About the role
The role will play a critical role to help deliver an effective and high performing rent collection and recovery service in accordance with legislation, the organisation’s policies, set performance targets and customer satisfaction requirements. In collaboration with the Resident Services Manager to ensure that the organisation is compliant with all regulations and using robust policy and procedures and ensuring the right systems are in place to effectively manage the revenue and income streams and arrears of the organisation. This role will also manage the impact of welfare reform provisions, ensuring an effective advice and support service to residents to manage risk on revenue and income levels.
Responsibilities

The role also oversees the best payment methods for all residents at sign up and this includes the setting up of standing orders or direct debits in line with the direct debit guarantee where applicable. To liaise with the Assistant Accountant who will oversee the administration of this.

Production of performance and management reports, setting collection targets in consultation with the Resident Services Manager and proactively monitoring and reporting in respect of service delivery, performance indicators and targets.

Maximise the collection of arrears by having regular meetings with the Team Managers; being proactive in contacting Support Workers or residents, providing them with clear instructions on information requests and repayment options.

To work closely with other members of the Revenue team to manage resident rent and accommodation charge accounts and other former resident debts, on a regular basis identifying trends and patterns on individual accounts and then liaise with Support Workers or residents to rectify income issues and address arrears in line with policies and procedures.

To maximise rent collection in line with targets by making arrangements to recover rent arrears and to enforce related tenancy conditions, ensuring residents’ rent accounts are monitored and prompt actions taken to prevent the accumulation of debt, and to authorise any rent account adjustments and refunds.

Work closely with the Assistant Accountant to ensure that all residents Personal Contributions (PC) and Housing Benefit (HB) are calculated correctly on sign up and when there has been a change of circumstance

Liaising with local authorities’ benefits teams and Government agencies on new benefit claims and issues in liaison with the Assistant Accountant and regular meetings together.

Acting as the main first point of contact on queries around revenue and income management, policies, procedures and systems.

Ensuring team have Welfare benefits training and are up to date with regulation. Working with Support Workers to ensure residents maximise their incomes by claiming all benefits due them

To assist vulnerable residents with prompt and appropriate action and advice, and liaise with other agencies and departments to ensure that their needs are met.

To be responsible for preparing timely and accurate reports on arrears cases, to attend Court and represent the organisation on individual arrears and possession cases when relevant, to prepare eviction reports and represent the organisation at evictions to ensure the successful repossession of properties.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Property Inspector to join our Facilities and Health & Safety team. You’ll play a key role in helping Julian House maintain safe, high‑quality, well‑managed buildings across our property portfolio.
With around 140 properties across the South West, ranging from residential homes to hostels, retail shops and offices, this role is central to ensuring every building meets required safety and compliance standards.

What you’ll be doing:
- Inspecting properties across the portfolio and producing clear, accurate reports.
- Ensuring buildings meet safety and compliance standards, escalating risks when needed.
- Managing your own schedule and attending sites at short notice when required.
- Inspecting new and outgoing properties, ensuring works are completed on time.
- Uploading your findings, track actions, and meeting KPI expectations.
- Working closely with the Maintenance Team and supporting with improvements to systems and staff training.
- Maintaining positive relationships with internal teams, residents and landlords.

Role Purpose
Oversee a blended model of in-house direct labour teams and external supply chain partners, lead and empower your teams to successfully deliver effective building, mechanical, electrical and regulated compliance related works and services across the organisation's property portfolio to ensure our homes are safe and well maintained. Delivering against challenging KPI's, ensure continuous improvement and customer safety across gas, fire, water, electrical, lifts, M&E and asbestos.
Working with the Property Services Director and Assistant Directors to shape and implement the Property Compliance Delivery strategies to deliver effective building/property regulatory compliance in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. Lead on new ways of working including the use of modern digital solutions to make our business more effective, agile, and responsive, requiring a forward and outward looking approach as well as an open mind and applying Lean principles in decision making.
Key Accountabilities
- Shape and contribute to the organisation's long-term compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with national housing policy and emerging legislation.
- Lead on the effective management of statutory compliance, ensuring all regulatory and legislative responsibilities for gas, electrical, asbestos, fire safety, legionella, water, and lifts are delivered.

The Role of Diocesan Housing Surveyor
We are looking for someone who can work alongside the Diocesan Property Manager, and Property Officer, to assist in the management of the Clergy Housing stock comprising of 160 houses across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The main responsibilities of the of Diocesan Housing Surveyor
are:
- Inspect Clergy houses and assess repairs and improvements necessary in compliance with Coventry Diocese Clergy Housing Standards.
- Implement the recommendations of the property reports.
- Arrange property inspections and implement the required works with the agreement of the Property Manager.
- Arrange stock condition surveys.
- Address reactive repairs and ensure works are undertaken and completed in accordance with the Housing Standards.
- Prepare schedules of work and cost budgets, agree these with the Property Manager before tendering to approved contractors.
What we are looking for in a Diocesan Housing Surveyor:
· Driving Licence with access to own car
· Previous experience of managing small works contracts
· Working knowledge of residential building defects and their resolution
· Proven awareness of health and safety with regard to building management and works contracts.
· Being responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of properties whilst remaining within budgetary and time constraints
· Degree Level or relevant experience commensurate to the role
· Evidence for continuing professional development.
· Familiarity using a modern Property Management software package.

About the Housing Officer role
As a Housing Officer, you’ll support young people living in our Move-On and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) accommodation. The Housing Officer role combines practical housing management with relationship-based support.

Key duties of the Housing Officer role

- Supporting young people to settle into their homes
- Providing structured housing-related support (including more intensive support within the UASC provision)

- Supporting access to education, training, employment and wider services

- Oversee rental income, arrears, void control and financial performance.

- Lead and support Housing Managers, support teams and frontline workers.
- Foster a positive culture of accountability, inclusion and high standards.

About you:
Essential
- CIH Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification
- Senior leadership experience in supported housing, social housing, or homelessness services
- Strong knowledge of housing law, tenancy management and regulatory compliance

Overview We are seeking an experienced interim professional to provide operational support to the Fire and Security Contracts Manager in a large housing association. The role focuses on coordinating the delivery of minor and responsive works arising from fire-related cyclical inspections (including Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) and Fire Door Inspection (FDI) actions) across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
