We are looking for a new Senior Policy Adviser to join our team at CARE. For 40 years and more, CARE’s Policy Team has worked with parliamentarians to inspire legislation that is good and godly, valuing human life and dignity as infinitely precious. Most recently, though our work on the Online Safety Act, we have helped to protect children and young people from online harm and through the current Crime & Policing Bill, to protect women and girls from the destructive impact of porn.

Our vision is to see politics renewed and lives transformed and we do this by telling God’s better story to a broken world. There are three core activities at CARE:

1. Equipping politicians through a relational approach where we provide well researched briefings and advice.
2. Engaging the church by producing relevant resources on a wide range of topics to serve church leaders and congregations.
3. Empowering future leaders through our highly regarded Leadership Programme.

About the Role

The role majors on enhancing CARE’s policy work and reputation in the public square. This will be achieved through proactive engagement with the UK’s Parliaments, equipping and informing CARE’s supporters, the church and wider public.

Our Senior Policy Adviser will be part of developing, advocating and leading on the formation and pursuit of policy in line with CARE’s objectives and strategy.

The post holder will be responsible, under the Senior Policy Manager, for helping to further CARE’s policy and public affairs objectives in a variety of ways.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Audio-Visual Production Engineer with good organisational skills to help facilitate production in the growing ministries at Holy Trinity Cambridge, working with and reporting to the Senior Worship Pastor. 

HT is a vibrant, evangelical, charismatic Anglican church, with a large and growing church family of all ages and stages. We are situated right at the centre of the city and perfectly placed to reach students and adults alike. We also sense that God is leading us into a new season of being a church for the city and our so heart is to further develop as a discipleship and leadership training hub, to serve and reach our city more, and, in years to come, to explore planting and partnering further afield. 

This is primarily an audio- and team-focused job, but you will be working alongside the Worship Team and other HT ministries to deliver the audio-visual production (including live stream) aspect of the HT worship ministry. In addition to our Sunday services, you’ll deliver AV production for a wide range of events, both inside and outside the church buildings, including weddings and funerals, as well as kids, youth, student, Easter, and Christmas events. Alongside audio set up and mixing bands and voices for the best quality sound possible, both in the room and online, we will draw on your skills to train up and develop volunteers to help deliver these services and events, as well as build systems on our audio equipment that ensure sound is consistent with volunteer operation of audio equipment.

About the Role

As a Nightstop Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for young people facing homelessness—assessing needs, coordinating safe emergency placements, and guiding them toward longer‑term support. In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness. Appalled by the scenes playing out across the capital, a group of people came together to tackle the challenge head on. Led by Cardinal Basil Hume and Mark McGreevy OBE, in 1989 Depaul UK was born.

You will be part of a small energetic and committed team supporting the delivery of Northamptonshire Community Foundation’s philanthropy and income generation ambitions. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will help grow and steward support from individuals, corporate, charitable and statutory donors, with a lead responsibility for a defined portfolio of relationships and initiatives.

Fundraising and relationship building happen across the charity, and you will manage your own portfolio of donors and partners and work with the Chief Executive and wider team to co-ordinate activity, share insight and maximise opportunities for place based philanthropy in Northamptonshire.

You will need confidence, excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and deliver projects as part of a highly collaborative team. You will be comfortable cultivating, stewarding and sometimes soliciting charitable donations yourself, as well as creating opportunities for the Chief Executive to engage with donors and prospective supporters.

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist
organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to
supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to
violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls,
exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and
facing barriers to social protection.
The post holder will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of LAWRS’
policy, advocacy, and communications strategy to tackle the issues affecting migrant women in
the UK labour market, in particular those who are survivors of trafficking and exploitation, and
will work jointly with LAWRS’ policy team and the frontline teams.

About you

We are looking for a passionate fundraiser with keen interest in the charity sector, particularly in humanitarian work. The ideal candidate will have a range of cross-channel experience, ideally in the charity sector and in an Individual Giving team, with a particular focus on retention and engagement activity. About the role

The Senior Individual Giving Executive will play a key part in the delivery of the Individual Giving programme, producing sector-leading comms and campaigns to recruit and retain supporters. You will work closely with the rest of the IG team and the Fundraising and Communications Department to deliver high-quality, data-led campaigns across a range of marketing channels. The role will include campaign delivery, budgeting, strategy and planning, managing relationships with key suppliers and driving continuous campaign improvement.

This role will focus predominantly on retention and engagement activity, with a particular focus on mailings, emails and telemarketing, amongst other channels, though there is flexibility for this to change in the future.
