Working days/hours per week: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives. 

The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK. 

Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.

Purpose of the Job 

Essential to this role is for the System Administrator to be the technical owner for Microsoft cloud and endpoint management: enabling the merger programme, delivering a secure, standardised M365/Entra/Intune environment, and supporting ISMS and Data Protection implementation through the implementation of Technical Controls, in collaboration with Managed Service Provider.

In addition - be the technical owner of other non-Microsoft platforms, as the organisation merges and rationalises the non-Microsoft platforms in operation.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

 M365 / Entra ID

• Manage Entra ID configuration: users/groups, roles, access governance, Conditional Access, PIM (where used), guest access, SSO integrations.
• Maintain authentication and security posture: MFA enforcement, risky sign-in/user remediation, break-glass account readiness, identity audit readiness.

Endpoint management (Intune)

• Own Intune configuration: device compliance, configuration profiles, security baselines, app deployment, update rings, BitLocker policy/reporting.
• Confirm and improve Windows Autopilot processes: enrolment profiles, device naming, standard build, app packaging, and onboarding experience.

Azure Data

• Support the Data Teams via the implementation and management of integrations between the IT infrastructure and the Data infrastructures. This would include areas such as SSO implementations for key apps.
• Support the limited number of Azure Servers currently operating, with Sharp.

Email security & collaboration controls

• Defender skills
• Support implementation of DLP & Data Classification policies.
• Support rollout and tuning of E5 security capabilities and/or Email Security Gateway integration
• Improve Exchange and SharePoint/OneDrive configurations: anti-phish/spam policies, mail flow hygiene, external sharing controls, retention/labels where agreed.

Telephony / Entra Integration

• Integrate mobile devices (both COPE and BYOD) into the Entra environment, with support from Sharp
• Support the transition from 8x8 to Teams Voice environment.

Merger enablement

• Support technical delivery for domain changes, tenant alignment activities, SSO/cert updates (e.g., Salesforce SSO certificate changes), and application rationalisation.

Operational excellence

• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs for BAU and audit evidence
• Provide 3rd line support/escalation for Microsoft-related incidents and changes
• Support IT Manager in multi-platform Disaster Recovery exercises and issues.

Duties and key responsibilities

Database Administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT)

• Manage, maintain and optimise constituent and gift data on Raiser’s Edge NXT to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support the Database Officer with processing incoming donations from online giving platforms including JustGiving and Fundraise Up to ensure accurate integration and reconciliation.
• Support the Database Officer with monthly reconciliations between Raiser’s Edge NXT and the income spreadsheet.
• Work with the Database Manager to develop and manage Omatic Cloud automated processes for importing constituent and gift data from external fundraising platforms.
• Support the Database Manager in designing and monitoring database KPIs.
• Lead data cleansing and housekeeping projects including data retention, consent and Gift Aid reviews identifying areas for improvement and implementation of best practice in collaboration with the Database Manager and Database Officer.
• Support fundraising stewardship through event management, automated workflows and mailing list coordination.
• Process and record Gift Aid declarations in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of data quality, GDPR compliance and robust data controls.
• Administer user access and database security settings in line with internal policies and GDPR.

Data Reporting and Insights

• Build sophisticated donor segmentation, pipelines and automated journeys to improve donor retention and engagement.
• Deliver tailored reports, interactive dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.

Staff Training and Support

• Provide tailored team training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and guidance materials to help colleagues make the best use of Raiser’s Edge NXT.

POST OUTLINE

A rare opportunity to create and lead Individual Giving and Legacies at a pivotal point of growth within an ambitious fundraising team.  This role will define the strategy and create and deliver on establishing income streams that will be central to future success.  It requires an experienced fundraiser who thrives on building; someone who can turn ideas into action and work at pace. 

Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to develop programmes that deliver real impact and long-term value.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will lead the creation and delivery of Individual Giving and Legacies programmes, establishing two core income streams that will drive sustainable growth.  It will define strategy, build insight-led, multi-channel programmes and design supporter journeys that deepen engagement over time, from first gift to long term support and legacy giving. 

Working across the organisation the postholder will embed a strong supporter focus, ensuring that fundraising is integrated into wider engagement activity.  You will take ownership of income performance, budgets and continuous improvement through data, testing and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Individual Giving and Legacies strategy, covering acquisition, retention, regular giving and legacy development.
• Design and deliver integrated multi-channel campaigns to grow income and lifetime value.
• Build and optimize end-to-end supporter journeys, including pathways to legacy giving.
• Grow and develop legacy income including awareness, pipeline development and stewardship approaches.
• Use data, segmentation and insight to drive decision making, improve performance and increase retention.
• Set, manage and reforecast budgets ensuring delivery against income targets.

The Research & Partnerships Directorate is a fast paced, collaborative team committed to achieving Alzheimer’s Research UK’s vision. The Directorate has responsibility for delivering on the charity’s principal remit: funding world-class research to ultimately defeat dementia. Alzheimer’s Research UK funds dementia research through a large portfolio of investigator-led grant awards, research fellowships and strategic initiatives within the UK and increasingly internationally.

Working closely with the Evidence Manager, you’ll help shape how Alzheimer’s Research UK understands, evidences, and tells the story of the impact of the research we fund. You’ll lead on collating, cleaning and analysing impact data from a range of sources, turning it into compelling insights that support external reporting, fundraising and internal decision-making. You’ll work across the organisation (including Communications and Philanthropy) and with external partners to strengthen our approach to impact assessment, helping to position ARUK as a leader in the field. Key Responsibilities:

Research impact assessment, analysis & dissemination

· Lead the day-to-day collation and analysis of research impact across ARUK’s funded portfolio.

o Collate, clean and maintain impact data (e.g. researcher reports, publications and online sources such as Dimensions) to enable consistent, high-quality reporting.

o Analyse and synthesise findings into clear, decision-ready insights, supported by visualisations and (where appropriate) dashboards.

o Turn impact evidence into engaging content (e.g. case studies, summaries and graphics briefs) and partner with the Communications Team to make it ready for internal and external use.

· Own the day-to-day development of the Impact Hub—our internal repository of research impact—spotting standout examples of progress (e.g. career development, collaborations, guideline influence) enabled by sustained ARUK funding and shaping them into strong case studies.

· Partner with fundraising teams to understand their evidence needs and identify new opportunities to bring research impact to life for supporters.

· Help improve and embed reporting processes that strengthen how we evaluate and communicate the impact of ARUK-funded research.

Data analysis, Evidence & Evaluation

· Provide responsive data collection, analysis and reporting support across the Research & Partnerships Directorate and wider organisation, working closely with the Evidence Manager.

o Examples include: portfolio trends, geographic spread, career outcomes and collaboration mapping.

· Support the Evidence Manager to deliver ARUK’s Strategic Performance Measurement Framework—tracking and reporting KPIs for senior leadership and trustees.

· Continuously improve systems and workflows, streamlining data handling and building reusable templates and dashboards (e.g. automation in Excel/Power Query, Power BI data models, standard operating procedures).

External ambassador for research impact 

· Build expertise in research impact assessment by engaging with organisations such as the AMRC and attending relevant workshops and meetings.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, in particular ARUK-funded researchers and other funding bodies, spotting opportunities to advance ARUK’s research aims.

· Represent ARUK at national and international events and conferences, helping to position the charity as an authority on research impact.

Team working and other responsibilities

· Play an active role in Team and Directorate meetings, bringing ideas, insight and constructive challenge.

· Keep colleagues and stakeholders updated on progress, insights and next steps as appropriate.

· Support internal reporting on risks, budgets and activity across the Research & Partnerships directorate.

· Scientific background, educated to degree level in a relevant subject (or equivalent work experience)

In this role you will be joining a friendly and fast-moving Policy and Public Affairs team, during an exciting year for dementia research as we campaign on our core mission for a cure. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to oversee our active campaigns and identify opportunities to mobilise our supporters and drive influence and impact for and with people affected by dementia.

You will lead the development of the campaigns function for ARUK, building on existing initiatives, championing best practice in campaigns and building our reach and engagement. You will also be responsible for working across a range of functions including our policy, research, communications, digital, brand and volunteering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver our live campaigns and marshal our campaigner base to advocate for change in dementia research and for people affected by dementia

· Work with colleagues across research, policy and public affairs teams to develop and deliver our campaigns that mobilise people affected by dementia and our supporters to influence decision makers and change policy and practice

· Work with the policy managers to ensure that our campaigns align with our strategic priorities and theories of change

· Work closely with public affairs colleagues to plan campaign actions that align with key political influencing moments e.g. Budget; Spending Review; King’s speech; General Elections

Develop and deliver our campaign communications to grow the reach, influence and impact of our campaigns

· Lead the development and growth of our campaigner network, building supporter journeys, and producing compelling and creative campaigner communications across email, social media and other channels

The Donation Processor plays a key role in ensuring the accurate recording, reconciliation, and processing of all income received by Southampton Hospitals Charity. This position supports the integrity of financial data, provides timely information to fundraising and finance teams, and ensures compliance with internal controls, charity regulations, and GDPR requirements. 

Donation Processing & Banking 

• Process and record donations via standing orders, BACS, and other channels, ensuring all supporting documentation is filed appropriately and in compliance with internal financial procedures and details are entered into Beacon CRM. 

• Download, reconcile and process reports from online donation platforms and input details into Beacon CRM. 

• Support with the secure storage, logging, and transfer of cash and cheques to the hospital’s cashier’s office in accordance with cash-handling procedures.

• Follow up bank reconciliation of cash and cheques and update Beacon and Xero accordingly. 

• Liaise with fundraising team to identify and allocate income, resolving queries quickly and professionally. 

• Update bank statement spreadsheet daily and share it with the wider fundraising team. 

Database & Records Management 

• Input and code donations into Beacon CRM, ensuring accurate allocation. 

• Maintain electronic records to comply with financial, statutory, and GDPR regulations. 

• Ensure timely transfer of income data from Beacon into Xero, supporting reconciliation and month-end procedures. 

• Support the preparation of Gift Aid declarations and claims in line with HMRC regulations, maximizing eligible income. 

• Work with Finance Manager to ensure that the necessary accounting and reconciliation processes are in place

Knowledge and experience

Main Purpose of the Role 
This new role aims to support the design, coordination and delivery of Action Duchenne’s events portfolio, including the Annual Community Summit, regional meetups, workshops, and online events.  Specific Tasks 

1. Event Coordination and Logistics 

• Support the planning and delivery of the Annual Community Summit, working closely with the Chief Scientific Officer, Director of Fundraising and Communications, and wider team. 

• Coordinate logistics for in‑person and online events, including venue liaison, catering, accessibility arrangements, equipment, travel, accommodation and schedules. 

• Ensure event details are accurately published and updated across relevant platforms (website, CRM, communications channels). 

• Manage registration processes for all events and ensure attendees receive timely, accurate joining information. 

• Support the organisation of regional meet‑ups and workshops, ensuring venues, facilitators and resources are in place. 

2. Administration and Operational Delivery

3. Stakeholder and Supplier Management

4. Community and Engagement Support

• Support the promotion of events through the Communications Officer, ensuring timely provision of copy, event information and updates.

5. Data Management, Monitoring and Evaluation 

• Ensure accurate data entry in CRM systems (eTapestry or similar) for attendee lists, engagement tracking and follow up actions.

• Track attendance, trends and logistical improvements, contributing to quarterly reporting. 

6. Risk, Compliance and Quality Assurance

parkrun is looking for a Data Protection Officer to ensure that parkrun processes personal data in a lawful, transparent and secure manner and maintains compliance with applicable data protection laws across the global parkrun movement.

Reporting to the Global Head of Legal and Governance, this role will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and maintaining effective and compliant data protection processes and promoting good practices across the parkrun global movement. The role will sit within a small Legal and Governance team and provide day-to-day assistance and practical, solution-focused advice across the organisation. 

The Data Protection Officer will act independently in carrying out their statutory responsibilities under applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, and will play a key role in embedding a strong culture of data protection and responsible data use across parkrun’s global operations.

A key focus of the role will be working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to build understanding of data protection requirements, deliver effective training and guidance, and support colleagues to take a practical and pragmatic approach to managing data protection risks in their work.

We are looking for both a Senior Data Investigator and a Data Investigator to join our Data Investigations Team in delivering a major new project focused on abandoned and orphaned oil and gas wells in Europe. About the Rhodes Trust

The Rhodes Trust is an educational charity which offers Rhodes Scholarships to exceptional students from around the world to come and study at the University of Oxford. Our mission is to build a better world through global fellowship programmes that develop and connect compassionate, innovative, and public-spirited people committed to solving humanity’s challenges.

In recent years, we have also partnered with several other remarkable organisations to create the Mandela Rhodes Foundation, the Atlantic Institute, Schmidt Science Fellows, RISE and Oxford Next Horizons.

The role will be responsible for;

· Liaise with the Data Systems Manager to ensure smooth transfer of data from Selection and Outreach platforms (e.g the Trust’s application system, Embark) into the Trust’s Data Warehouse.

· Create and maintain, data visualisation dashboards (via an existing interface) based on real-time application data for the active application round.

· Develop and deliver clear and effective data reports/data visualisations for the Selection & Outreach team, the Scholarship Committee, the Board of Trustees and individual projects based on bespoke requirements.

· Act as a Salesforce ‘superuser’; provide support to the Selection and Outreach team in the creation of reports etc in Salesforce and share best practice.

· Work with the Data Protection Office and relevant cross-team groups to remain up to date on GDPR requirements, and ensure compliance across the Selection and Outreach team.

· Support data-related requests, including facilitating subject access requests in collaboration with the Data Protection Office (e.g. collating relevant documentation)

· Role modelling the Trust’s organisational values of commitment, inclusion, belonging, growth and innovation.

· Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role, as requested.

· A deep commitment to the values, ethos and mission of the Rhodes Trust.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- Degree or equivalent in a discipline with a substantial quantitative analytical component (e.g. statistics, economics, management science/operations research, finance or data analytics) and/or relevant experience working as a data analyst

- Demonstrable expertise in deploying a range of software packages to manipulate and analyse data (please indicate software used in your application).

- Experience using Tableau

- Proficient in using MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis 

- Experience of using SQL

- Ability to tell a story with data using data visualisation skills

- Familiarity with CRM systems

- Strong research skills

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- Knowledge of GDPR and experience of handing relevant requests (e.g. Subject Access Requests)

- Experience using Salesforce

Position

This is a newly created role leading Lumos’ AI, data, and technology agenda. You will shape our digital direction while ensuring systems, data, and tools are secure, effective, and aligned with organisational growth.

Working closely with our outsourced IT provider (who manages day-to-day operations), you will provide strategic oversight, governance, and continuous improvement across systems, data, and AI.

The role will suit someone who can bridge strategy and delivery, bringing both structure and innovation to a global, mission-driven organisation.

Requirements

• Experience leading or overseeing IT, data, or digital functions
• Strong understanding of systems, cloud environments, and integrations
• Experience in data governance, reporting, and analytics (e.g. Power BI)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT governance, and risk management
• Familiarity with AI tools and responsible AI practices
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional working

Desirable: international experience, digital transformation exposure, GDPR knowledge
