Salary: £47,000 FTE
Contract: Permanent, Part-time (3 days per week Wed-Fri/ 21 hours)
Location: London Hybrid – 50% of time in the office

We are very excited to be looking for a Direct Marketing Manager (Job share) to join the incredible team at Battersea Dogs and Cats home, an amazing organisation dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable animals and the people who care for them. With a long-standing reputation and ambitious plans to expand its impact, Battersea are currently investing heavily in income generation as part of an exciting multi-year strategy. This is a brilliant opportunity to take ownership of key income streams and play a pivotal role in shaping future fundraising success during a period of transformation and growth.

As part of this exciting role, you will lead on the development and delivery of the direct marketing programme, with a particular focus on cash appeals and raffle campaigns. You will oversee campaign planning, budgeting and performance analysis, ensuring activity delivers against income targets and KPIs. Managing and developing a small team, you’ll champion best practice in direct marketing, test and optimise new acquisition channels, and drive supporter retention through insight-led strategies.

To be successful as the Direct Marketing Manager you will need:

  • Proven experience delivering successful direct marketing acquisition and retention campaigns, with strong understanding of performance metrics
  • Strong knowledge of data segmentation, targeting and supporter insight to inform campaigns
  • Experience managing or developing teams, with the ability to motivate and drive performance
