We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Manager, Policy Fellowships and Systems in Government to play a leading role in the Academy’s policy programmes work. Joining the Policy Programmes team within the Policy and International Directorate, you will help connect policymakers with engineering expertise and systems thinking to address complex policy and delivery challenges across government. Drawing on your understanding of the UK policy landscape, you will lead the design and delivery of high-quality policy fellowships, systems-based programmes, workshops and events that strengthen capability across government.
Working closely with senior policymakers, Academy Fellows and expert partners, you will build trusted relationships that shape programme content, maximise impact and ensure our work remains relevant to government priorities. You will oversee programme planning, budgets, evaluation and stakeholder engagement while supporting the continued evolution of our policy fellowships and systems offer.
As you further develop programmes and partnerships, you will play an important role in positioning the Academy as a trusted partner to government and a leader in applying engineering-informed systems approaches to public policy. Job Purpose:
The Information Security and Data Protection Coordinator supports MSF UK and Ireland in the effective coordination and day‑to‑day operation of its information security and data protection arrangements. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Research and Evidence team and play a leading role in shaping the future of child health research. Working closely with senior clinicians, including the Officer for Research and the Officer for Genomics, you will lead a portfolio of projects and initiatives designed to support paediatricians in developing academic skills, engaging in research and preparing for emerging developments in healthcare, including genomic medicine.
Reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will lead the delivery of a range of research initiatives focused on building research capability across the profession and manage the RCPCH Genomics Programme. We are seeking an exceptional advocate with a policy, legal or related digital rights campaigning background to work with us furthering privacy and civil liberties in the UK at one of the UK’s leading rights NGOs. Initially, this role will be principally challenging facial recognition surveillance and scrutinising police surveillance/AI powers.
The right Senior Advocacy Officer will help us to lobby UK Parliament to further privacy and wider rights at a critical time – when a legal framework on police use of facial recognition is very soon to be introduced, and police are expanding their use of AI and new surveillance technologies. You’ll build on your strong experience to be a credible and proactive lobbyist in Parliament, write expert briefings and be confident meeting parliamentarians, take a leading role liaising with policy stakeholders, advise on strategic litigation, be a leading advocate in the press and the public forum, develop policy positions on key issues, and help drive our public campaigns for change.
About you
You’ll have 3+ years experience in a legal or policy capacity, or in a comparable advocacy environment that relied on your expertise on technology and rights issues – ideally involving facial recognition. You’ll have a strong track record of advocacy success.
You’ll be familiar with key litigation and policy issues in the area. You’ll also have excellent knowledge of British politics and UK parliamentary procedures and strong political contacts to match.
You’ll be at ease working on a strictly non-partisan, cross-party basis and grounding policy analysis in human rights and liberal principles.

About the role
The Development Team is responsible for generating income to support the organisation. They raise income from philanthropists, corporates, trusts and foundations, individuals and community fundraisers, building strategic partnerships that deliver long-term, sustainable funding and deepen engagement.
The Donor Communications Officer sits within the Development team and reports into the Head of Philanthropy and will work closely also with the President and COO, supporting them in their communications with donors. You will also work closely with the Communications Team.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Support and Governance, the role works alongside the Fundraising Supporter Services and Standards Manager, Retail Operations Manager and Retail Support & Projects Manager.
The Commercial Directorate incorporates Fundraising and Retail Operations alongside other Commercial activities such as the International Learning Academy at Sue Ryder. The role will focus predominantly on fundraising operations compliance and provide leadership and assurance guidance for other commercial operations.
