At Dementia UK, we make sure families affected by dementia don’t face it alone. Through our specialist Admiral Nurses, we provide expert advice and support when it’s needed most. Alongside this, our policy and campaigns work helps drive the change needed so that every family can access the support they deserve.
We are looking for an experienced Head of Campaigns to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a key leadership role at an important time for the charity, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver high-impact policy change campaigning that supports real change across the UK.
Leading our campaigns team, you will drive a clear and effective approach to public mobilisation, ensuring the voices of people affected by dementia are heard and influence decision-making. You will work closely with colleagues across policy, communications and digital, building strong partnerships internally and externally to strengthen our reach and impact.
This role requires someone who can step in with confidence and operate at pace. You will bring strong experience of leading campaigns and influencing activity, with the ability to negotiate, influence and drive coalitions and hold your own in senior discussions. You will be comfortable representing the organisation externally, including with partners, senior stakeholders and in the media.
You will also lead and support a small team, creating a collaborative and focused environment while ensuring delivery of high-quality, inclusive campaigning. Alongside this, you will use your political judgement and strategic thinking to identify opportunities, manage risks and ensure our work is grounded in evidence and lived experience.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record in campaigns or public affairs, who understands how to influence change within the UK health and social care landscape. Experience of partnership working and bringing organisations together to achieve shared goals would be particularly valuable.

About the role
The Head of Campaigns & Influence will lead the development and delivery of Fawcett’s campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is politically sharp, driven by women's experiences, and capable of building momentum over time.

You will also play a key role in connecting our national influencing work with the energy, insight and experience of our members, supporters and communities.

- Experience of leading and delivering campaigns, advocacy or movement-building work designed to achieve social, political or cultural change.

- Experience of influencing political, institutional or other decision-makers, including translating evidence, policy positions or strategic objectives into clear and credible public asks.
- Previous line management experience, with evidence of supporting and developing others well through inclusive, accountable and values-led leadership.
- A strong commitment to women’s rights and tackling misogyny, with a clear understanding of intersectional feminist and anti-racist practice.
- Strong strategic judgement and the ability to work effectively in politically sensitive or fast-moving contexts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and audiences.

We are now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through the next phase of its evolution, maintaining and building upon its established reputation and influence. In addition, they should have senior management training or equivalent experience and a clear record of continuing professional development. Accountable to our Board of Trustees and the wider membership, the new CEO will develop the strategic direction of the Association and lead the organisation to deliver a rolling medium-term Strategic Business Plan, balanced budgets and effective governance in compliance with company and charity law. An ability to prioritise planned and reactive work programmes to meet the needs of our membership is required, alongside the sourcing and delivery of timely bids for external funding together with the management of staff and resources to ensure value for money and staff wellbeing.

The Role
The Campaigner plays a key part in delivering high-impact, evidence-based campaigns across Global Witness’s priority areas, translating investigative findings and policy analysis into strategic advocacy that drives systemic change. Working collaboratively across the Policy and Advocacy, Investigations, and Communications teams, the Campaigner will help develop and implement innovative, multi-channel campaign strategies targeting regulatory, legal, corporate, and public audiences. Role Overview
Working in the AdOps team, you will be helping develop campaign strategies based on our client needs. Role Overview:
This is a new and pivotal role at RMJ, created to build our individual giving programme from the ground up. You’ll take a small but committed base of supporter donors and grow it into a thriving, sustainable income stream. If you enjoy working in a small, collaborative team within a fast-moving organisation that’s ready to scale its impact, this role offers the chance to shape something truly meaningful.
As our Individual Giving Fundraiser, you will lead on digital and direct marketing appeals, engagement campaigns, and supporter journeys that inspire people to take action - whether that’s making a gift, leaving a legacy, taking on a fundraising challenge, or becoming a long-term advocate for our work.
We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ fundraising experience within a campaigning organisation, charity, membership body, or political party. You’ll bring the creativity and drive needed to start a programme almost from scratch, alongside practical experience delivering fundraising across both digital and print channels. You’ll know how to engage different audiences, motivate them to give, and build strong relationships over time.
You’ll also be someone who loves working with data - using it to understand donor behaviour, analyse performance, spot trends, and make smart, evidence-based decisions. By combining data, strong storytelling, and supporter insight, you’ll help us deepen donor engagement and increase income to fuel RMJ’s mission.

This role is either London based on a permanent contract (2 days in the office) or Kenya/Brazil based on a consultancy contract.

You will provide project management support across teams, strengthen systems and processes, and help us deliver impact. Job description
- Lead parliamentary engagement for the organisation, ensuring MPs and peers are briefed effectively and engaged at the right moments.
- Identify and engage the most relevant MPs, peers and parliamentary staff on key issues, reports, parliamentary moments and campaign activity
- Draft and circulate high-quality parliamentary briefings, email updates and other materials for MPs, peers and parliamentary staff
- Organise meetings with MPs, peers, advisers and parliamentary staff, including preparing agendas, briefings and follow-up actions
- Monitor parliamentary developments, including debates, questions, statements, select committee activity and relevant legislation, and advise colleagues on opportunities for engagement
- Support the planning and delivery of parliamentary events, roundtables, receptions and campaign actions
- Maintain accurate records of parliamentary contacts, engagement and follow-up

Introduction
the3million is the largest grassroots organisation for EU citizens* in the UK, formed after the 2016 referendum to protect the rights of people who have made the UK their home.
Our work ranges from organising EU citizens’ communities and informing people about their rights, to holding the Government to account on the implementation of the Withdrawal Agreement and advocating for social justice.
We are looking for an experienced, values-driven and thoughtful Communications Manager to help shape and strengthen the3million’s public voice. The role focuses on sharing our work as widely and effectively as possible, through social media, supporter communications and news media. You will act as a spokesperson for the3million, write and develop communications materials, and help grow our supporters and donors base through lived-experience focused communications.
The ideal candidate is a passionate communicator, motivated by social justice and passionate about amplifying the voices of EU citizens and other migrant communities. You are as comfortable shaping strategy as you are delivering high-quality content, and you are committed to challenging injustice and influencing decision-makers.
Key responsibilities
1. Communications strategy & leadership
- Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of the communications strategy of the3million, working closely with the3million’s CEO, Head of Policy and Advocacy and Organising team to deliver timely strategic communications support
- Growing and safeguarding the3million’s brand identity, integrity and strategic positioning across all our external channels, networks and audiences
- Develop new initiatives to expand and improve the reach and engagement of the3million’s communications
- Regularly reviewing the effectiveness of campaigns and responding to opportunities that arise
- Use analytics tools to evaluate performance and inform strategic decisions
- Support the3million’s sustainability through effective fundraising messages and campaigns
- Maintain positive and productive relationships with partner organisations, working on shared campaigns and promoting strategic collaborations, opportunities for engagement and projects
2. Content and digital communications
- Build the3million’s public messages, using the most effective frames to communicate complex issues clearly to targeted audiences, with lived experience underpinning these messages
- Take overall responsibility for developing the3million’s website content, creating written and visual content
- Oversee and manage the3million’s online presence, engaging with relevant online platforms
- Produce regular newsletters, with clear and effective calls to action
- Develop effective fundraising content to disseminate to supporters
- Manage the3million’s social media channels, leading on creating engaging social media content (written and visual), developing and expanding the3million’s social media presence using relevant up to date digital tools
- Support EU citizens in having their stories heard, sourcing and writing compelling stories, ensuring safeguarding and consent policies are followed
3. Media relations
- Monitor media outlets for issues related to our campaigns, respond to developments in an appropriate and timely fashion
- Write and disseminate press releases, opinion pieces and articles
- Manage press enquiries, liaising with journalists and other media contacts
- Proactively pitch, develop and maintain relationships with relevant media stakeholders, developing our contacts list
- Support people with lived experience in working with journalists to have their stories heard
- Develop key messaging and briefings for staff and spokespeople to ensure consistency across communications, as needed
- Lead on crisis communications and rapid response messaging in reaction to political or media developments
4. Campaign communications & messaging
- Work closely with the policy and advocacy team to translate complex issues into compelling narratives
- Work with the Community Organising team to ensure lived-experience led storytelling is embedded in the community organising strategy
- Support with the development of published materials (in print and online) such as leaflets and reports. Lead on the visual design of published materials
- Support people with lived experience (including community leaders) to be effective spokespeople for the3million, delivering relevant communications training and support their leadership development (working closely with the Organising team)
5. General:
- Maintain relationships with relevant funders of the3million’s communications activities, providing regular reports and updates
- Represent the views of the3million at events, conferences and in the media
- Provide assistance in other areas of the3million’s work as and when deemed necessary by the CEO
Person specifications
Knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrable experience (minimum 2 years) in managing communications for a charity or an NGO in the UK
- Strong understanding of the UK media landscape, including experience securing media coverage and managing press relationships
- Experience managing digital communications channels (website, email, social media) and growing engagement
