POST OUTLINE
This is an impactful role working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Volunteer Manager is responsible for implementing a sustainable volunteer strategy, onboarding journey and programme across the charity. This varied role oversees the promotion of volunteering, internal and external relationship building, all stages of volunteer recruitment, HR checks and onboarding and the coordination of an effective volunteer mandatory training programme. This role is responsible for organising recognition programmes, guiding departments on how to manage and retain volunteers, maximising the use of volunteer resources and ensuring volunteers have a rewarding experience whilst also positively contributing to the organisation objectives to provide vital services to the families of disabled and neurodivergent children. This role is also responsible for the line management of the Volunteer Administrator. RCJ Advice is an exceptional Citizens Advice and Law Centre delivering national legal advice services, both frontline and second tier, to people who are unable to afford legal representation and advice. We are based within the Royal Courts of Justice, the Central London Family Court and community sites across London, where we deliver local Citizens Advice services.
This post is a new role within RCJ Advice and forms part of the Improving Access to Justice for Domestic Abuse Survivors project. The three-year project aims to improve access to legal advice and support for domestic abuse survivors living in areas where legal aid services are limited.
The project will strengthen referral pathways, increase awareness of legal remedies and build sustainable links between domestic abuse organisations, frontline professionals and legal providers to ensure survivors can access appropriate legal support.
During the first year, the postholder will likely focus on developing the project in Suffolk. This will include mapping existing services, building relationships with domestic abuse organisations and frontline professionals, developing referral pathways and strengthening links with local legal providers.
In years two and three, the postholder will move the focus of the project to new legal aid deserts in England (we have a similar role in Wales) identified during the course of the project, developing new local networks, referral pathways and partnerships to improve access to legal advice and support for domestic abuse survivors in those areas.
Alongside this project development work, the postholder will provide specialist family law advice and support to domestic abuse survivors, including advice on protective remedies such as Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and other family law matters including Domestic Abuse Protection Orders (DAPOs). This will include providing advice through appointments, telephone and email advice, and supporting survivors with CourtNav applications.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with experience of family law and domestic abuse work. They will have strong legal skills, experience of developing partnerships or services, and the ability to build trusted relationships with survivors, professionals and community organisations.
The postholder will work closely with colleagues across RCJ Advice, including the FLOWS team and Family team, sharing learning and contributing to wider organisational work supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
The role will require flexibility to travel across England, including occasional overnight stays, to support delivery of the service, partnership development and engagement activities.

The Grants Compliance Officer plays an important role in supporting the effective financial management and oversight of AmplifyChange's grant portfolio. As this is a home-based role, you’ll need to be comfortable forming meaningful relationships online, building trust and connection via email, phone, and video calls. We’ll provide the equipment you need, but you’ll bring the energy and adaptability to make remote working feel personal and productive. Regular travel across the defined regions is a vital part of the role, visiting SMART Recovery meetings in the community and within partner organisations, and offering continual support to facilitators, are all essential in helping our network continue to grow with the quality we strive for.

Role Overview
The Governance Administration Officer will be an integral member of the Trust’s Governance and Administration Team, supporting the Governance & Compliance Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of governance and compliance activities of the Trust as well as providing administration support to the wider team alongside other administration staff.
Primary Responsibilities
Governance
1. Provide administrative support to enable effective management of The Road Safety Trust’s Governance and Compliance activities.
2. Support co-ordination of RST Board and Committees. This may include timely preparing meeting packs, taking minutes, following up actions and organising logistics for virtual and physical meetings.
3. Maintain accurate Governance and Compliance registers e.g. conflicts of interest, skills matrices, Terms of Office records and end of year governance documents, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
4. To ensure documentation in relation to RST Trustees is maintained appropriately.
5. Support Trustee recruitment and induction, coordinate Trustee training, and regulatory reporting.
6. Co-ordinate and monitor Policies and Procedures reviews and maintain the Policies register.
7. Provide support for the internal audit programme, coordinating audit meetings, compiling documentation and assisting with actions and reports.
8. Support risk management information, including risk registers other compliance activities.
9. Provide support for Board and Committee reports and dashboards to demonstrate progress against key actions and service delivery at RST.
10. Support the preparation of the annual report and organisation of the AGM.
Administration
11. Use Microsoft Office, HR, Finance Systems to ensure RST policies and processes are adhered to.
12. Ensure the provision of information in the relevant sections of SharePoint for easy access by staff as required.
13. Contribute to the organisation of events, workshops and conferences as required.
14. To support the finance function of the Trust as appropriate.
15. Identify and contribute to improvement of processes and procedures.
16. Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with GDPR and data protection legislation, ensuring safe storage and responsible sharing of data.
17. Support with cover for the rest of the administration team as required.
18. Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the role.
