Mortlake Community Association is looking for an experienced Interim Director to join a vibrant and inclusive local charity in London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. The main purpose of the role is to maintain our growing profile as a community hub and support our range of varied activities. This is a full-time post (5 days a week), you will be studying for one day a week towards the Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting qualification and will need GCSE English and Maths (Level 4 or A-C grade) or equivalent.

We’re looking for someone reliable, happy to learn our IT systems, a confident communicator and most importantly, has a good eye for detail. There will be an assessment day at our Birmingham Centre on Tuesday 7th April and final interviews within two weeks of the assessment day.

You will play a key role in leading the day–to–day delivery of the service, providing effective management and leadership to a team of Early Help support workers and Early Help Development Workers. As the Service Manager, you will be required to work in partnership with the Operational Manager to support the strategic development of the integrated service offer for children and families living in the West of Birmingham. You will be required to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders and actively engage in local and district meetings and with Birmingham Childrens Trust.
