Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.
In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.
To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Head of Fundraising role. You will lead and work closely with the Trusts & Foundations Officer, Sponsorship & Individual Giving Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to deliver an annual income target of £400K+.

This fixed term role will provide cover with the current position-holder is on secondment with another team. Within the Individual Giving team, the Fundraising Manager will have responsibility for the planning and delivery of activities that recruit new supporters and generate income. You will manage our supporter recruitment programme, ensuring we meet our targets, and promoting investment strategies to cost-effectively and sustainably grow our supporter base. You will focus on the delivery of existing offline communication channels, as well as the development of new products, channels and audiences with a future-focused outlook on fundraising and recruitment. Over the next 12 months the new initiatives we plan to launch include a value exchange lead generation programme, improvements to our welcome journeys including the introduction of telemarketing, and potentially a lottery scheme. Working closely with the other Fundraising Managers (especially the Digital Fundraising Manager), you will also ensure that new recruits go on to become loyal supporters, taking the lead on some projects and contributing to others, and will help to feed the pipeline of legacy pledges. You will also work closely with the Digital Team to ensure thoughtful integration of acquisition activities to optimise spending and ensure a seamless experience for new supporters across channels.
About you

Age UK is recruiting for a Senior Email Marketing Executive - Fundraising, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
As Age UK's fundraising email expert, you'll be responsible for driving supporter engagement and income through excellent email marketing campaigns and strategies.
Working across teams, you'll support fundraising colleagues with email development and delivery. You'll build a culture of continuous improvement through testing plans, regular analysis and ongoing optimisations.
We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel for meetings etc. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

About the Role
We are looking for a Development Coordinator to support and develop Outside Edge Theatre Company’s fundraising and income generation.
Working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO, Trustees and external consultants, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of fundraising activity, with a particular focus on trust and foundation fundraising, individual giving, corporate relationships, supporter communications and donor stewardship.
This is a newly created role and we welcome applications from candidates interested in taking their first steps in a career in fundraising. Training, strategic support and development opportunities will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Management
– Research, prepare and write high-quality applications to trusts and foundations.
– Identify new funding opportunities and manage application deadlines.
– Coordinate funder acknowledgements, monitoring and evaluation reports.
– Support the development of statutory contracts and restricted project funding.
Individual & Major Giving
– Support the implementation of a new individual and major giving strategy.
– Analyse donor data to identify engagement and fundraising opportunities.
– Develop fundraising campaigns, donor events and personalised supporter communications.
– Lead supporter stewardship and cultivation events.
– Develop targeted content and approaches for high-net-worth individuals and corporate partners.
Corporate & Challenge Events

Communications & Administration

– Keep the development database up to date and use Salesforce and Mailchimp effectively.
– Ensure fundraising systems and procedures are effective and GDPR compliant.

Person Specification
We are looking for someone with:
– An interest in fundraising or supporter engagement, gained through paid work, volunteering or other relevant experience.
– Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt communications for different audiences and platforms.
– Experience in an administrative, fundraising, customer service or similar role.
– Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of people, including public speaking.
– Good IT skills; CRM experience is desirable.
– The ability to analyse data and identify trends.
– A positive, inspiring and collaborative approach.
– A passion and commitment to arts with social inclusion at its core.

The Royal British Legion is looking for an experienced and data-minded Senior Growth Manager to lead its supporter growth activity and help turn engagement into long-term income and loyalty.
This is a senior role focused on one of the biggest opportunities within RBL’s mass fundraising programme. You will lead the strategy for Growth, using data and supporter insight to shape targeted cross-sell, upsell and reactivation activity across individual giving. The focus will be on understanding what supporters need, when they are most likely to engage and how communications can strengthen the individual giving supporter experience while increasing lifetime value.
Reporting to the Head of Acquisition and Development, you will define Growth plans, set priorities and use performance data to understand what is working and where there is potential to improve.
Working closely with colleagues across Acquisition, Welcome, Retention, Planning, Data, Events, Legacies and other areas of Fundraising, you will help create a consistent supporter experience and ensure Growth activity contributes to wider fundraising objectives.
You will also lead and develop a Growth Manager and two Growth Officers, creating clarity, supporting high performance and ensuring the team has the insight and focus needed to deliver. Strong stakeholder management will be important, as you build effective relationships across RBL and with external agencies, bringing together different teams and priorities to deliver joined-up supporter journeys.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience of developing and delivering mass fundraising or customer communication strategies, with a strong understanding of individual giving, supporter experience and how data can be used to improve engagement and income.
You will have proven experience managing teams, working with complex programmes and budgets, and using insight to make informed decisions about audiences, communications and performance. You will be comfortable translating strategy into clear plans and measurable outcomes, while influencing stakeholders across a large and complex organisation.
