We are looking for a Fundraising Compliance Business Partner to join our Governance team and help embed ethical, proportionate and practical compliance across our fundraising activity.
You will provide practical advice on the Code of Fundraising Practice, Charity Commission expectations, supporter data, PECR, fundraising communications, complaints, vulnerable supporters, third-party fundraising, commercial participation, corporate partnerships, events, prize-led fundraising and other relevant compliance requirements.
You will also help develop the tools, guidance and controls needed to support good decision-making. This may include compliance checklists, campaign review processes, training, monitoring activity, action tracking, risk reporting and lessons learned from complaints, incidents or audit findings.
We are looking for someone with experience of fundraising compliance, risk, audit or assurance, and a strong understanding of how fundraising regulation works in practice. You will be expected to provide constructive challenge where activity creates legal, regulatory, reputational or supporter harm risk, and to escalate issues where they fall outside agreed risk appetite.
You will be confident building relationships, influencing stakeholders and providing constructive challenge. Strong judgement, credibility and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical advice will be essential.

Talking about cancer can save lives. But not everyone has equal access to health information. Through our Cancer Awareness Roadshows programme, we work in public facing communities across the UK to deliver cancer awareness where the need is greatest-helping people feel informed, empowered and able to make a difference.
What you'll be doing
Lead and manage Roadshow nurses across the North-West and London (including bank nurses), providing supervision and regular communication both remotely and in person.
Ensure quality delivery by equipping nurses with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to run effective cancer awareness activities.
Step in operationally when needed, covering Roadshow delivery and supporting the wider Health Community Engagement (HCE) team
Contribute to the development, strategy, and continuous improvement of the Roadshow programme.
Share insights, promote the programme externally, and support new content/product development.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager to ensure quality, compliance, and health & safety standards are met.

We exist to change the odds stacked against Black people by embedding race equity into systemic change so that thriving is not the exception but the norm.
Black Thrive Global evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth Partnership, which was established in 2016 to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people in Lambeth. Black people’s cumulative exposure to negative experiences and poor outcomes are not unique to Lambeth and Black Thrive Global was founded in 2020 to address the detrimental outcomes for Black people of African and Caribbean descent wherever they may be located.
Our work covers all life stages – children and young people, working age adults and older adults. Our guiding principle is to centre the lived experiences of Black communities in all that we do, and our strategic priorities are to embed race equity in systems change and to decolonise the evidence landscape.
The Thriving Futures Scaling Systems Change programme will involve scaling what we have tested and learned locally in Lambeth, Haringey, and Birmingham to achieve UK-wide impact through Black Thrive Global, with the ambition to extend our work into Wales and Scotland.
Role Description
The Leadership Academy Coordinator will play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Leadership Academy, a programme designed to equip participants with the skills, confidence, and knowledge to engage with systems, drive change, and develop as inclusive, multi-skilled leaders, with a strong emphasis on valuing lived experience.
The Academy will bring together learning and development opportunities across a range of areas, including the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF), system navigation, community-led research, and leadership development approaches. Through this programme, grassroots community groups, people with lived experience, and system leaders will be supported to strengthen their leadership capabilities and contribute to anti-racist system change.
The postholder will be responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of the Leadership Academy, working collaboratively with Black Thrive localities, internal teams, people with lived experience, and external specialists to shape and deliver a high-quality learning offer.
Acting as the central point of coordination for the Academy, the postholder will oversee programme planning, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development processes, logistics, and delivery timelines. They will bring together contributions from multiple workstreams and partners, ensuring that content is aligned, relevant, and delivered effectively to meet the needs of participants.
The postholder will work closely with facilitators, trainers, and subject matter experts to coordinate sessions and learning activities, while ensuring effective quality assurance, participant engagement, monitoring, and evaluation. Responsibilities will include managing programme schedules, coordinating communications, tracking participation and outcomes, and maintaining accurate records to support reporting and continuous improvement.
The Leadership Academy Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Academy's vision, objectives, and outcomes. They will support the ongoing development of the programme by identifying opportunities for improvement, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring the curriculum remains responsive to the needs of communities, stakeholders, and the wider system.
The role requires excellent organisational, project management, and relationship-building skills, alongside the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders. The postholder will act as a key connector across the programme, ensuring all elements of the Leadership Academy come together effectively and provide a positive and inclusive experience for participants.

Role purpose:
This is a new role created in order to support and strengthen our financial capacity. The role will have day to day responsibility for all finance matters at ShelterBox and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the strength, integrity and effectiveness of financial management at ShelterBox.
The Head of Finance will be a key business partner across the business for all financial matters. Reporting to the Director of Finance, they will lead the finance function overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, compliance and statutory accounts, as well as oversight of the work of the operational finance team and board and committee reporting. While this is a leadership and management position, the small team structure means the successful candidate will be expected to take an active, hands on role in delivering work in addition to leadership responsibilities; They will have their own suite of projects and activities to deliver, as well as leading the finance team, and working across the organisation to support other teams. They'll work closely with our Director of Finance and senior leadership team.
Who are we looking for?
ShelterBox is seeking a qualified accountant with a minimum of ten years PQE in a management capacity.
The successful candidate must have extensive leadership experience and have proven experience in creating a modern, progressive finance function, with customer service at its core; we want this role to create long term impact.
Experience in accounting for projects, professional services and/or inventory would also be beneficial. Sector experience in an INGO is highly desirable.

Main role and responsibilities
· Lead and support finance team including four direct reports
· Provide guidance, advice and be a point of escalation for the finance team
· Represent the Finance Team in senior leadership forums
· Provide business partner support, to exec team, senior managers and international affiliate organisations
· Be a key point of contact for financial matters relating to larger international affiliates
Provide guidance, leadership, advisory support and quality control, across core services provided by direct reports including:
o Monthly financial reporting
o Developing and monitoring annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
o Finance operations including payroll, accounts payable, expenses, forex, cash and bank
o Financial business systems
o International Programmes project financial management including donor reporting; and
o Internal audit services
· Relationship management of investment advisory company and ongoing assessment of performance to ensure we are maximising returns on our investments in a risk appropriate manner
· Preparation of Board and Finance Committee reporting including cover at meetings for Director of Finance in periods of absence
· Setting and monitoring annual team deliverable timeline
· Carrying out ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
· Development and maintenance of finance KPIs
· Manage relationship with external audit partner
· Provide a quality control review point and support and advise to Financial Controller over annual external audit.
· Guiding and directing team in an advisory capacity on all components of direct and indirect taxation
· Monitor processing of Gift aid to ensure we are compliant but also to drive improvements in gift aid recovery through simple supporting processes and trend analysis

The Individual Giving Campaigns Manager will lead and manage the multi-channel campaign portfolio
within the Individual Giving function at Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital Charity. The Charity
has been growing its supporter base over recent years and has an ambition to create a step change in our
approach and significantly grow our Individual Giving donors and supporters.
This role is perfect for someone with excellent Individual Giving campaign creation & communication skills, a
deep understanding of print and digital marketing, and robust analytical skills, able to make clear
recommendations for campaign improvements to drive our future strategy
They will ensure that all income targets are achieved in line with the wider Fundraising Strategy and work
closely with other Individual Giving colleagues covering ‘Acquisition & Retention’ and ‘In Memory & Legacies’
to deliver successful campaigns. The post holder will also support and deputise for the Head of Individual
Giving where appropriate, to empower the Individual Giving and Legacies team to deliver over £3.5million+
per annum.
Key responsibilities include:
1. To utilise a range of existing and new channels to deliver new and existing campaigns to drive donor
acquisition, retention and upgrade, thereby maximising and growing annual income from individual
giving campaigns covering Lotteries, Direct Marketing, Regular Giving and Legacies.
2. To design, deliver and analyse our annual multi-channel Direct Marketing portfolio covering Direct
Mails, Eshots, Cold Mails, Social Media and digital acquisition to grow income, supporter
engagement and data. The post holder will lead on the development of compelling campaign
messaging, creative concepts and briefing design to ensure high-quality, engaging supporter
communications.
3. To undertake complex analysis and evaluation of all Individual Giving campaigns, developing plans
to continuously improve performance, response rates and ROI. To ensure effective use of campaign
data to improve targeting, segmentation and overall campaign performance
4. To design and implement campaigns with robust and engaging supporter journeys, that build
meaningful relationships and increase lifetime value & thereby long term sustainable income
5. To work with internal stakeholders to create inspiring Charity impact stories and campaigns that
drive public support of the 'general charity fund’ & enable long term, unrestricted income growth
6. To support the Head of Individual Giving to develop and implement the Individual Giving & Legacies 5 Year Campaign Strategy providing long term sustainable income and supporter growth, as well as
line-manage and develop staff responsible for delivering Individual Giving & Legacies campaigns,
fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture
7. To provide guidance, training and support to the Public Fundraising Team and wider Charity Team
for all relevant Individual Giving and Legacy campaigns/products
8. To build and manage key stakeholder relationships with existing third party suppliers, Data & AI
agencies, external Raffle and Prize Draw platforms, Design Agencies, and Mailing/Fulfilment
Houses, to maximise campaign effectiveness
9. To lead and maximise opportunities to drive new data acquisition and lead generation across all
channels, including reviewing and optimising existing lead generation activity and developing new,
innovative lead generation campaigns
10. To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, including data protection, Gambling
regulations, and Tax/Gift Aid, ensuring Birmingham Women’s and Children's Hospital Charity is
compliant with all legislation and best practice

Role Responsibilities
Supporter Development team
• Support the Individual Giving Managers and Legacy Giving Manager with day-to-day communications with our donor base, including timely database administration to capture communication preferences and personal details.
• Support the Database team with data and financial processes, including recording and batching donations, generating reports, contributing to supporter journeys and reconciling income.
• Liaise with design and print suppliers to source quotes and deliver appeals and other campaigns.
• Support the Supporter Development team in-person in the office, with the processing of direct marketing appeal responses, including banking of donations and sending thank you letters.
• Work with the Individual Giving Managers to implement supporter journeys to encourage further support to the organisation.
• Support the Individual Giving Managers in building emails using the charity’s email marketing platform.
Philanthropy team
• Use a CRM database to effectively administer and manage event and community enquiries and activities.
• Work with the Events and Community team to send out literature and parcels to community groups and event participants in an efficient and timely manner.

Our client is a dynamic, passionate charity, committed to improving the lives of children across the UK. They currently run over 100 local services that help thousands of young people who desperately need support, as well as campaigning to change laws and policies to make children’s lives both happier and safer. They are now looking to recruit a Service Manager (part-time, 21 hours) to lead the safe and effective development and delivery of a new Virtual Therapy service.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a new impactful service, providing accessible digital therapeutic services to a variety of young people. As Service Manager you will initially work closely with external app developers to translate clinical and safeguarding needs into platform requirements, validating functionality through user testing, and assuring compliance, accessibility and data protection for online therapy with children and young people. Once the app is built and launched, the role will focus on setting up, scaling and running the virtual therapy programme, ensuring high-quality practice, safeguarding, accessible delivery and continuous improvement.
Please note, the first phase of this work involving the development of the product will last approximately 6 months. Subject to funding, this role will then move into the second phase of work involving the mobilisation, leadership and management of the product.
To apply for this role, you will have demonstrable experience of delivering therapeutic work with children and young people across a range of presenting issues. A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy, Psychology, Mental Health or Nursing) and registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. BACP, BABCP, UKCP or equivalent) is essential for this role. You will have project and/or service management experience within a health, social care or education setting, and will have experience of supervising and managing staff performance and practice. Experience of working as a service/product owner with software teams to deliver a regulated or digital-health platform is desirable. Overall, you will be a skilled communicator, able to work independently and passionate about driving forward new accessible therapeutic services to improve the lives of vulnerable young people.
