MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
1. To support the successful delivery of projects, activities and events, through the successful management of event logistics, communications, and resource preparation. Projects, activities and events include: Primary School Financial Literacy workshops, Core Programmes for Key Stages 3 to 5, Industry Insight Days, Bespoke Workplace visits, Mentoring and Future Skills.
2. Liaise with volunteers, external facilitators, school administrative and teaching staff on school projects as needed, in the pre- and post-event stage.
3. Attend in-person events in the borough (in both schools and workplaces) to assist with delivery, volunteer management and event logistics.
4. Compile data and reports on business and volunteer activity as directed by the Senior Project Manager on the Secondary Team. Work with the wider team to produce annual impact reports and volunteer data reports on specific projects, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
5. The post has specific responsibility for the areas outlined in this document. These areas may change as the nature of projects or funding changes over time.

What is it like to work for us?

About the role:
You will be talking to people on the telephone from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences. No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of crime, who may have gone through a life-changing experience. In this unique and rewarding role, you'll be the welcoming face of Stella Maris in your region, visiting ships, listening to crew members, and offering practical, pastoral and spiritual support to anyone in need, regardless of faith or background.
About the role
No two days are the same. You might spend the morning visiting ships and listening to crew members' stories, help someone contact their family back home, support a seafarer in crisis, or offer a quiet moment of prayer on deck.
You'll also recruit and support a team of volunteers, work closely with other maritime charities and local partners, and build strong relationships with parishes, dioceses, and port authorities. You'll be part of a nationwide network of Stella Maris chaplains, supported through regular meetings, retreats and professional development opportunities.

- Visit ships regularly to meet seafarers and fishers, responding to their pastoral, practical and spiritual needs.

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity supporting people affected by homelessness and addiction to rebuild their lives. We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Recovery Community & Therapeutic Service Manager to lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of our Recovery Community and Therapeutic Service.
This is a part-time role working 28 hours per week and is fully onsite at our Shoreditch hub. There is some flexibility around how the hours are worked across the week, although ideally Friday will be included as a working day.

The Dog Welfare Specialist will be an expert in canine health and welfare, welfare assessment, veterinary case management and translating complex technical information into practical guidance for a wide range of stakeholders. Our Dog Welfare Specialists play a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- As part of a regional team, assist in the operational delivery of all dog welfare services ensuring best practice.
- Collaborate with the Dog Triage and veterinary services teams to provide in person advice and practical support as appropriate to volunteers and clients within the designated geographical area.
- Adhering to prioritisation criteria carryout in-person welfare assessments, as directed by the Dog Welfare Operations Manager.
- Responsible for gaining all relevant veterinary information to support decisions on treatment plans. Consult with internal and external veterinary professionals and/or clients to identify the most appropriate course of action, maximise the dog's veterinary care and welfare.
- Interpret or clarify technical information to aid understanding for internal and external stakeholders.
- In collaboration with Guide Dog Service (GDS) colleagues, ensure all dogs allocated to the Dog Welfare Specialist, receive required health screens and investigations.

You'll enjoy working in a collaborative and relationship-driven environment, partnering with colleagues, veterinary professionals, guide dog owners and volunteers, with a dedicated focus on delivering high standards of care and evidence-based decision making. You'll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.
Skills and Competencies
- Vocational qualification specific to canine health and welfare to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- One of the following;
- 2 ‘A’ levels (one of which must be a biological or social science subject) (QCF level 3 / SQCF levels 6-7)
- OR equivalent qualifications, or experience.
- Able to meet the travel requirements of the role which involves transporting dogs. In the absence of a full valid UK Driving License, you will be expected to demonstrate how you will fulfil this aspect of the role via alternative means.
- Experience working with dogs within a professional environment, applying welfare-based decision making to support positive outcomes.
- Experience coaching, teaching, mentoring or supporting others to develop knowledge, skills or competence.
- Experience of dealing with complex canine health cases in a veterinary, rescue or welfare environment.
- Sound understanding of canine welfare principles and their practical application.
- Good knowledge of common canine health conditions, treatment options and ongoing management requirements.

About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Southampton Care Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Southampton Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child or young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.
