The role of Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will lead the Events and Partnerships Teams to deliver their strategy and plans. Working with the Head of Public Fundraising the Senior Events and Partnerships Manager will carry out a programme of continuous improvement to shape our programme of events for supporters, the local community, our children, young people and their families and retain and grow our partnerships and community fundraising programmes. This work is vital in helping us to achieve our strategic aims of increasing our net contribution and growing our supporter base.
The successful candidate will proactively lead our Events Team to review and overhaul our current events programme before implementing a varied and exciting refreshed programme which will engage new and current supporters as well as the local community and our children, young people and their families. They will also lead our Partnerships Team to develop and maintain and grow long-term, high value and multifaceted community, group and corporate partnerships to maximise income, value and influence for The Children’s Trust. You will lead a small team of events and partnerships managers to secure and manage a range of new and existing partnerships and events (including owned and third party).

This is a new role based on site within the Recruit Training School at RAF Halton, Buckinghamshire. As an experienced and qualified Counsellor, you will work closely with recruits and staff at the school, supporting recruits to develop the required resilience to successfully complete their training. The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Membership Engagement and Services team to support and grow the Law Society's diversity and inclusion communities: Disabled Solicitors Network, Ethnic Solicitors Network, LGBTQ+ Solicitors Network, and Women Solicitors Network.
The Membership Network Manager is responsible for developing and coordinating the delivery of the engagement programme for the networks to raise awareness and enhance the visibility of the voice of these communities and key issues, and to create opportunities for networking and peer to peer support amongst network members.
This role is also responsible for ensuring network members are connected to the Law Society's broader work and EDI strategy and that opportunities to engage and contribute perspectives are both sought and shared.
This is an exciting and varied role where your expertise and engagement will be used to great effect to make a real impact for our members. The contract is expected to run from 10 August 2026 to 17 Sep 2027.

The Role
This is a great opportunity to join the Law Society Library team, leading on the development of our collections and shaping a high quality, responsive legal collection and research service for our 200,000 members.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering our legal enquiry service, handling varied research requests for cases, legislation, precedents and more. Your expertise will maintain the integrity of our unrivalled collection of current and historic law, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the legal community we serve.
The Law Society is the membership body for the legal profession and our members are at the heart of what we do. In this role, you will work directly with them to deliver excellent research and collection services that support their legal practice and professional excellence.

What we're looking for
You will have proven experience of legal information enquiry work and of research using hardcopy and online databases.
You will have strong analytical skills to assess collection needs and make informed decisions based on your extensive knowledge of current UK legal information resources.
Your positive professional attitude and proactive approach, will enable you to take the lead on collection development projects, adapt to new challenges and take the initiative with creative solutions.
With excellent communication skills and customer service experience, you will confidently work with our members and colleagues to deliver our fantastic professional enquiry service to the large membership of solicitors across England and Wales.
