As Community & Events Fundraiser you would be building on and developing already established relationships with local schools, community groups, supporters and organisations, inspire community fundraising, and plan and deliver exciting events, including our annual Purple Party.

This role will deliver specialist energy advice and casework to residents experiencing fuel poverty, energy debt and complex energy-related problems. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support some of Doncaster's most vulnerable households and help them achieve sustainable outcomes.
About the role
You'll provide in-depth energy advice and casework to clients whose circumstances require investigation, advocacy, negotiation and ongoing support.
You will work directly with energy suppliers, represent clients where appropriate and help resolve complex issues including billing disputes, affordability concerns and energy debt.
The role will include telephone appointments, video appointments, face-to-face appointments and occasional outreach/home visit activity.

Purpose of the role
Transforming the Thames is an ambitious, partnership-led programme working towards a vision of a restored, reconnected and resilient Thames Estuary, a thriving coastal wetland where communities and wildlife can flourish.
Led by ZSL and delivered through a diverse partnership of industry, government, environmental organisations, local nature partnerships and landowners, the programme is bringing people and organisations together to reconnect the fragmented and damaged seascape of the Greater Thames Estuary. Through the protection, repair and restoration of coastal habitats, the programme is delivering an initial 320ha of habitat restoration by 2030, with ambitions to scale up this work over the long term.
This role will play an important part in bringing the vision for Transforming the Thames to life, coordinating communications across the programme and working with the ZSL project team and partners to deliver clear, consistent and engaging messaging. Working closely with ZSL’s central PR team, the role will support content, media activity and key campaign moments, drawing on ZSL’s brand, partner resources and creative content to share the programme’s story with a wide range of audiences.
With the project now underway, this is an exciting opportunity to raise awareness of Transforming the Thames, engage communities across the Greater Thames Estuary and showcase how collaboration can help nature recover.

The OUT Side OUT Spoken Navigator supports male survivors and survivor allies as they prepare to leave prison or another secure setting and rebuild their lives in the community. The role provides intensive, trauma-informed support shaped around each person’s individual circumstances, including completing risk and needs assessments and developing a tailored support plan. You’ll help people navigate challenges around housing, healthcare, benefits, employment and community connections, working closely with prison, probation, health, social care and other partner agencies. The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with tens of millions of visits every year.
We are now looking for a Landscape Architect to join us on a full-time,12-month fixed term contract for maternity cover, working 36 hours per week.

Are you an experienced training facilitator?
Can you support and deliver sessions to a wide range of professionals on how to best work alongside young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence?
Do you want to work for a values-led charity that centres young women’s voices?
Abianda is a London-based charity that works with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence, and the professionals who support them. We exist to ensure young women are no longer hidden in our communities and can live free from harm and abuse. We aim to bring about a culture shift in how services are delivered to young women and girls, so that they can access support that works for them when they need it.
We are seeking experienced, reflective and values-driven freelance trainers to support the delivery of high-quality training for professionals working with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in participatory facilitation, committed to trauma-informed and intersectional practice, and able to work collaboratively.
The role will involve facilitating sessions in person and online and may require overnight travel and stays.

Role details:
Freelance, sessional contract
Day rate between £220 and £300, depending on support or lead delivery and experience
Reporting to Abianda’s Training and Development Lead

First stage online interviews will be held the week commencing 21 September. Second stage in-person interviews will be held the week commencing 28 September.
If you are invited to join the team, you must be available on 13 and 15 October for onboarding sessions. You must also be available for two out of the four following training delivery dates: 3, 11, 17 and 24 November.
All applicants are requested to complete a criminal record self-disclosure form at interview stage. We value the lived experience of our applicants and all disclosures will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must share a basic DBS certificate before starting work with Abianda.
