Young Women’s Trust champions young women aged 18 to 30 on low or no pay. We’re here to create a more equal world of work and raise young women’s incomes. We offer young women free coaching, feedback on job applications and information to help them get where they want to be. We bring together a network of thousands of young women to support each other, build their self-belief, and have their voices heard. We work with young women to campaign for equality in the workplace. And our research provides insight into what young women’s lives are really like, fuelling our campaigns for change.
The Digital Engagement Officer will deliver on the organisation’s content and engagement strategies to build a powerful digital social movement for young women’s rights. While the Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager (SMDMM) oversees the broader management of our platforms and supporter journeys, the DEO focuses on the narrative and creative execution required to influence change and engage diverse audiences.
You will be responsible for translating research and policy into persuasive public messaging that drives deep participation and systemic change for young women on low or no pay. As well as creating high-impact, platform ready content that converts followers into donors, and young women into active users of YWT’s services and campaigns actions.

We’re looking for a Sanctuary & Racial Justice Officer to build inclusive communities by helping parishes across Kent become more welcoming, accessible and culturally aware for refugees, asylum seekers and newcomers.
Reporting to the Strategic Lead for Sanctuary & Racial Justice, you’ll coordinate existing Welcome Hubs in Canterbury and help launch new hubs in Folkestone, Ashford and Dover. Working with churches, volunteers, councils and community partners, you’ll strengthen local sanctuary, deliver racial justice training and develop practical tools that embed justice into everyday ministry.
This is an exciting, hands-on, people-centric role with so much variety — part community development, part volunteer leadership, as well as a mixture of training and partnership working.
We’re looking for someone with experience of supporting vulnerable people and working with volunteers, a good understanding of racial justice in practice and strong organisational and communication skills. You’ll be confident working across communities, able to manage multiple priorities and be motivated by seeing people and parishes flourish.

Purpose of the job

Role Purpose:
The Fundraising & Marketing team’s purpose is to advocate for and raise flexible and unrestricted funding to enable Womankind to deliver it’s 2030 organisational strategy.
The Fundraising and Marketing Officer supports the growth of Womankind’s fundraising income by delivering engaging, donor-focused fundraising and marketing activity across online and offline channels. Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager (IGM), the role develops and delivers fundraising appeals, email campaigns, newsletters, and fundraising-led social media content to strengthen donor retention and supporter engagement. The role leads on coordinating impactful storytelling for the fundraising team and supports high-value donor activity by using CRM insight to tailor communications in collaboration with the Philanthropy Manager.
Areas of responsibilities:
Individual Giving – Support the IGM to develop and deliver online and offline fundraising appeals and email/mail newsletter updates to maintain high donor retention levels amongst existing supporters and raise cash income. Work with IGM and Fundraising & Database Officer (FDO) to ensure our supporters receive excellent supporter care through planning and implementing donor journeys.
Storytelling – Co-ordinate the fundraising team’s approach to storytelling in line with Womankind’s funding charter by working closely with the Communications team and wider organisation to gather information, updates, video content & images that demonstrate Womankind’s and our partners work and impact on women’s lives. Work closely with the Communications Officer to plan and deliver compelling fundraising and marketing content across social media channels, identifying new opportunities and approaches to improve our online presence and respond to supporter queries.
High value donor fundraising – Working closely with the Philanthropy Manager – Corporate Partnerships, implement Womankind’s high value donor plan, using the CRM to identify high value donor trends, cultivate prospects, and tailor communications as required.
Key relationships and collaboration:
• Internally : Work closely with the FDO, IGM and the wider Fundraising, Communications, Feminist Grantmaking and Partnerships and Policy and Advocacy teams.

Person Specification
Essential Experience:
• Experience of developing and implementing online and offline fundraising marketing campaigns, delivering them on time and on budget
• Excellent written communication skills with consistent attention to detail and experience of writing engaging, inspiring and persuasive copy for a range of media
• Experience of using Beacon or a similar fundraising CRM for marketing and collecting data, and for monitoring and analysing data to report against KPIs and inform future plans
• Proven experience using Mailchimp (or a similar email marketing platform) to plan, build, test, and deliver targeted fundraising campaigns and regular newsletter updates to segmented audiences
• Working knowledge and understanding of the importance of data capture, analysis and stewardship techniques

About the team
The Senior Global Fundraising Manager will report to the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising (Executive Director), currently based in WaterAid UK. They will be an integral member of the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive, made up of senior colleagues from across the WaterAid federation.
The WaterAid Federation consists of the International Secretariat, 7 members - Canada, USA, UK, Sweden, India, Japan and Australia, 3 Regional hubs and 22 country programme offices.
About the role
This role will play a strategic part in driving income growth across the WaterAid federation by proactively collaborating and learning, and seeking opportunities to strengthen our collective action, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Critically they will play a lead role in developing a long-term global income plan, ensuring that we make the best collective decisions for organisational growth and impact, and ensuring that risk is managed globally. The role holder will work closely with the Executive Director who is the Global Lead for Communications and Fundraising, in overseeing and driving action through the Global Communications and Fundraising Executive (GCFE) made up of communications and fundraising leaders across the federation; and leading key initiatives identified by this group.

We are looking for a part time Senior Philanthropy Officer for a 12 month contract, to identify, develop and manage a portfolio of funders and donors including trusts, foundations and major donors, maximising income through the development of co-ordinated stewardship and relationship management.
This is a 26 hour a week hybrid working role, with minimum once a fortnight on a Wednesday in the Cambridgeshire office. Ideal start date is mid May.

Support the team to deliver c£400k income target, through strong managent and stewardship a portfolio of trusts, foundations and major donors, with a strong focus on the the trust fundraising.
Identify, research and submit high quality applications to charitable trusts, foundations, major donors and organisations.
Identify tangible packages for funders to support and work closely with senior colleagues and members of other teams to develop content for applications and reporting.
Contribute to the effective delivery and development of the fundraising strategy.
The Candidate
Experience raising four/five figure income through trusts and/or major donors.
Ability to identify and research prospects, and move them through the philanthropy giving cycle to cultivate and maintain long term relationships.
Experience of producing funding proposals, bid writing or producing tender documents.
Experience of developing strong cases for support and compelling propositions.
Ability to analyse and interpret financial and operational statistics and other complex data sets.
