The funds we raise also support vital, pioneering research and clinical trials led by the exceptional medical experts at Weston Park Cancer Centre.  It’s our job to care in every sense for our patients and their families.  Our help is free, and we’re here for you, together every step.

What you do 

Main purpose of post

The Campaign Manager will lead the development and delivery of engaging, audience-focused campaigns that raise awareness of the charity, increase understanding of cancer support services, promote grant-giving programmes, and help drive fundraising growth across the region.

The role will focus on bringing the charity’s impact to life through powerful storytelling, creative campaigns, and compelling content that demonstrates how the charity supports people affected by cancer and invests in hospitals, healthcare services, and local communities.

Working across fundraising, services, and communications, the Campaign Manager will develop integrated campaigns that inspire support, strengthen community engagement, and increase the visibility and reach of the charity.

Key Responsibilities 

Campaign Development & Delivery

• Develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns that support the charity’s strategic priorities and objectives.

• Create awareness campaigns that promote the charity brand, support services, fundraising activities, and grant-giving programmes.

• Lead campaign planning from concept through to delivery and evaluation.

• Ensure campaigns are audience-focused, emotionally engaging, and aligned with the charity’s values and tone of voice.

• Coordinate campaign timelines, budgets, assets, and stakeholder input to ensure successful delivery.

Demonstrating Impact Through Storytelling

• Develop compelling campaign content that demonstrates the real-life impact of the charity’s work.

• Showcase how fundraising supports people affected by cancer, healthcare improvements, hospital services, community initiatives, and wellbeing programmes.

• Gather and develop case studies, patient stories, supporter testimonials, videos, photography, and impact data.

• Work sensitively with beneficiaries, families, healthcare professionals, and grant recipients to capture authentic stories.

• Translate complex healthcare or grant information into accessible and engaging public-facing content.

Supporting Fundraising Growth

• Create campaigns that help increase fundraising income and supporter engagement.

• Support community fundraising, events, corporate partnerships, individual giving, and appeals through targeted campaign activity.

• Develop supporter journeys and engagement campaigns that encourage donations, participation, and long-term loyalty.

• Identify opportunities to broaden audience reach and attract new supporters.

Awareness of Services & Grant-Giving

• Increase awareness of the charity’s support services among people affected by cancer, carers, healthcare professionals, and local communities.

• Promote grant-funded projects and partnerships across hospitals and community settings.

• Work collaboratively with service delivery teams and healthcare partners to communicate outcomes and opportunities effectively.

• Support campaigns that improve access to services and reach underserved audiences.

Content & Communications

• Develop campaign content across digital, print, social media, email, video, PR, and advertising channels.

• Work with designers, photographers, videographers, agencies, and suppliers where required.

• Ensure all campaign materials are accurate, accessible, inclusive, and on brand.

• Contribute to website content, newsletters, impact reports, and social media storytelling.

Monitoring & Evaluation

• Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting on engagement, reach, conversions, and impact.

• Use audience insights, analytics, and feedback to optimise campaign effectiveness.

• Evaluate return on investment and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Relationship Management

• Build strong relationships across fundraising, services, healthcare partners, community organisations, and external suppliers.

• Act as a positive ambassador for the charity at events, meetings, and partnership activities.

• Support collaborative working across teams to maximise campaign impact.

These opportunities make the Marketing & Fundraising Manager position varied and interesting, with plenty of possibility to grow and develop in the role. 

Job Purpose:

The Marketing & Fundraising Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing St Hilda’s East’s marketing strategy and will take the lead in organising fundraising events and securing funds from individual donations, and rental and room hire income.

They will lead on communications with external stakeholders through the development and implementation of SHE’s marketing plans and social media strategy. There will be a particular focus on strengthening our unique link with the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies’ College, as well as with parents and pupils of the school – to raise awareness of the impact of St. Hilda’s East and to organise joint events. The postholder will work alongside freelance fundraisers who focus on maximising grant income.

It is not essential to have experience in the non-profit sector; we would love to hear from you if you have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment and are looking to bring your talents to the charity sector.

Join the Estates team at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability and play a key role in protecting patients, staff, visitors and infrastructure through expert fire risk management and fire safety training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional to act as RHN’s competent person for fire risk management, leading on compliance, training, risk assessment and continuous improvement across a complex healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on fire risk management and support statutory compliance across the RHN estate
• Oversee fire risk assessments, audits and remedial action plans
• Provide specialist technical advice on fire safety, capital projects and building compliance
• Develop and deliver role-specific fire safety training programmes
• Support emergency preparedness, evacuation planning and incident response
• Work closely with clinical teams, estates, contractors and external regulators including the Fire & Rescue Service
• Monitor fire safety performance, analyse trends and contribute to governance reporting.

Essential criteria:

• Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety (or working towards)
• Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment (or equivalent)
• At least 12 months’ experience in a fire safety or fire risk management role
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
• Building Regulations 2010
• Fire risk assessment principles and fire safety legislation
• Experience identifying and managing complex fire risks
• Experience developing or delivering fire safety training programmes
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

The Training Team is part of Business Development and delivers high quality, evidence based mental health training to organisations across Leeds and Yorkshire. Our training helps workplaces build awareness, confidence and practical skills to support mental health and wellbeing for their employees.

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, engaging and experienced Mental Health & Wellbeing Trainer to join our growing Business Development team who can deliver, develop and continuously improve high-quality learning experiences. You will deliver a wide range of training to corporate clients, using interactive, inclusive and evidence-based approaches. Alongside delivery, you will play a key role in developing innovative training products and ensuring our offer remains relevant, engaging and impactful for modern workplaces. About the Role
As Team Manager, you’ll lead and develop a dedicated team of support staff delivering recovery‑focused, person‑centred services. Working collaboratively with customers, staff, and partners, you’ll ensure the service operates safely, effectively, and in line with best practice, contractual standards, and Peabody values.

You’ll oversee a rota‑based staff team and play a key role in ensuring continuity, quality, and positive outcomes across the service. This role may also include participation in Mental Health out‑of‑hours on‑call arrangements, as required.

You’ll lead and shape a high‑quality, recovery‑focused service that supports people with mental health needs and dual diagnosis to live more independently and safely. Through strong leadership and collaboration, you’ll ensure staff deliver person‑centred, trauma‑informed support that promotes wellbeing, harm minimisation, and positive move‑on outcomes. You’ll also build strong partnerships with external agencies and continuously improve the service to achieve the best possible outcomes for customers.

What You’ll Bring With You

• Experience of effectively managing and developing staff through regular supervision, meetings, and performance support 
• Strong knowledge and experience within mental health and dual diagnosis services 
• Confidence managing budgets, monitoring outcomes, and meeting legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements 
• A clear understanding of safeguarding, with experience protecting vulnerable people from abuse and harm 
• A sound knowledge of best practice in mental health support, including recovery‑focused and trauma‑informed approaches 
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, including supervising dispersed or rota‑based teams, writing clear reports, and using IT systems such as databases and MS Office

This role operates Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with an on-call requirement on a rota basis (approximately every 6 weeks).

Supporting adults experiencing acute emotional distress, the service provides an alternative to inpatient admission through early intervention, recovery-focused support, and collaborative care planning.

Are you an experienced mental health or social care professional ready to lead on a new crisis service at the interface if A&E and community care?

We are recruiting a Clinically Led Team Manager to support mobilisation of a brand-new pilot in North Essex. The service will provide targeted support to individuals who frequently present to A&E in mental health crisis, following self-harm, suicide attempt or suicidal ideation. This is a leadership role for an experienced mental health or social care professional. You will combine operational management with clinical oversight to ensure safe, evidence-based and trauma-informed crisis interventions.

Salary of £28,500 - £31,500 per annum, pro rata. Starting salary will be dependent on whether the successful candidate holds relevant mental health or social care qualification.

The Role

As team manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the pilot. You will lead a small team to deliver high standards of practice, safe risk management, develop effective pathways between hospital and community teams, and maintain strong alignment with Phoenix Futures’ values and organisational priorities.

You will have oversight of data quality, reporting and performance management in order to demonstrate the impact of the pilot to commissioners and wider stakeholders.

The pilot will focus on Colchester General Hospital A&E department, and the role will be based in our Colchester office, although travel may be required across North Essex to ensure effective service delivery.

This role requires confidence and professional judgement.

About You

You will be a qualified and experienced mental health of social care professional who is confident working with high-risk, complex presentations. You will bring credibility within multi-disciplinary settings and be motivated by the opportunity to shape and lead a new crisis service at the interface between hospital and community care.

To join us a Team Manager you will have:

• A recognised professional qualification in mental health or social care (desirable)
• Experience supporting people with complex needs within mental health, social work, substance use, or related services
• Experience of managing and supporting staff, ideally within a frontline or clinical environment
• A strong understanding of risk management, safeguarding, and multi-agency working
• The confidence to make sound professional judgements when working with high-risk presentations
• The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with partner agencies, including NHS services, adult social care, and treatment providers
• Experience of monitoring performance and reporting data to managers and commissioners
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance operational demands with quality and safety

You will also bring:

• A flexible and innovative approach to service delivery

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Attendance and Wellbeing Practitioner to join the Harris Federation on a fixed-term basis from September 2026 to August 2029.

This role is part of an exciting project taking place in our Croydon secondary academies to improve school attendance by addressing barriers caused by poor mental health. The role involves working collaboratively with school attendance teams and external agencies to identify students at risk of persistent absence, using data-driven approaches and evidence-based interventions.

This role is term time only plus three weeks, and the actual salary will be £33,012-£35,000 (41 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week).

Interviews will take place on 8th June 2026.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

By managing a caseload of students, delivering targeted one-to-one and group support, and working with parents, you will implement strategies that support attendance and wellbeing. You will also contribute to the research and evaluation of the project, in partnership with Maudsley Education Consulting Service (MECS), our partners in this work. Effective communication, safeguarding, and accurate record-keeping are integral to supporting students, families and schools in achieving positive outcomes.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• A qualification in CYP mental health e.g. Child Wellbeing Practitioner, Education Welfare Practitioner, counsellor
• A degree, or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of the range of barriers to learning that students face
• Training in child protection and safeguarding procedures
• Experience of working in an inner-city school or educational establishment in a pastoral capacity
• Experience of working with young people in a one to one and/or group capacity on a range of mental health issues
• Experience of working with families
• Experience of working with challenging students and parents, and finding ways in which we can meet their needs more successfully
• Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice
• Willing to contribute knowledge and experience to the Harris Home Academy Liaison Officers
• Understanding of principles of student development and learning processes
• Ability to advocate for CYP and their families to get support within school and with external agencies
• Ability to plan effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving due to poor attendance

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified bookkeeper to join our small staff team in a part-time Finance Manager role. As a successful local charity with a committed and engaged board of Trustees, you'll be helping support young people with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

You'll be responsible for managing the charity's day-to-day financial matters, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded, maintaining compliance with statutory and charity requirements and tracking specific project funds so the organisation can report transparently to donors and trustees. The role is available either as paye or on a freelance basis at £25 per hour. It's mainly remote working, with occasional time spent in the Twickenham office. 

Responsibilities

• Dealing with all the day-to-day financial activities of the charity (the charity uses QuickBooks). In particular, processing and setting up for payment, supplier invoices and expense claims; issuing invoices for services or grants; recording donations, fundraising proceeds, and grant receipts, and reconciling all bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card statements. The recording in QuickBooks involves fund accounting, as some income is restricted and some is unrestricted.
• Managing and recording the transactions from outsourced payroll and pension providers.
• Production of Quarterly management accounts using an Excel template.
• Production of cash flow forecasts.
• Attendance at Business Committee Meetings on Zoom 6 times a year.
• Preparing the required schedules and liaison with the external Independent Examiner, in order for them to sign-off the charity’s statutory accounts in line with the Charities SORP.
• Generating financial analyses required by grant-makers regarding the utilisation of money granted by them to the charity.
• Processing gift aid claims.
• Working with the Manager and Treasurer to prepare the charity’s annual budget.
