Job description

We’re inviting applications for a part-time Youth Programmes Coordinator (16–25 years) to join Aston-Mansfield, a long-established community charity working with young people and families in East London.

This is a hands-on youth work and coordination role, ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted relationships with young people while keeping programmes well organised and running smoothly. You’ll co-deliver engaging youth sessions, support young facilitators, and help coordinate projects that amplify youth voice, build confidence, and strengthen communities.

Role highlights:

  • Part-time: 3 days per week (flexible, including some evenings/weekends)
  • Salary: £33,000 pro rata (£18,000 for 3 days)
  • Based at Aston-Mansfield’s Community Centre and across Newham
  • Working with youth-led heritage and community programmes, including Breaking Boundaries Collective

We’re looking for someone with experience working with young people (ideally 16–25), strong safeguarding awareness, and a commitment to inclusion and anti-racist practice. A youth work qualification is desirable but not essential.

If you’re passionate about youth empowerment and want to be part of a supportive, values-driven organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
