Role Context
Recovery in Community is a successful partnership between Manchester Mind and Gaddum. We support people to manage and live with their mental health in their community. Staff are employed by both organisations but work together collaboratively and as a team.
Role Purpose
You will be building trusting and kind relationships with the understanding that they enable people to be listened to and heard and that this makes a difference.
You will work with people prior to discharge from mental health hospital and then support the person get the care they need so they can recover in the community. We want to enable people to feel connected within their communities – to services, friends and family.
This role will work with a small but intensive caseload (max 15 cases) to focus on:
· Get people home: when people are sent to an out of area placement (OAPs) advocate to get them back to Greater Manchester so they can recover in their community.
· Discharge: Supporting people when they’re ready to be discharged from inpatient mental health services to get back to the community and recover.
· Prevent re-admissions: Work with people, post-discharge, to ensure they continue to get the support they need to make informed choices, stay well and ultimately thrive.

Main responsibilities:
· To provide support to people that are ready to be discharged from inpatient psychiatric care to return to the community with the services and resources they need to recover.
· To work alongside people post-discharge, in their community setting to ensure they get what they need to stay well.

As Mass Participation Event Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the programme while driving continued growth in income, participation and supporter engagement. Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager who will be responsible for leading the delivery of Rainbow Trust’s Corporate and Community Fundraising strategy and operational plans, which is aligned with the charity’s wider business plan.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and leading a team of four fundraisers to meet combined income targets of over £2M, the post holder will build strong relationships with senior corporate stakeholders, trustees, ambassadors and supporters, acting as an advocate for the charity and ensuring exceptional stewardship.
The role will maximise income, engagement and long-term partnership opportunities across corporate partners, community organisations and volunteer fundraisers. With overall accountability for delivering significant income growth for the organisation.
What we’re looking for:
A friendly, enthusiastic and experienced fundraiser who achieves results through people – you are socially focused and resilient, enjoy networking and are able to quickly connect with others and build effective working relationships.
A motivating, empathetic and persuasive communicator – you have a selling communications style, are an experienced bid writer, and a confident public speaker with experience of presenting to panels or addressing large audiences.
Knowledge of different corporate and community fundraising initiatives, including charity of the year, cause related marketing and strategic partnerships – you understand the components of a mutually beneficial and multi-faceted partnership, and have proven experience of prospect management and winning new business.
You thrive working in a busy environment on multiple priorities simultaneously – results-oriented and a fast learner, you respond quickly to pressure and a changing environment.
You are confident using data to inform decision making – you can leverage past learning to drive success in future opportunities.

The Humanitarian Management Trainee Scheme presents an unparalleled learning opportunity for early-career professionals who are committed to a career in humanitarian work. The Humanitarian Management Trainee Scheme consists of an 18-month pathway designed to provide in-depth exposure to humanitarian health programming through a structured professional development plan. You will embed within a team, gaining practical experience and contributing actively to its work and priorities and those of the wider organisation, both at Headquarters and in the field. Alongside this, you will undertake formal and informal professional development through training, mentoring, shadowing and on-the-job learning.
