About the role

We’re looking for a senior digital marketing manager – email to jointly lead our team as part of a job share to deliver high performing email campaigns and automations to support the charity’s activity. Pro Bono Community is seeking a Training and Volunteer Coordinator to help us achieve greater access to justice.

Pro Bono Community is a registered charity that has developed specialised training programmes for students, trainees and lawyers covering the practical skills involved in delivering free legal advice and areas of social welfare law. In conjunction with the training, the charity arranges and manages volunteering placements at Law Centres and other advice agencies. The charity’s activities include a number of grant-funded projects which the coordinator will be heavily involved in.

About the role

Pro Bono Community is looking for a Training and Volunteer Coordinator to help us run programmes aimed at improving the amount and quality of access to justice by training law students and others and then placing them to work as volunteers at advice agencies.

The Training and Volunteer Coordinator will report to and work alongside the Director to undertake work supporting the charity’s activities with a focus on recruiting and training students and lawyers and then coordinating volunteering placements for them at Law Centres and advice agencies. The role also includes administrative work relating to a pioneering digital advice clinic the charity runs in conjunction with a Citizens Advice agency in London.

This is a full-time role with a salary of £31-35,000 depending on experience and the charity is seeking to appoint someone with knowledge of training and the legal/advice sectors and/or experience in a similar role. Occasional weekend work may be required. The role will involve working from home with some travel involved to London and elsewhere in support of the charity’s activities. The role includes annual leave of 25 days and a workplace pension scheme.

Responsibilities

Training and General Administration

· Producing and printing publicity and training materials

As our Senior Digital Marketing Officer you will be responsible for boosting our income through online engagement, marketing and stewardship. The role includes responsibility for delivering paid advertising across various platforms (currently META, PPC, Reddit and TikTok) driving income through direct gifts, challenge event participation and other income generation activities.

Writing, designing and delivering our supporter emails, and overall supporter journeys, is also a key component of the role, boosting digital engagement with a view to driving additional income over time.

A supporter opens an email at a moment they’re looking to understand why Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer, and how together we can beat dementia through fundraising, research, and campaigning activities. They discover an email created using evidence and insight to inspire action and build trust.

What you’ll do
You’ll create and deliver email and SMS campaigns that clearly communicate that Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer and the solutions we offer, in a thoughtful and genuinely helpful way to the people receiving them. You’ll think about how messages feel as well as how they perform, making sure they are accessible and reach the right person at the right time and through the right channel.
You’ll work alongside colleagues from different teams to plan and improve their campaigns, offering feedback in a way that builds confidence and supports learning. You’ll also develop and manage content calendars, helping to make sure our communications are joined up, relevant and aligned with what matters most to our supporters.
Part of your role will involve building and improving automated journeys and integrations, helping to create smoother, more personalised experiences. You’ll spend time looking at performance data, running tests and using what you learn to keep improving how we communicate.
You’ll also be a go-to person for our email and SMS platforms, sharing your knowledge, answering questions and helping others develop their skills.

Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) is seeking an experienced and compassionate ESOL Coordinator to support our Community Hub Project. You will coordinate ESOL volunteers and resources, manage referrals and assessments to place users in classes, and administer registrations using RAK systems. Working closely with the Community Hub Manager, you will help deliver a blended ESOL programme that supports community integration, confidence and language development for refugees and people seeking asylum.

Key responsibilities 

• Coordinate ESOL referrals, assessments, attendance and class allocations. 

• Welcome service users and communicate class information and reminders. 

• Induct, support and coordinate ESOL volunteers. 

• Support lesson planning and learner engagement in ESOL and wider community opportunities. 

• Maintain accurate, confidential records and contribute to monitoring and evaluation.

Little Village is entering an exciting new phase as it approaches its 10-year milestone and prepares to launch its next strategy. QuarterFive are partneruing with Little Villag to find a Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications to play a central role in shaping its future – leading how the organisation grows income, strengthens its brand and amplifies its voice. Sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead a newly integrated fundraising, marketing and communications department, driving a cohesive, high-performing function and building on strong foundations to deliver a more strategic, scalable and insight-led approach.

With an income base with high potential for growth and particular strength in high-value fundraising, there is significant opportunity to grow and diversify income further, while also increasing visibility and influence at a time when public awareness of child poverty is rising.

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader with a track record in delivering income growth. You will be motivated by impact and excited to help drive Little Village’s next phase, strengthening long-term income and increasing its influence.

This role is home-based with regular travel to Little Village hubs across London. Core hours: 09:30-15:00. Weekly or fortnightly team and SLT meetings in London plus other meetings as needed.

As Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, you will:

• Lead and deliver an integrated fundraising, marketing and communications strategy aligned to organisational priorities
• Set and achieve ambitious income targets across multiple streams, including high-value philanthropy and partnerships
• Develop a more structured, data-informed approach to fundraising, including pipelines, forecasting and performance management
• Oversee brand and communications, ensuring a clear, compelling and consistent narrative
• Build and steward relationships with major donors, partners and senior stakeholders
• Act as a senior ambassador, raising Little Village’s profile and influence
• Lead and develop a high-performing, collaborative team

Essential skills and experience:

• A strong track record of developing and delivering successful multi-stream fundraising strategies, weighted towards high value income streams including major donors, corporates, and trusts and foundations
• Proven success in securing significant and multi-year funding
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Exposure to or interest in mass fundraising
• Strong financial, forecasting and pipeline management skills
• Expertise in working with senior stakeholders/volunteers, ideally including reporting to Committees and Trustee boards
• A successful track record of involvement in launching, managing, and evaluating campaigns
• Strong understanding of brand management, digital engagement, and integrated campaigns across multiple channels
• Understanding of digital transformation, including CRM/data integration, marketing automation, and analytics
• A data-informed approach, with experience using insight and systems to drive performance
• Excellent influencing, relationship-building and storytelling skills

• Experience leading an integrated fundraising and communications function within a frontline charity
