About the role
As CRM Lead (Product Owner), you will own the vision, strategy and delivery roadmap for Save the Children's Salesforce CRM ecosystem, ensuring it continually evolves to meet the needs of our fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement teams. Leading a team of three CRM professionals, you will act as the voice of the business within agile delivery teams, balancing operational, technical and strategic priorities to maximise value from our CRM investment.
This is a highly collaborative role with significant stakeholder engagement across the organisation. You'll spend much of your time working with internal teams, external suppliers and delivery partners to prioritise demand, manage backlogs, facilitate agile ceremonies, drive continuous improvement and ensure successful delivery of CRM enhancements. Job purpose
To grow NEYDL's earned income across two distinct strands: securing commissioned services and contracts with local authorities and other organisations in the North East; and developing a national market for NEYDL's training products and DigiDAD platform, enabling professionals and organisations across the UK to improve the support available to young dads in their communities.
Hours - Full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm), with occasional evening and weekend working expected to meet the needs of the charity. Four days per week considered for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities
Income generation and business development
•Identify and develop opportunities to secure commissioned services and contracts with local authorities, NHS bodies, family hubs, children’s services, early help teams and voluntary sector organisations
•Lead on the sale of NEYDL’s training products to professional audiences nationally, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

The Business Development Manager will play a central role in building the relationships and income pipeline that drives the training targets. Each hospital charity provides the added extras that are "over and above" what the NHS can fund as standard. This includes life-saving equipment, state-of-the-art facilities, training and research, as well as free accommodation and patient comforts.
Across UHB Charity we are currently raising funds for a Total Body PET CT Scanner as well as our Children's and Newborn Appeals and Home from Home accommodation for civilians and military personnel, to name just a few.

They will write or complete applications and build relationships with existing and potential funders. They will also be responsible for managing members of the team who are currently applying to Trusts and Foundations and supporting them with their applications. The Manager is also responsible for the Trusts and Foundations database and building on this.
This role would suit an experienced fundraiser looking to move into a management role, or a Fundraising Manager looking for an exciting opportunity at a hospital charity.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated professional to drive participation, engagement and income through a portfolio of exciting fundraising and challenge events across the UK.
