You'll support volunteer facilitators and partners to grow SMART Recovery meetings across the South of England (excluding London), making our 4-Point Programme(s) more accessible to people managing addictive behaviour(s):
- South East: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, West Sussex
- South West: Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Swindon, Wiltshire
Applicants must reside in the South of England, excluding London.
Job share considered: One employee can cover both regions, but we're open to a job share, i.e. one person for the South East 3 days per week, another for the South West. If full-time or dual-region work isn't feasible, please still apply.
What you'll need:
- Hands-on experience facilitating groups/meetings and an understanding of great facilitation.
- General awareness of addiction recovery and/or our 4-Point Programme(s); being a qualified SMART Recovery or SMART Family & Friends Facilitator, or former participant, is an advantage.
- Ability to bring people together, champion our mission, and create a safe, empowering space for growth and recovery.
- Strong presentation skills that engage, inspire, and inform, with volunteers, via Zoom training, or partners.
- Willingness to grow our footprint, diversify partnerships, and encourage uptake, including representing UKSR at events and conferences.
- Ability to work autonomously to a high standard.
- Stable internet connection and dedicated work space.
- Valid UK driving licence and a car for regular regional travel.

Essential experience:
- Working with individuals/professionals in a relevant sector (addiction services, behaviour change, wellness, mental health).
- Supporting and developing volunteers.
- Delivering training, ideally in peer-support or recovery settings.
- Building strong working relationships with relevant organisations.
- Giving/receiving feedback and reflective practice.
You'll also contribute to key projects shaping SMART Recovery's future, so project management skills are required Particular interest in training and programme quality, volunteer management, social media/marketing, or business development can be developed as part of your role.
As a home-based role, you'll build meaningful relationships remotely, via email, phone, and video calls, bringing energy and adaptability to make remote working feel personal and productive. Regular travel across your region(s) is essential, visiting meetings and partners and supporting facilitators.
It is essential that you live in the South of England (excluding London).

About the Role:
As a Supported Housing Worker within the Connect Wiltshire service, you’ll provide person-centred, high-quality support and housing management to single homeless clients with low to medium support needs, living in designated properties. Your focus will be on helping individuals progress towards greater independence, ensuring sustainable move-on within defined timescales.
Connect Wiltshire is a multi-agency partnership led by Turning Point and commissioned by Public Health. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in delivering the supported accommodation element of the service. You’ll work closely with partner agencies to support clients with complex needs, many of whom are in early recovery or abstaining from drugs and alcohol.

The Limbless Association is seeking a proactive, creative and resourceful Development Officer to enable the charity to extend its reach across the south west.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting individuals and their families experiencing amputation, through their rehabilitation, recovery and life beyond limb loss.
The Amputee Network Development Officer will play a pivotal role in the LA realising its outreach aims in the region. This role will build capacity across a range of outreach support activities, working closely with the Regional Development Manager (South), Services Development Lead and Volunteer Coordinator, to realise increased multi- stakeholder engagement, project reach, awareness of the charity and its services as well as working with the team to realise regional financial support of the LA’s work.

As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting services where extra capacity is needed, working across different locations including B&NES, Bristol, Wiltshire, Somerset and North Somerset. This is a varied and dynamic role, offering the opportunity to work across supported housing and outreach services, with no two weeks looking the same.
You’ll work directly with people who have a range of support needs, building positive, professional relationships and providing person‑centred, trauma‑informed support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is well organised, and can adapt to changing priorities and locations. You’ll need to be a driver with access to your own vehicle and business insurance, and be comfortable working flexibly, with rotas provided two weeks in advance and occasional last‑minute changes handled considerately.
What you’ll be doing:
Give clients advice and information, providing an enabling service so that they can be signposted to, and access appropriate services.
Maintain client records, so they are accurate and fully updated at all times.
Ensure all clients are provided with high-quality person-centred services which takes a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.

The Business Development Consultant will be central to increasing the number and quality of businesses working with Unseen to tackle modern slavery. The role involves representing Unseen at events, leading pitches and presentations, developing compelling proposals, and supporting contract negotiations to secure new business and meet revenue targets. This includes warm-calling prospective partners and leading on email outreach campaigns to build a strong, well-qualified pipeline. Success in this role will depend on the individual being highly proactive in uncovering, creating, and driving new opportunities forward.

About the role
