved with senior stakeholders and documented.

Be a custodian of GDPR within the Fundraising team and be the main point of contact with The Passage’s Data protection lead and ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current fundraising regulations.
2.CRM and Data Management

Work collaboratively with the IT team and procurement team as the fundraising representative to recommend improvements to the current CRM and any other related projects.

Maintain and improve the quality of supporter data through regular cleansing, deduplication, and tagging to ensure accuracy and GDPR compliance.

Ensure ongoing system performance and data integrity by embedding data hygiene routines and best practices.

Work with the Finance team to support integration between the CRM and finance systems for seamless donation and income reporting.

Working with data flows and setting up integrations, ensuring the system runs smoothly on an ongoing basis, making updates, troubleshooting issues whilst maintaining data consistency.

Part-funded by a generous donation from Backstage Trust, this is a new and pivotal role designed to transform Theatre Centre's fundraising capacity by strengthening systems, increasing income diversity, and building long-term financial resilience. The postholder will play a key role in helping the organisation capitalise on its artistic impact and case for support, while building momentum towards its 75th anniversary in 2028.
This role will keep us focused on our development strategy and will have support from across the whole company: the Board, Executive and the core TC team. We have been steadily building our foundations and have some good funding relationships in place, committed individual givers, a strong, evidenced case for support, some incredible stats and feedback and above all an inspiring and exciting programme of work to offer for young people, artists and teachers across the country.
Our Development Manager will help us to bring in resources so that we can continue share our high-quality, specialist work as far as we can. Role Purpose
The Senior Individual Giving Officer is a crucial position within EIA’s Fundraising team, which contributes to the delivery of the individual giving strategy through acquiring and stewarding new supporters, leading our face to face fundraising and mass participation event programmes and legacy marketing and stewardship.

New Supporter Acquisition: Face to Face fundraising
The Senior Individual Giving Officer will lead our new acquisition channel, face to face fundraising, to recruit new regular givers:

- Develop and manage the annual event calendar to ensure there is a broad range of events that are targeted towards EIA supporters
- Responsible for all elements of supporter recruitment and stewardship from developing marketing materials, working with the Social Media and Digital Engagement Manager and the Digital team to recruit new supporters, setting up fundraising pages and stewarding supporters to meet their fundraising targets, through to evaluating performance and applying learnings to future events.
Supporter retention, development, and engagement
The Senior Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and inspiring supporter development activity and supporter journeys for individuals:
- Lead on creating the content and briefing suppliers for the supporter newsletter mailings which are sent out three times a year.
- Plan, implement and evaluate digital and offline supporter-driven supporter journeys from all individual giving audiences, including appeals, face to face, mass digital, regular giving and the weekly lottery
- Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager, Supporter Services Officer and teams across the organisation (including the Communications and Campaign teams) to develop inspiring and targeted content and communications that increase engagement and lifetime value of supporters
- Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring and evaluating the success of supporter journeys
- Along with the Supporter Services Officer, be a key point of contact for supporters, ensuring that all supporters have a positive experience
Legacy Marketing and Stewardship
- Develop and deliver legacy marketing campaigns to acquire new legacy pledgers from our existing supporter base
- Take a key role in the engagement with the Remember a Charity consortium, and lead on the promotion of legacies during Remember a Charity Week
- Work with the Individual Giving Manager and the Communications team to ensure legacy messages are included in all relevant communications including appeals, supporter newsletters and Investigator magazine
- Responsible for all elements of legacy stewardship, from establishing engagement segmentation, to developing and delivering a legacy stewardship programme including bespoke communications, as well as on and offline events and webinars to maximise engagement and commitment from legacy pledgers
- Explore opportunities to recruit legacy pledgers from new audiences
Strategy development, budgeting and campaign reporting
- Work with the Head of Fundraising and Individual Giving Manager to develop fundraising strategy and annual plans
- Monitor income and expenditure of campaigns within your areas to ensure they meet budget and contribute to the mid-year reforecast process
- Produce regular campaign reports that monitor performance against KPIs and feed back to the Head of · of Fundraising and wider organisation to share successes with the EIA team

Duties and key responsibilities
Challenge Event Support
- Provide day-to-day support to the Senior Challenge Events Officer across Sarcoma UK’s challenge events portfolio.
- Act as a point of contact for fundraisers participating in challenge events, responding to enquiries and signposting them to the right support.
- Support the delivery of the London Marathon, including stewardship and the setup of the Running Show and after party.
- Help administer the challenge events process, including registrations, deadlines, record-keeping and post-event evaluations.
- Assist with the organisation of event-day experiences, such as cheer stations and receptions, to support participants and celebrate their achievements.
- Help compile reports and evaluations for events within the challenge event portfolio.
- Support research into new challenge events to help grow the charity’s portfolio.
Communications
- Support the creation of challenge event content for online and offline channels, including the website, working with the Senior Challenge Events Officer and the Communications team.
- Help compile impact messages for fundraisers.
- Help gather fundraising stories, case studies and achievements to share with the Communications team.
Supporter Care
- Provide friendly, gold-standard support to challenge event fundraisers, helping them access the resources they need to maximise their fundraising and stay involved long term.
- Help deliver personalised stewardship journeys to support participants in meeting or exceeding their fundraising targets.
- Respond promptly to fundraising enquiries by post, email and telephone.
- Help ensure fundraisers receive timely recognition, including letters, certificates and impact updates as appropriate.
- Send fundraising materials and packs to supporters.
Administration and Compliance
- Maintain accurate supporter records using Sarcoma UK’s database (Raiser’s Edge).
- Help ensure Gift Aid is captured at every opportunity.
- Help monitor and manage event fundraising stock.
- Work in line with fundraising legislation, including GDPR, risk management, health and safety regulations, and the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Conduct.

- Provide event support, which may involve occasional weekend or evening work.
