Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) for Brazilian communities

Aymara London CIC is seeking a passionate and committed Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to join our growing specialist domestic abuse team.
As a lived experience led organisation, we provide culturally competent, trauma informed and survivor centred support to women from migrant and racially minoritised communities affected by violence against women and girls. As part of the Safe Horizons London Partnership, funded by MOPAC and led by Victim Support, we deliver specialist advocacy and support for women from Latin American communities across London.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting survivors of domestic abuse to improve their safety, wellbeing and access to justice.
About the role
You will provide high quality advocacy, risk management and practical support to women experiencing domestic abuse. You will work closely with survivors to develop safety plans, navigate complex systems and access housing, legal, health and other specialist services.
You will represent survivors within multi agency settings including MARAC, build strong partnerships with statutory and voluntary sector organisations and contribute to community engagement and prevention activities.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
• Experience supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse or other forms of violence against women and girls
• Experience of risk assessment, safety planning and case management

The service operates a gateway model, giving the Armed Forces community a single point of contact for housing, financial, employability and wider support.

About the role:
The Head of Product (Ecosystem) reports to the Director of Product and will work alongside and in partnership with the Head of Product (Schools and Teachers), a role we are also hiring for, as well as leading our Quality Assurance discipline.
This role leads our Product squads responsible for expanding the reach and impact of Oak's curriculum beyond our direct-to-teacher and school products, as well as our Quality Assurance discipline. You'll be responsible for a portfolio of Ecosystem products and technical capabilities that make it easier for others to build innovative, safe and pedagogically robust tools using Oak's curriculum, data and code.
You'll also ensure that the way we create and structure our curriculum content works well for both Oak and others, maximising the long-term reach and impact of our curriculum across products, platforms, and AI-powered learning environments.

About the Role
As our Financial Controller, you'll lead the day-to-day financial operations of the charity, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and efficient processes that support our mission. As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, you will manage a client caseload safely and effectively to support individuals who want to make changes to their lives. You will deliver a range of person-centred interventions, including monitoring Opiate Substitute prescriptions and promoting harm reduction. Primarily based at The Recovery Hub in Southsea, your role will involve visiting clients in other services or home environments, carrying out assessments, and working closely with medical teams and key partner agencies to deliver safe and effective support.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a trauma-informed, compassionate, and self-aware candidate with experience working with substance misuse and mental health client groups. You should possess excellent risk management skills, strong professional boundaries, and the ability to build meaningful, engaging relationships with service users. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and willing to work flexibly (including evenings and weekends) to meet service user needs and ensure safeguarding standards across their caseload.
