Do you enjoy building relationships that inspire others to bring lasting change? We’re looking for a Christian who is passionate about seeing people released from leprosy in the name of Jesus. If you’re called to mission and want to use your skills to build God’s kingdom here on earth, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for a relational person to nurture a group of major donors, ensuring that they feel valued, informed and inspired. You’ll help people to fulfil their God-given calling to stand with those in need, increasing financial support for people affected by leprosy. You’ll also play a key part in identifying and developing new business opportunities across philanthropic networks and diaspora groups.
It’s a fast-paced role with a high workload, demanding the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on relationship management. You’ll need excellent analytical skills and be able to use data to inform strategy, prioritise opportunities, develop clear action plans and produce clear reporting. Telling emotive stories about the people we support is also vital to this role, so you’ll have an external mentor who will hone your superb writing skills to fundraising perfection. It is likely that you will have had experience in fundraising or a commercial background in a sales or key account management.
You’ll be joining a Christ-centred, fun and supportive team. We have a culture of growing and learning together, providing extensive training in fundraising and international development. We have award winning levels of staff engagement and we’re Charity Times and Third Sector award winners. In addition, you’ll also have exciting opportunities to visit projects overseas.
Today, one person is diagnosed with leprosy every three minutes. It is a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. The physical effects of the disease are brutal, but the social effects are even worse. Severe stigma means that people can be thrown out of their families and communities. Rejected and isolated, they are left with no opportunities and no hope. This is not how God wants people affected by leprosy to live. Our work aims to restore life in all its fullness.
The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with 152 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. We work in nine countries across Africa and Asia.
TLM is a Christian charity, serving people of all faiths and none. You will represent the Mission’s purpose and ethos to external audiences. In this role you will pray with supporters, team members, and people overseas. You’ll also produce Christian communications. There is therefore an occupational requirement for the Senior Partnerships Executive to be a committed Christian.
TLM has a zero-tolerance policy towards any abuse, neglect and exploitation of all people. Successful candidates are expected to understand, sign and comply with all organisational policies, including the Safeguarding Code of Conduct and the Safeguarding Policy. Recruitment to all roles within TLM includes criminal record checks and the collection of relevant references. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences. We are committed to diversity and welcome applications from appropriately qualified people from all sections of the community, who have permission to work in the UK.

We are delighted to share an exciting opportunity to join our Income Generation team in a newly created Legacy & In Memory Fundraising Officer role.
About the Role:
As Legacy and In-Memory Officer, you will work as a key part of the Individual Giving and Legacy team, responsible for the development and implementation of a multi-year Legacy and In-Memory strategy to grow Ty Hafan’s legacy pledger and in memory giving pool.
This is a brand new role focusing on raising awareness about gifts in Wills and in memory giving, both externally to supporters and members of public, and internally to staff and volunteers.
This is a wonderful opportunity to build on an already strong and successful programme; the charity currently receives over £1.5 million each year from legacy income, alongside a strong pipeline of enquirers and pledgers. In-memory giving is also a key area we wish to further develop to maximise new opportunities for sustainable growth and supporter engagement.
Tŷ Hafan operates a hybrid working model, and the post holder will be required to work on site a minimum of 2 days per week.
About you:
You’re an experienced fundraiser, relationship‑building or supporter engagement professional who understands the power of strong relationships as well as effective campaigns.
You naturally build warm, trust‑based relationships with people - supporters, volunteers, pledgers, enquirers and retail colleagues, and you understand how to tailor communication to different audiences with clarity and care to create meaningful supporter experiences.
You thrive working collaboratively across a charity, bringing strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Most importantly, you’re motivated by making a genuine difference to children and families accessing hospice care.
You’ll need to be flexible, as some evenings and weekends will be part of the role to fit around the needs of our supporters.
Our employee benefits:
Ty Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own. Sadly, we know that thousands of families in Wales are struggling alone through the fear, exhaustion and uncertainty that comes with caring for a child whose life will be short. We believe that no family should have to live this on their own and we are determined to walk alongside every family through life, death and beyond.
At Tŷ Hafan we are experts at caring for children with life-shortening conditions and our services support families in our hospice, in community settings, local hospitals and in families’ homes. We understand that the needs of each child and their family are unique and we know that caring for a child with a life-shortening condition is often extremely demanding. Our aim is to make sure that no one doing this is alone. Our colleagues, volunteers and supporters are crucial in the delivery of our ambition – we know that everyone plays a huge part in making sure that no family faces their child’s short life alone.
Our Vision: A Wales where every child with a life-shortening condition lives a fulfilling life, supported with the compassion and specialist care they and their family need.
Our Purpose: No family should have to face the unimaginable loss of their child alone. With children and families at the heart of all we do, we provide free care and support in our hospice and in the community, offering a lifeline throughout the child’s short life, at end of life, through bereavement and beyond.
Our Values: At Tŷ Hafan we make a difference by living our values: Demonstrating Compassion, Providing Excellent Service, Working Together and Taking Ownership.
Tips for candidates – all applications and interviews will be assessed using the person specification included within the job description.
Our recruitment system will automatically time out after 120 minutes of inactivity. To ensure your application is submitted successfully, we recommend either saving your progress as you go or preparing your responses in a Word document and copying them into the application form. This will help you avoid losing any information in case of an unexpected timeout.
Please note this role is subject to the outcome of a basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, two satisfactory references and pre-employment medical clearance.
Tŷ Hafan is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences, including those from under‑represented groups. Recruitment decisions are made based on merit and aligned with our values. About the roles
Last year we launched our most ambitious strategy yet - Change Happens Now. To deliver on its promise, we have identified a phased and prioritised pipeline of cross-cutting strategic programmes that will move us closer to a future where, by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives - and is supported to live well.
We’re now looking for 2 Strategic Programme Leads to help deliver our strategy. You’ll work in our Strategy, Planning & Innovation (SPI) team, which is responsible for strategic change programmes, planning, innovation and involvement.
Both posts share the same job description and grade and will work flexibly across SPI’s full portfolio. However, each role has a distinct focus area and differs in contract type:
While each role has a primary focus area, we expect both post-holders to be flexible and adaptable. Priorities change, and you'll need to be equally comfortable working across specialisms, seeing the focus areas as a starting point which will evolve with organisational priorities.
About you
Whilst both roles are the same, given the specialisms, for role 1, we're particularly interested in candidates with experience of external connectivity across the UK health system landscape and a working knowledge of NHS structures, integrated care systems, clinical pathways and health inequalities. For role 2, we're particularly interested in candidates with experience of scaled engagement work, such as leading public engagement, support or community programmes.
For both roles, you’ll be able to get into the detail when it matters, including the design and sequencing of the programme itself. On some programmes you'll be the strategic lead, owning the work from start to finish and being the trusted strategic advisor to expert leaders. On others you'll partner an expert team, bringing the wider organisation in behind their delivery and working through the barriers that hold progress back.
You'll be confident leading, designing and running pilots and prototypes, with clear measures of success and an evidence-led approach to learning and improvement, ensuring you keep lived experience of breast cancer at the heart of your work. You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, making progress at pace without losing rigour, and you'll bring an innovation mindset, creating the conditions, methods and permission for teams to test, scale and embed new ways of working.
Most importantly, you'll be able to be flexible in your workload, and motivated by the chance to lead change in an organisation that wants to be brave, determined and ambitious - one that backs innovation, challenges the status quo when it needs to, and is willing to commit to the big, multi-year work that real impact requires.
