As our Fundraising Officer (Corporate) you will be a key member of the income generation team for Winchester Hospice Fundraising Charity, joining at an exciting time following significant growth in revenue generation. The Candidate
Experience of administering and maintaining a supporter database and developing the database to improve functionality across all areas of fundraising.
Experience extracting data from a CRM based on complex inclusion and exclusion criteria, A good understanding of segmentation and the effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.
Good knowledge and experience of using a fundraising database for reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of GDPR and Fundraising Code of Practice as they relate to direct marketing and able to appropriately raise areas of non-compliance.

Communications Strategy and Planning
Develop and own GFO’s annual communications plan, covering both GFO and OxFarmToFork, with clear goals, audiences, channels, and success measures.

Track and report on communications performance, using data to inform decisions about content, channels, and audience engagement.
Ensure comms plans meet funding requirements/deliverables for projects.
Content and Channel Management
Write and publish content across GFO’s digital channels: social media (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook), the website, email newsletters, and blogs.
Manage the social media presence for both GFO and OxFarmToFork: planning content calendars, writing copy, scheduling posts, and responding to engagement.
Monitor and actively work to grow engagement metrics across key platforms, using platform analytics to understand what’s working and adjust accordingly.
Maintain and update GFO’s website, including campaign pages, news, and project updates. Basic CMS work; more significant design or development can be contracted out.

What You’ll Bring
Demonstrable experience in a communications role, with responsibility for content creation and channel management.

This role follows a 37 hours, over a 7 day working pattern. This is a site-based role, requiring occasional travel to meetings with partners, other attractions and to our main hubs for collaborative meetings and team activities.
Role Overview
The purpose of the post is to manage and lead the day-to-day operations, business development and visitor experience at our Canal Museum Stoke Bruerne. The Visitor Services Manager (VSM) will lead the site team at Stoke Bruerne (colleagues and volunteers) on a day to day basis to focus on the visitor offer, striving for excellence in experience, achieving financial sustainability around income generation and charitable giving and delivering a consistently high-class visitor welcome across the board. This includes managing a range of front of house functions including food and beverage, retail, events and commercial boat trips. The Visitor Services Manager plays a central role in overseeing, coordinating and championing the experience of every visitor from site presentation, to large/small scale events and programming, making the site a must-see attraction, acclaimed internationally, nationally and loved locally.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with experience in CRM systems, marketing operations, revenue and growth, commercial operations or startup operations, with experience in building systems and processes from scratch. This role would suit someone seeking a role – or continuing their career – in a not-for-profit environment where you will apply your skills to enhance purpose-driven organisations, take full ownership of systems and processes and build something meaningful from the ground up.
You will have had previous exposure to selecting, implementing and driving use and functionality of a CRM system (such as Hubspot or Salesforce) and building customer journeys and lifecycle automation. You understand the importance of healthy data and reporting and can work independently to build and maintain impactful systems and processes.
We are also looking for someone who is hands-on, methodical and process-driven, with the ability to see the entire customer journey from commercial and user perspectives. You will be motivated by working at pace and to ultimately build a strong foundation for Purposeful’s incubations.

Brief role description
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role, driving the acquisition of high-value, multi‑year corporate partnerships that deliver meaningful shared value for the organisation and its partners. They are responsible for developing and securing six‑ and seven‑figure strategic partnerships, ensuring each relationship aligns with organisational priorities and delivers clear, measurable impact.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced business development professional with a strong track record of winning long‑term corporate partnerships and securing multiple‑figure sums to deliver income targets.
You will bring experience in prospect research and networking, with the ability to secure high‑value partnerships and deliver income targets. You will have excellent communication skills, including presentation, negotiation and influencing, and experience using CRM systems to support your work.
You will demonstrate a highly self‑motivated and entrepreneurial approach, comfortable working to ambitious targets. You will be dynamic, organised and solutions‑focused, bringing a collaborative approach to your work. You will also be flexible and happy to attend events and meetings across the UK to secure funding partnerships.
