Sounds great, what will I be doing?
In this role, you will take ownership of a caseload of individuals at risk of homelessness, delivering proactive and outcome-focused interventions that prevent homelessness and support sustainable housing solutions. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for achieving service targets, monitoring performance against key outcomes, and ensuring statutory duties are met within required timescales.
Using your specialist knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, you will carry out detailed housing assessments, identify barriers to housing stability, and develop practical, co-produced Personal Housing Plans that drive measurable results. You will actively negotiate with landlords, housing providers, local authorities and partner agencies to secure accommodation and prevent tenancy breakdown wherever possible.
The role requires strong case management and excellent organisational skills, as you will manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure all actions are progressed promptly. You will be expected to monitor outcomes, track performance, and contribute towards contractual and service KPI delivery, ensuring that intervention targets are consistently achieved.
You will build and maintain effective partnerships across the housing sector, welfare services and community organisations, identifying opportunities that improve housing outcomes for clients. What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. The successful candidate will be highly organised, self-motivated and confident working independently with a high level of autonomy. We're looking for a Senior Project Worker to share responsibility for the effective daily operation of Catching Lives’ services, in the day centre and in the community. They coordinate with the Manager, colleagues, volunteers and external partners to deliver a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment in which people get the help that they need to make positive changes and move on in their lives. The post-holder provides one-to-one support to clients and works alongside the Manager to offer support and oversight to the wider client-facing team. They are the Designated Safeguarding Lead, assessing and escalating concerns in line with our policy and safeguarding best practice, and participating in multi-agency safeguarding work.

Catching Lives is a community charity, currently staffed by a team of 10. We’re in the process of expanding with current recruitment, so that we can introduce community-based support alongside strengthening our core day centre offer.
The successful candidate will complete a structured induction that includes shadowing colleagues and visiting local services. Staff typically attend weekly team meetings on Wednesday afternoons, as well as having regular 1-1s with their line manager, and there is confidential access to an employee assistance scheme. The day centre offers free tea and coffee throughout the working day. As well as core training for new starters, there are ongoing training and development opportunities.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people aged 13–24 with cancer. Every day, seven young people in the UK hear the words “you have cancer”, and Teenage Cancer Trust ensures they do not face it alone.
The charity funds specialist nurses and youth support teams in hospitals across the UK and provides vital emotional, practical and psychological support for young people and their families during and after treatment.
Regional fundraising is a core income stream for Teenage Cancer Trust, generating income through a combination of community and corporate fundraising. Supporters are often personally connected to the cause, including young people, families and communities directly impacted by cancer, making this a highly rewarding fundraising environment.
Teenage Cancer Trust is now seeking a Senior Relationship Manager (West Scotland) to grow and develop income across the West of Scotland. With an individual income target of c.£130k and a combined Scotland regional target of c.£260k across East and West Scotland, this role will play a key part in strengthening existing relationships while identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities across a region with significant growth potential.
Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Area Manager, you will be responsible for building long-term supporter relationships and developing strategic area plans to maximise fundraising opportunities. You will also work closely with frontline nursing teams, volunteers and colleagues across the organisation, ensuring supporters experience the impact of their fundraising while helping identify new opportunities across both community and corporate audiences.
