We're looking for an experienced and motivated fundraiser to build on our strong foundations, develop new opportunities, and help ensure that The Gatehouse can continue providing life-changing support to adults experiencing homelessness, poverty and exclusion. The Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating the charity's day-to-day marketing activity, campaigns and fundraising appeals to support the delivery of the charity's strategic objectives and income targets. 

The post holder will have excellent project management and communication skills, be highly organised and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. They will work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality marketing activity that engages supporters, strengthens both charity brands and drives fundraising performance. 

The role is a 12-month FTC, with the potential to become permanent, and is primarily based at the charity’s head office at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, with the requirement to also occasionally work from Birmingham Women’s Hospital alongside some remote and out of hours working. 

The Senior Marketing Officer plays a key role in delivering successful fundraising products and offline marketing campaigns which increase public awareness of both charities, strengthen brand identity, grow supporter engagement and maximise income.

Your skills and passion will see you: 

Plan, deliver and evaluate day-to-day fundraising campaigns and products alongside the Marketing Manager, maximising reach, supporter engagement, brand advocacy and income generation.

Support the development, delivery and evaluation of major fundraising campaigns and appeals alongside the Marketing Manager, ensuring they maximise engagement, stand out from competitors and drive income. 

• Act as a brand champion for both charities, providing internal and external guidance on brand identity, messaging and the application of brand guidelines across all marketing materials. 
• Drive marketing innovation by collaborating with colleagues across the charity to develop, deliver and evaluate new campaigns and fundraising products, ensuring they meet agreed objectives and attract and retain target audiences.
• Produce and manage creative briefs for external agencies, while overseeing the internal creative briefing process to ensure projects are prioritised, scheduled and delivered on time and within budget. 
• Manage ad hoc design requests using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Canva, ensuring all assets meet brand standards and organisational requirements. 
• Represent Marketing on cross-departmental project groups, ensuring donor stewardship is maximised across campaigns and that all marketing materials are approved in line with brand guidelines, key messages and strategic direction. 
• Work closely with the PR team to develop and maintain a high-quality case study database, ensuring appropriate consent, confidentiality and safeguarding procedures are followed. 
• Analyse marketing performance against agreed KPIs, preparing reports and recommendations to inform future activity and drive continuous improvement. 
• Coordinate supporter surveys and focus groups to gather insight, evaluate marketing effectiveness and inform the development of new fundraising products and campaigns, working collaboratively with the wider Marketing and Communications team.

One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most vulnerable women to help them to heal and thrive. 

One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night outreach service which is a lifeline for women on Bristol’s streets. Our specialist caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live. This is an exciting opportunity to join One25 as we recruit a new Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advisor (IDSVA) to join our specialist case work team. You will be supporting women who street sex work and are at a high risk of domestic and sexual violence. This role is key to coordinating a multi-agency response to women to improve their safety, while providing trauma informed practical and emotional support individually.

• Reporting to the Digital Manager and working closely with business system owners, the Head of Impact and Improvement and IT Managed Service Provider, establishing high quality systems and tools for capturing, organising and using data
• Act the lead for our build on the Salesforce platform, dashboards and reports. Working with service managers, support the design, production, and continuous improvement of this client management system
• Lead the design and delivery of a regular programme of induction and training sessions to build organisational knowledge and capabilities around our data systems

What you'll do:
- Ensure all live and test application environments are maintained in compliance with Look Ahead's IT policies and guidelines to meet business needs by working with colleagues and the Business Systems Manager to manage system security and coordinate system changes, patch installations, database copies and upgrades, as applicable.

- Provide application configuration, support, and administration for Nourish (Care plans) and Camascope (eMARS), and cover for other key business systems including MHR's iTrent (Recruitment, HR & Payroll), Cx (Housing Management & Customer Support Plans), OnTrack (Domestic Abuse) and any other applications and products being deployed through the Digital Transformation programme.

- Act as the subject matter expert and coordination point for Nourish and Camascope specific support activities, including updating support tickets and associated details and responses via the ticketing system.

Middle School Science Teacher - Grade 7 (one-year)

Reports to: the Middle School Principal

Hours: full-time

This role is a one-year fixed-term position to cover a leave of absence.

Overall purpose

The middle school science teacher is responsible for delivering a science curriculum to middle school students in an engaging, stimulating and effective manner, using varied instructional strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to promote inquiry-based learning, in which students work both collaboratively and independently to create new knowledge, share materials, problem-solve and discuss mathematical concepts through hands-on learning activities such as labs, fieldwork and whole class discussions.

Summary of duties

• Teach four sections of science and serve as a Grade 7 advisor, (each section of science meets for 80 min, four times per every eight days and advisory meets every day for 30 min)

• Prepare, coordinate and plan the curriculum with other members of the science department, and liaise with other departments where appropriate

• Exhibit knowledge of current trends, pedagogy, research, and topics of importance in science education by applying it in the classroom and sharing it with teachers on a departmental and school-wide basis

• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress, prepare for parent conferences, grade assessments and complete report cards, etc

• Take responsibility for the safety and well-being of all students, demonstrating strong knowledge of laboratory safety and explicitly teaching safe practices while delivering an engaging and challenging syllabus

For more than ten years, Cambridge Science Centre (CSC) has been sparking curiosity and a love of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) in young people across the East of England.

Job Description

As the Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications activity. Working alongside the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be part of a small, ambitious team that delivers high-quality marketing and communications with creativity, pace and purpose. Your primary focus will be creating engaging content, managing our digital channels and delivering campaigns that increase footfall and raise the profile of Cambridge Science Centre.

This role requires an agile, proactive generalist who enjoys turning ideas into action, taking ownership of everything from social media and web updates to print production, paid promotions and promotional events. Whilst the Marketing & Communications Manager leads longer-term strategic priorities, you'll work together to build the infrastructure that underpins a high-performing function, including asset libraries, streamlined workflows and efficient processes.

Your work will be fundamental to helping more people discover and engage repeatedly with Cambridge Science Centre. Through an audience-focused, data-informed approach, you'll promote our visitor centres in Cambridge and Wisbech, increasing footfall while creating compelling content that inspires families, schools, funders and corporate partners.
