One25 is a Bristol charity for women moving from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most vulnerable women to help them to heal and thrive.
One25 services have been developed to meet women at their point of need, with love and practical support. We do this through our night outreach service which is a lifeline for women on Bristol’s streets. Our specialist caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live. Our Health Hub provides vital access for women to health services, supported by healthcare professionals.
This is an exciting opportunity to join One25 as we recruit a new Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advisor (IDSVA) to join our specialist case work team. You will be supporting women who street sex work and are at a high risk of domestic and sexual violence. One25 is committed to being an inclusive workplace that represents the diversity of the communities we serve. We actively encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We particularly encourage applications from across the global majority, LGBTQ and disability groups, and those who have lived experience of multiple disadvantages as these groups are underrepresented within our workforce.
As part of our efforts to increase ethnic diversity, we are taking positive action under the Equality Act 2010 (Section 159). We will guarantee an interview to applicants from global majority backgrounds who meet the essential criteria for the role. Applicants are therefore asked to ensure they complete the Equalities Form when submitting their details in order that their application can be considered appropriately. Please refer to One25’s Recruitment Data Privacy Policy for more information.
We are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments individuals may require once in post, but also during the application and interview process to make it as inclusive as possible. This could include (but is not limited to) different ways of applying, sharing interview questions in advance, or allowing more time for tasks during the interview.
Occupational Requirement
This post is open to women only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010. Following the recent Supreme Court judgment, this part of the Equality Act now means we may only consider applications from women who were assigned female at birth for this role. We welcome applicants to get in touch with us if they’d like to discuss this further.
Enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
Hours: 30 hours per week over 4 days. Caseworkers are required to complete a monthly van outreach shift (evening/night hours which can be taken back as TOIL) and to participate in the evening on-call rota (typically once every few months).

Help young people build confidence, resilience and brighter futures through sport and mentoring.
Looking for a role where you can make a real difference?
Maybe you're studying Sports Coaching, Sport & Exercise Science, Youth Work, Education or Psychology.
You're a Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor, Sports Coach, Support Worker or Youth Worker looking for your next step.
Or perhaps you love working with young people but want something more stable, rewarding and meaningful than evening and weekend coaching.
At Dallaglio RugbyWorks, we support young people who are at risk of exclusion from education. Using sport as a hook and positive relationships as the foundation, we help young people build confidence, resilience, aspirations and life skills that can transform their futures.
You don't need to be a rugby expert. What matters is your ability to connect with young people, inspire them and help them believe in themselves.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
__________________________
The Role at a Glance
What you’ll be doing
Every young person deserves someone who believes in them.
As a Sports coach & youth mentor, you'll play a vital role in that journey. Alongside your coaching partner, you'll deliver engaging sports sessions, mentoring and workshops that inspire young people, build trust and help them realise their potential. Whether you're supporting a young person one-to-one, leading a group activity or helping deliver enrichment events, you'll be creating opportunities for young people to succeed.
This is more than a coaching role. It's an opportunity to be a positive role model, build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in the lives of young people across Hastings & Bexhill.
You do not need to know rugby to apply. The rugby side can be taught, and plenty of people in the team started with youth work or mentoring experience rather than a sports coaching background.
Day to day, you’ll work with schools, alternative provision teams and community partners to keep sessions safe, productive and well-organised. You’ll also support holiday activities, career taster days and enrichment trips, giving young people positive things to be part of outside school.
There will be some admin too, including tracking attendance, progress and outcomes. This helps the team see what is working and keep support consistent for the young people taking part.
If you're passionate about helping young people thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
You're probably a great fit if...
You believe every young person deserves someone in their corner.
Whether you've coached a team, supported students in school, mentored young people, or led activities in your community, you know how to build trust, inspire confidence and help young people see what's possible.
We're looking for someone who brings energy, empathy and resilience; someone who can connect with young people facing challenges, lead engaging sessions, and be a positive role model when it matters most.
If you're passionate about changing lives, confident working independently, and excited by the chance to make a real impact every day, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll need
Bonus points if you have...
This is your chance to help young people realise their potential.

The charity uses mentoring, life skills, wellbeing support and career-focused activities to help young people build confidence and prepare for life after school.
Our work focuses on four areas: life skills, raising aspirations, physical wellbeing and mental wellbeing and the aim is to make sure exclusion from school does not become exclusion from society.
