What you'll be doing

About the role
The role is within Shelter, but you will also be part of Sheffield City Council’s HALT team which is multi-agency and works to support people sleeping rough who have drug and alcohol dependence needs. You will work to help people to settle and sustain their homes, support them to access and maintain engagement with substance treatment services. Making sure that Shelter is central to local systems change for people experiencing multiple disadvantages will be a key part of the role, representing Shelter at multi meetings and panels as well as monitoring impact and outcome to report to our funders.
About you
You will have a sound understanding of support and housing issues and experience of working with people with multiple disadvantage. You also have knowledge of safeguarding frameworks, drug and alcohol use and treatment and pathways and experience of working with multiple agencies to support people.
