Southall Community Alliance is a charity working in Southall that is looking to recruit 
an experienced, part-time Human Rights Outreach Officer to oversee an exciting 
new 2.5 year project we are delivering to build understanding of human rights issues 
and law. 
The person we are looking for will be well organised, motivated and aware of the 
nuanced issues affecting diverse and disadvantaged communities. Their duties 
include arranging training, workshops and outreach visits to create awareness of 
human rights legislation and the practical impacts in areas with large, transient 
communities. 
The Outreach Worker will act as primary contact for the project and policy work and 
ensure good working relationships with a range of key contacts including policy and 
programmes partners.

This is a new role within St Luke’s for Clergy Wellbeing created to strengthen and embed high-quality clinical practice across our services. The Clinical Quality Learning Lead will support the continuous improvement and quality assurance of our talking therapy provision, enhancing safety, consistency, and a shared learning culture across our network of therapy providers. Financial administration

Administration of the donations inbox, liaising with current donors and prospective donors for simple queries. Ensuring good organisation of the inbox with a clear labelling system.

Draft donation acknowledgement letters for donors to acknowledge donations received.

Management of donations management system (Raisers Edge), including:

review of potential duplicate donor records

ensuring accurate documentation and declarations for Gift Aid donors

making edits and updates to donor records as and when required.Maintenance of the tracker for Raisers Edge issues to ensure these are managed and dealt with appropriately.

Follow up with donors who have expressed an interest in Gift Aid.

Liaising with the Comms team to ensure maintenance of supporters contact list.

Digital archiving of paper-based records held within the Finance Department.

Support Finance Managers with the organisation of the shared drive and the Sharepoint site.

Management of Finance policy and procedure documents library on the shared drive, ensuring these are up-to-date and accessible to staff.

Scan letters received for finance and deal with these appropriately (sharing with the relevant individual and/or filing on the shared drive).

Download bank statements on a daily basis and save on the shared drive.

Financial controls

Reconciliation of simple balance sheet accounts (e.g. petty cash, debit notes, deposit accounts) on a monthly basis.

Rconciliation of properties bank accounts and deposit accounts on a monthly basis.

Support the Finance Officer (Income) with donations collections and trips to the bank to deposit cash and cheque donations, ensuring all cheques and cash received are banked promptly and securely.

Provide assistance with the annual audit and the preparation of the statutory accounts, particularly with regard the provision of supporting documentation.

Host finance inductions for all new staff members.

Financial processing

Manage the corporate credit card process and user register, including onboarding of new users.

Issue monthly credit card statements to staff members for their expenses submissions.

Conduct first finance review of monthly credit card submissions and collate the supporting documentation submitted, ready for posting.

Collate Out of Pocket expenditure claims and conduct a first review of these before processing by the Finance Officer (Expenditure).

Support the Finance Officer (Income) with quarterly donor pledge statements process.

Post property and Victoria Hall interest, bank sweeps, and charges into Business Central.

Supporting others

Perform any other financial duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Financial Controller, Properties Finance Manager, Head of Finance and Operations.

Supporting Finance Officers (Income and Expenditure) and covering key tasks in their absence.

The Senior Wilder Communities Officer (Wilder Norwich) will lead, coordinate, and deliver this flagship project for NWT. This is a pivotal role combining project management, team leadership, strategic partnership building, and hands-on community engagement.

You will oversee delivery across all three priority sites, line-manage two Wilder Communities Officers, report to funders and ensure the project’s activities reflect community aspirations, achieve ecological outcomes, and build long-term community ownership.

You will champion an inclusive, collaborative approach to connecting people and nature – particularly within communities that historically have had less access to high-quality green spaces and using a community organising approach support people to take action for nature where they live.

Main purpose of post  

As the Operations Assistant you will be supporting the Operations Manager in delivering and maintaining effective operational function at the charity. Including but not exclusively, Health & Safety, Premises, Facilities, Vehicle Management, and IT Services.

Key Responsibilities 

Operational Support 

• Act as the first point of contact for premises, facilities, IT and Estates issues across all Weston Park Cancer Charity locations including our Outreach programmes.

• Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining a secure and organised premises and facilities, which ensure colleagues, volunteers and visitors are safe and experience a welcoming environment.

• Support the Operations Manager in the successful delivery of the Annual Operations plan.

• Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and take minutes in operations-related working groups. 

• Support with updating operational policies and procedures.

• Act as a first point of contact for data related issues, alongside the Operations Manager - following relevant training, to promote a strong GDPR culture.

• Assist in the coordination of charity vehicle fleet maintenance schedules and provide breakdown response support. 

• Assist in the control and coordination of the use of charity space and assets, including liaising with contractors and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH) on relevant matters as required.

• Act as a designated keyholder, responsible for the opening and closing procedure. 

• Manage the operations shared email inbox. 

Site 

• Event site working as required across South Yorkshire. 

• Community working locations to facilitate our work in targeted outreach communities. 

Health & Safety 

• Serve as the first point of contact for all Health & Safety matters, including incidents and accidents, ensuring accurate recording and reporting. 

• Provide operational and administrative support on all Health & Safety matters at our sites and external locations (including external events and the Outreach Service, updating COSHH reports). 

• Assist in the procurement, delivery and recording of mandatory staff training needs. 

• Help establish and maintain safe working practices and policies and undertake basic risk assessments. 

Workwear and equipment 

• Act as the first point of contact for workwear and equipment requests; including being responsible for issuing and returning stock, regular stock checks and ordering stock as required. 

Tech Support 

• Serve as the first point of contact for general IT enquiries. 

• Consult with IT consultants to ensure adherence to processes. 

• Work with the Operations Manager to implement processes that maintain the IT security score.

• Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including software licenses, logins, and induction training. 

• Serve as lead administrator for key operational software, such as Webex phone system and Vatix Lone Worker App. 

General Administrative Support & Development 

• Handle general enquiries from staff, patients, and volunteers efficiently.

• Manage charity postal enquiries.

• Assist the Operations Manager with the procurement of stationery and consumables.

• Assist the wider team with ad hoc work and undertake small projects that support the charity's work. e.g. Events, Logistical and Tech Support. 

Environmental Advocate 

• Work with the Operations Manager to promote environmental awareness and encourage the charity adopts a green approach (e.g., recycling, energy use, carbon footprint). 

• Identify and implement actions to reduce environmental impacts, costs, and/or increase income under the direction of the Operations Manager. 

Hours: 

• This post may require some flexible working. The charity offers an excellent Time in Lieu policy for hours completed outside of your normal working hours.

Our client runs a specialist Saturday school offering advanced musical training to young people aged 5–18. Students combine their studies with general education in schools, coming together each week to learn under the guidance of leading professional performers and educators. The school offers a broad and ambitious programme of individual lessons, ensembles, choirs, chamber groups, and supporting studies classes. Many students progress to conservatoires and universities, while others pursue diverse careers enriched by their musical experiences at the school.

The Head of Learning will provide strategic and educational leadership across the school ensuring that all programmes are inspiring, inclusive, and of the highest quality. The Head of Learning will lead the design and delivery of their curriculum and programmes — working collaboratively with Heads of Department and colleagues across the Centre to shape provision, promote excellence in teaching, and ensure strong progression for every student, regardless of background. The post-holder will play a key role in defining their educational vision and strategy, as well as contributing to the wider learning and programme strategy. They will also act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and lead on quality assurance, data evaluation and impact, and continuous improvement across the Centre.

About the Local Property Partnerships pilot, 2024-2027

Thanks to National Lottery players, Platform Places and partners have received almost £2.5 million over three years from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK. The funding is being used to enable communities to come together and secure long-term spaces for the activities and services that they need the most.

This fund and programme resources local leaders in neighbourhoods in Newcastle, Sheffield, Liverpool City Region, Bristol and London – working towards shifting multiple buildings into long-term local ownership. We’re also supported by our national partner organisations Architectural Heritage Fund, Power to Change and Social Investment Business. Our intention is that this work will lay the groundwork for a larger follow-on funding programme, which catalyses England-wide adoption of this approach.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced, creative and hands-on communications specialist to join our small team and network of local and national partners.

The Communications Lead will focus on our key programmes, with the below time distribution. The challenge and opportunity is to hit the ground running and drive communications across our key channels – to help attract allies, funding and support, and inspire replication of these approaches in neighbourhoods around England.

2 days per week, ‘Local Property Partnerships’: 

• You’ll lead on promoting, and sharing learnings from, Platform Places’ exciting pilot programme (funded by National Lottery Community Fund) – which is localising and democratising who owns, controls and transforms town centre buildings in five neighbourhoods across England. 

0.75 days per week, ‘People and Place’: 

• You’ll promote, and share learnings from, Footwork Trust’s ‘People and Place’ programme – which supports community innovators to turn their bold ideas into lasting positive change for their place. 

0.25 days per week, Wider movement building: 

• You’ll work on ad hoc broader communications opportunities that support our mission and the programmes – for example, creating a content piece with local or national partners from our wider network, or pitching a media story that cuts across all our programmes.

This involves the following areas of responsibility: 

1. Build on our working communications strategy
2. Work with co-directors to develop our bold, inspiring core messaging, and update our boilerplate narratives
3. Manage digital channels for Platform Places and Footwork: a) plan and create regular social media content; b) write newsletters (approx. quarterly); c) upload and edit website content, on Squarespace (drag-and-drop editor) and occasionally Wix (guidance available).

We’re looking for a part-time Trusts Fundraising Officer to contribute their skills, experience, and personality to add value to our Trusts team within the Fundraising department at Blesma, The Limbless Veterans.

This home-based role is now available due to the current post holder moving on to new pastures. The Trust team has had incredible success in recent years, which we are eager to sustain and grow. The successful candidate will provide support to the Trusts Fundraising Manager and work alongside a fellow part-time Trusts Fundraising Officer within this ambitious team.

The role is a varied one, focusing on all aspects of the funding cycle – from identifying opportunities and building relationships, to writing compelling applications and providing high level stewardship. The team works collaboratively across the Association to ensure Blesma’s programmes and services can continue to help limbless veterans and their families.

Housing First Support Worker (28 hours per week)

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is recruiting a Housing First Support Worker to join our specialist team supporting people who have experienced homelessness and other traumatic events.

In this role, you’ll hold a small caseload (around six residents) and provide tailored, person-centred, trauma-informed support that helps people sustain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, and work towards recovery on their own terms. You’ll build trusting relationships over time, combining practical housing-related support (such as moving in, budgeting, appointments, maintaining a home and accessing community resources) with strong advocacy to ensure residents can access healthcare, benefits, housing services and specialist support.

You’ll work closely with SCT colleagues and a range of external partners across Tower Hamlets to remove barriers, reduce risk, and prevent eviction. The post includes completing needs and risk assessments, maintaining clear case records (including on In-Form or similar systems), and contributing to reporting and service learning. This is a values-led role for someone who is organised, resilient, and confident working independently with adults facing multiple disadvantage (including addiction, mental ill health, and long-term homelessness).

This is a part-time post (28 hours per week) with a salary up to £32,000 (up to £25,600 pro rata). Enhanced Adult Workforce DBS is required. The Director of Finance & Corporate Services is a new post for the East London Mosque Trust (ELMT). The Director of Finance will lead the Trust’s financial strategy, planning, and operations. This pivotal role will oversee the day to day financial transactions and ensure compliance while driving financial sustainability, transparency, innovation, and long term growth. The post holder will work closely with the CEO, the Senior Management Team, and the Trustees to help shape the future direction of the organisation. As one of the largest mosques and Islamic centres in the UK, it is imperative to build capacity in the leadership team to deliver effective, informed, strategic financial decisions to support the future sustainability of the ELMT.

Director of Finance & Corporate Services

The Director of Finance & Corporate Services is responsible for the proper conduct of all aspects of the day to day financial management of the ELMT.

Finance Management

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with charity regulations and accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow, reserves, and funding streams including grants, donations, and contracts.
• Maintain an annual and a five-year financial forecast to underpin the strategic objectives.
• Responsibile for managing ELMT’s investments, while developing and implementing strategies for maximising ELMT’s finances.
• Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across departments to support financial literacy and budget ownership.

Governance & Compliance

• Prepare financial reports for CEO/SMT, the Board of Trustees and funders.
• Ensure compliance with The Charity Commission, HMRC, and Companies House requirements.
• Lead on audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead on digital transformation for financial arrangements.
• Ensure there is a knowledge/awareness of fraud across the organisation.

Finance, Sustainability & Compliance

• Optimise financial controls and processes in order to minimise financial risks, and ensure organisational compliance.
• Ensure compliance with funding agreements across all the teams and services.
• Ensure monthly reconciliation of all control accounts including creditors, debtors, payroll and banks; the preparation of monthly management accounts; and preparation/maintenance of control over all non-transactional journals such as accruals, prepayments, fixed assets/depreciation.
• A sound understanding of Islamic financial principles and their application within a charitable and governance context.
• Lead the strategic financial planning process, delivering annual and forecast budget plans, periodic forecasts within year and funding requirements, working closely with CEO and SMT.
• Plan and coordinate all tax, finance and treasury management practice and policy, with reference to charitable status, cash management and investments, reviewing and reporting on investment portfolios on a monthly basis.
• Ensure monthly payroll is accurate and timely, including all matters related to HMRC, and PAYE submissions.
• Have a full oversight of contracting and procurement activities and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, always seeking value for money, and where possible, cost saving opportunities.
• Check the condition of all assets and conduct an ongoing review of whether assets and investments are being put to best use and serving the organisation’s interests.
• Work with the CEO to identify new revenue-generating tactics.
• Responsible for the preparation of annual accounts to prescribed standards, managing effective relationships with the auditors, taking responsibility for the completion and submission of statutory/regulatory reporting in line with prescribed timelines, and keeping up to date with regulatory and statutory requirements within the charity sector.
• Lead on The Charity Commission reporting, including the annual review/trustee report and updating the organisation’s information held by The Charity Commission and Companies House.

Operational Excellence

• Review and improve organisational processes across ELMT, including Operations, Facilities, HR and Policy, ensuring they are efficient, effective and aligned with best practice.
• Identify and propose practical improvements to systems, policies and ways of working, driving internal efficiency and increasing organisational impact.
• Ensure alignment between systems, policies and processes, enabling departments to work effectively together and supporting ELMT’s strategic objectives.
• Over time, take on broader responsibility across departments, particularly in strengthening processes and embedding sustainable efficiencies.

Information Technology Management

• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management, including Data Protection and Cyber Security.

• Support the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure future projects can deliver strong, funder‑ready impact reporting.

• Support audit processes related to restricted funding alongside the Finance team.
