This vital role within the Landmark Trust’s fundraising team focuses on delivering excellent supporter engagement across the Landmark Friends, Lundy Friends and Marisco Club supporter schemes. You will manage the day-to-day administration of these groups with the highest standards of supporter care and deliver a programme of small events and communications to engage and retain these supporters. Working closely with the Development Manager (Patrons) and other colleagues in Development, you will also support the delivery of events for the Landmark Patrons, and other supporters as needed.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in giving high-quality customer service, with strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail. You will be comfortable speaking to supporters on the phone and at in-person at events, drafting personalised letters and emails, and managing various administrative tasks. While fundraising experience isn’t essential, you will bring experience of a customer-facing or supporter-focused role, excellent organisational skills and, ideally, of working with databases. An interest in the charity sector, and heritage in particular, would be an advantage.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to develop a career in fundraising and supporter engagement within a unique heritage organisation.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporter engagement, stewardship and recruitment
- Deliver excellent supporter care, responding to enquiries, welcoming new Friends and Lundy supporters and building relationships to ensure that all supporters feel valued and appreciated, and to grow and retain the Landmark and Lundy supporter base.
- Support donor stewardship activities, including drafting timely thank-you communications, responding to email and telephone enquiries, assisting with the production of regular newsletters, and impact stories.
- Work alongside the Development Manager (Patrons) to promote all the Landmark Trust’s supporter schemes to existing Landmark contacts and new audiences.
- Work alongside the Development Manager (Patrons) and the Lundy Managing Director on Lundy supporter recruitment, promoting the Lundy schemes to the islands’ visitors, followers, and new audiences.
Event coordination and delivery
- Work alongside the Development Manager (Patrons) to:
- coordinate the regular programme of online talks for all supporter schemes
- plan, coordinate and deliver the regular programme of in person events for Landmark Friends, including site visits to Landmark properties and other places of interest.
- Support the Development Manager (Patrons) with the delivery of the Patrons event programme.
- Work within the wider Development team to assist with the planning and delivery of other supporter events, as required e.g. during the fundraising phase of a project.
- Manage event logistics including invitations, RSVPs, guest lists, internal safety and briefing materials and liaising with venues.
- Represent the Landmark Trust, with other members of the Development team, at events.
Data management and administration
- Maintain accurate supporter records within the CRM system, ensuring that data held is accurate, up to date and in line with current best practice in the sector.
- Assist with reporting on fundraising performance and campaigns.
Communications
- Support the creation of engaging content for all supporter schemes across email, digital, and print channels.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Marketing and Engagement teams to support social media posts and wider Landmark communications relating to the supporter schemes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in Marketing, and external agencies, as required, to produce the annual Landmark calendar.
General
- To work closely and harmoniously with colleagues in all respects

The role

About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Newham. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in the East Ham area.
IPS services at Working Well Trust have been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adhere to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment.
This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain and sustain paid employment.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. About the role

As a member of the wider service leadership team, you will be required to work flexibly across the service, and this will involve travel across Greater Manchester. You will be part of the on-call rota system providing out of hours guidance, this averages one week in every 2 months for which there is an on-call payment. You'll also help establish our individual and legacy giving programme, researching and cultivating prospective donors, making fundraising approaches, developing donor stewardship and putting appropriate systems in place for donor data and Gift Aid.
Alongside this, you'll contribute to fundraising strategy, impact and evaluation, cases for support, fundraising communications, reporting and compliance.
About you
We're looking for someone with solid practical fundraising experience and a track record of securing income who is ready to take the next step in their career and possesses all or most of the following:
- a successful track record in fundraising relevant to this role, preferably in arts, heritage and/or community organisations;
- experience managing your own fundraising workload or portfolio with a good degree of independence;
- the confidence to use your judgement, make recommendations and move work forward without extensive day-to-day supervision;
- experience taking responsibility for fundraising targets or income goals;
- a strong understanding of fundraising trends, especially within the arts, heritage and community sectors;
- an understanding of the role of fundraising in organisational growth;
- knowledge of fundraising regulations, data protection, ethical standards and best practice;
- experience using CRM systems, databases or other tools for data mining and supporting prospecting;

You don't need to have previously been a Head of Fundraising or run an entire fundraising function. You might currently be a Fundraising Officer, Senior Fundraising Officer, Development Officer or similar and be ready for a role with more responsibility and scope to use your own judgement.
Above all, we're looking for someone who combines fundraising knowledge and real experience with initiative. You won't be expected to arrive knowing everything about Lauderdale House, but you should have enough fundraising experience to recognise opportunities, recommend a course of action and confidently take responsibility for delivering it.

The Services

Some residents may present with behaviours associated with their mental health, including heightened anxiety, emotional dysregulation, suicidal ideation, self-neglect or periods of crisis. The successful candidate must be comfortable working within these settings.
Service 2 - LGBTQ+ supported housing service. We provide both shared and self-contained accommodation, commissioned by LB Haringey, offering housing and tailored support to LGBTQI+ adults aged 25 and over.
This service supports individuals who may face challenges within mainstream homelessness provision due to their sexual orientation or gender identity, as well as those who have expressed a preference to live within an LGBTQI+-specific environment.

The Role
You’ll work closely with foster carers and social work colleagues to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support and improve outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice responsibility for areas of TACT Wales, including managing Social Work staff, Students, Placement team, Admin Team and Children’s Support Workers.
- In conjunction with the Fostering Service Manager, ensure the recruitment, selection, supervision, performance reviews and PDP’s of supervisees
- Undertake HR related matters as required in liaison with TACT’s People Department (in conjunction with the Fostering Service Manager).
- Support the area management team in planning and managing appropriate social work, outreach, out of hours support and administrative arrangements.
- Assist the Fostering Service Manager in the management and leadership of the team, using a trauma-informed therapeutic approach.
- Supporting the co-ordination of out-of-hours rotas and a daily duty rota.
- Prepare and contribute to regular team and management meetings and development of the service including business and practice planning.
- To ensure all practice follows TACT’s child protection procedures.
- Managing complex child protection and safeguarding concerns within regulatory, policy and procedural guidelines.
- Responsibility for quality assurance in relation to case files
- You may also be responsible for supervising a small number of foster carers dependent on need and/or complexity.
