Role overview 

Shine supports a community of over 15,000 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, including 10,000 adults (25+).

You will be delivering high-quality support and creating opportunities for adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their carers, supporting Shine members to lead healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives by improving condition management and fostering connections within the Shine community. 

This role will focus on adults (25+), you will be primarily working within the Adult Services Team. However, there will be occasions when you will work across age groups to ensure the best outcomes for our members. 

The role is home-based and ideally you will live within an hour commute of London, within Essex, Kent or Sussex as you will be attending clinics in London and the Southeast as required. There would be occasional travel required across wider areas and nationally including attendance at events, conferences and meetings at our head office in Peterborough. 

The role is full time 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday with working core hours 9am-5pm with some flexibility to cover events evenings/weekends.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver innovative support across your region to improve health, social, and emotional outcomes for members. 

• Attend specialist clinics to engage with members and professionals. 

• Provide information, advice, and guidance to our adult members and carers, including hard-to-reach communities. 

• Support members to access benefits, services, and resources that promote financial stability, health, and independence. 

• Refer members to Shine’s Health team, internal specialists, or external agencies as appropriate. 

• Develop age-specific groups and peer support networks to reduce isolation and encourage social interaction. 

• Recruit and support Shine volunteers. 

• Contribute to regional and national events (face-to-face and virtual) based on member needs and interests. 

• Represent Shine at conferences, provide information, raise awareness among professionals, external organisations, and the public through presentations and training.

Key Responsibilities 

Fundraising Strategy & Income Generation 

• Develop and implement a fundraising strategy focused on securing support from philanthropists, trusts, and members of the public. 

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective major donors and philanthropic partners. 

• Create meaningful supporter journeys that deepen engagement and encourage long-term giving. 

• Develop compelling cases for support and fundraising materials that communicate the impact of One World in Schools and PIN’s global programmes. 

• Work closely with programme colleagues to translate programme outcomes into engaging donor propositions. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships 

• Build and maintain relationships with influential stakeholders, ambassadors, supporters, and partners who can advance fundraising objectives. 

• Represent PIN at networking events, donor meetings, conferences, and public engagements. 

• Develop opportunities for strategic partnerships with organisations, institutions, and individuals aligned with One World’s mission. 

One World Engagement Strategy 

• Lead the development and implementation of the fundraising stakeholder engagement strategy for One World engagement strategy in the UK. 

• Identify opportunities to use documentary film and storytelling as tools for audience engagement, awareness raising, donor cultivation, and fundraising. 

• Support OWIS UK Coordinator to build relationships with filmmakers, cultural institutions, schools, venues, and festival partners. 

• Plan and deliver film screenings, events, and related engagement activities that support fundraising and stakeholder development goals. 

Communications & Collaboration 

• Work closely with staff from PIN UK staff as well as PIN’s international offices to develop engaging fundraising campaigns and donor communications. 

• Build partnerships with marketing and media channels. 

• Monitor fundraising performance, analyse results, and identify opportunities for improvement. 

• Maintain accurate donor records and ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and GDPR requirements.

Job description

The Events & Fundraising Assistant helps to improve, develop and organise our events, including the London Legal Walk, Great Legal Bake, Great Legal Quiz and many more across London and the South East. You will work to maintain contact with our wide network of dedicated supporters, keeping our database up-to-date with contact and event information, and support with the on the day delivery of the event. You will update our website and produce content for printed materials to promote our events programme, and assist with the recruitment and management of volunteers.

• Maintain and build on existing LLST fundraising events through supporting delivery - managing sign ups, responding to enquries, drafting event materials and correspondence with supporters.

• Attend, help at and supervise events including registration, set-up, pack-down and stakeholder management.

• Improve and maintain LLST's website and online presence on LLST's social media chanels.
• Administrative duties inlcuding data entry and income processing.
• General support, ensuring LLST’s activities comply with charity, company and general law.

About the role

The Head of Fundraising and Development role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape Woman’s Trust’s income strategy, develop new partnerships and play a central role in the organisation’s next phase of growth.

We are seeking an established income-generation leader who combines strategic and commercial judgement with a willingness to remain hands-on. The successful candidate will have a strong record of securing significant income, identifying new opportunities and building effective relationships with funders, commissioners and partners. They will also be a constructive and positive senior colleague: someone who works collaboratively, communicates clearly, takes ownership and contributes actively to the success of the wider organisation.

The role will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and funding pipeline. Responsibilities will also include reviewing, updating, and developing service budgets, as well as overseeing or coordinating the submission of high-quality bids, funding approaches, and events.

As the Community and Events Fundraising Officer, you will play a key part in ending youth homelessness in Scotland by inspiring people to support Rock Trust.

You will deliver exceptional supporter care and create meaningful experiences for everyone fundraising for us. Although a varied role, your work will follow strong themes – relationship building, spending time with supporters, and working with the Fundraising team; all to make a tangible difference for young people.

You’ll join an experienced and collaborative Fundraising and Communications team and be supported to identify opportunities to grow our community presence, take ownership of our community-led income, and inspire long term supporter loyalty to Rock Trust. In this varied and people-focused role you will meet and present to community groups such as schools, student societies, churches, and voluntary organisations. You may support groups to host their own events, take part in Youth and Philanthropy Initiative projects, or run collections, and you’ll play an important role in improving our supporter stewardship; helping create meaningful ways to connect with, and thank, our supporters.

The Limbless Association is looking for an experienced and passionate Regional Development Manager (one in the North including Northern Ireland and one in the South including Wales) to help expand our reach and strengthen support for amputees and their families across the UK.

Job Description

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced people manager who is passionate about developing high-performing teams and delivering sustainable income growth. Working alongside the Head of Fundraising, who provides regional strategic leadership, you'll take the lead on the day-to-day management, coaching and development of a team of Community Fundraisers, creating an environment where people can thrive, perform at their best and deliver exceptional supporter experiences.

You'll play a key role in translating strategy into action, empowering your team to grow income, deepen supporter engagement and maximise opportunities across communities throughout Scotland. Combining strong people leadership with commercial awareness and relationship-building skills, you'll help drive performance while ensuring supporters, volunteers and partners receive an outstanding experience.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of five Community Fundraisers, providing clear direction, support and motivation to help them achieve their goals.
• Embed a high-performance, collaborative and supporter-focused culture across the team.
• Support the Head of Fundraising in delivering regional fundraising plans and priorities across Scotland.
• Monitor team performance against targets, using data and insight to identify opportunities and address challenges.
• Drive income growth by supporting your team to maximise fundraising opportunities and build strong supporter pipelines.
• Manage budgets, resources and workloads effectively to ensure activity delivers strong return on investment.
• Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns, events and community fundraising activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, community groups, schools, faith organisations, corporate partners and internal stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Philanthropy, Partnerships, Legacy and In Memory to maximise fundraising opportunities and supporter engagement.

This is a new role to stabilise, diversify and grow income in a financially constrained environment, reducing reliance on statutory funding, increasing unrestricted income, and strengthening Catalyst Support’s credibility with all sources of non statutory funding, including trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and communities. The postholder holds clear accountability for income performance, return on investment and risk management, and plays a critical role in the organisation’s financial recovery and long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Income Delivery

• Lead and deliver a multi-year income and engagement strategy covering trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors, community fundraising and individual giving.
• Take ownership of income targets, pipelines and forecasts, including break-even requirements and risk exposure.
• Actively manage income risk, developing scenario plans and mitigation actions where delivery falls below expectation.
• Work with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to align income activity with organisational strategy and service priorities.

Funding Applications & Grant Management

• Provide strategic oversight, delivery and quality assurance of all high-value bids, tenders and funding applications.
• Ensure bids are evidence-led, outcome-focused, accurately costed and aligned to service capacity.
• Taking direct responsibility for bid and tender preparation and submission.
• Maintain strong relationships with funders, and foundations, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and effective stewardship.
