Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining strategic relationship-building with high-quality event delivery to generate income and deepen supporter engagement.
The Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of major fundraising events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and follow-up. This includes developing the annual events strategy, managing income and expenditure, supporting ticket and table sales, sourcing prizes, and ensuring an exceptional supporter experience throughout.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, they will build and convert a pipeline of corporate partners, developing compelling proposals and securing new partnerships to meet income targets. They will also lead on the stewardship of these relationships, delivering tailored engagement plans that demonstrate impact and maximise retention.
Alongside delivery, the Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will monitor performance, manage budgets, and maintain accurate reporting and CRM data, working collaboratively with Fundraising and Marketing colleagues to maximise results.
Key Responsibilities
Major SOHK Events
- Events Lead: Take full ownership of the SOHK organised major events in England, Scotland and Wales.
- Develop and deliver an annual events strategy & Calendar that is aligned with FRT targets
- Set and manage event budgets, income targets and KPIs
- Ensure exceptional supporter experience at all touch points.
- Source high value auction and raffle prizes
- Work closely with FRT to sell tables & tickets at events.
- Ensure prize donors, table buyers and supporters have a great experience of SOHK – feeling thanked and appreciated.
- Plan thoroughly for post event stewardship and follow up
Corporate Partnerships (working with Head of Fundraising)
- Build a pipeline of potential corporate partners and continually seek to add to pipeline as needed
- Research and make high quality approaches
- Confidently write winning pitches and present at meetings
- Secure new partnerships to achieve income targets
- Stewardship: Act as the main point of contact for partnerships that are allocated to you; nurturing and strengthening the relationships
- Develop and implement tailored cultivation and stewardship plans to enhance partner engagement and retention
- Demonstrate the impact of partner contributions to maximise retention (alongside our Marketing & Comms Team)
Reporting, Monitoring & Budgeting
- Report as required on all activity and progress to the Head of Fundraising
- Monitor and manage expenditure related to fundraising activities – managing P&L sheet
- Ensure data capture for CRM (Beacon) from all events
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in event management, including planning, delivery, and evaluation of fundraising or engagement events
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing priorities
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, volunteers, and suppliers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organisation professionally
- Experience managing event budgets and delivering activity within financial targets
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of the role events play in fundraising, supporter engagement, and awareness-building
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event or CRM systems
- Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends as required

Terms of Appointment
- Salary range: £37,000 - £40,000
- Full-time
- 28 days annual leave entitlement plus public holidays.
- South East England (based). This role requires weekly travel to London, with occasional travel to other locations across the UK.

MAIN PURPOSE:
The Philanthropy Manager will lead the development and delivery of Brainkind’s capital fundraising initiatives, cultivate and steward high-net-worth individuals, and grow strategic corporate partnerships.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities
1. Capital Fundraising Leadership
- Develop and deliver capital fundraising strategies to support major infrastructure and service development projects.
- Create compelling cases for support aligned to organisational strategy and impact.
- Identify and secure major gifts (£25k+) to support capital appeals.
- Work closely with senior leadership and Trustees to activate networks and fundraising influence.
- Monitor and report on capital fundraising performance against agreed targets.
2. High-Net-Worth Individual (HNW) Engagement
- Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and prospective major donors.
- Identify, research, and cultivate new prospects through networking, events, and relationship mapping.
- Develop bespoke engagement and stewardship plans for each donor.
- Lead face-to-face solicitations and gift negotiations.
- Deliver exceptional stewardship to maximise lifetime value and long-term engagement.
3. Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships
- Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy aligned to Brainkind’s mission and values.
- Secure new corporate partnerships including strategic, multi-year, and employee engagement partnerships.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities linked to capital projects, events, and services.
- Manage key account relationships and ensure high-quality reporting and impact demonstration.
- Explore cause-related marketing and CSR partnership opportunities.
4. Strategy & Collaboration
- Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy and annual income planning.
- Collaborate with communications and service teams to develop impactful donor materials.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and pipeline management using CRM systems.
- Maintain compliance with fundraising regulation and best practice

MAIN PURPOSE:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Fundraising Manager to lead and grow a diverse income portfolio across multiple fundraising disciplines.
This is a leadership role responsible for contributing to and delivering a national fundraising strategy aligned to Brainkind’s organisational priorities, financial sustainability goals, and growth ambitions.
The postholder will manage and develop a small fundraising team, embed high-performance standards, and drive income generation across statutory trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, events, and individual giving.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
- Contribute to, develop and deliver a multi-year fundraising strategy to achieve sustainable income growth.
- Set and manage annual income targets exceeding £500k to £1m.
- Identify new income streams aligned to Brainkind’s service model and expansion priorities.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align fundraising with operational and strategic objectives.
Income Generation (All Disciplines)
Lead and oversee income generation across:
- Trusts & Foundations – Develop compelling proposals for health, social care and rehabilitation funding.
- Corporate Partnerships – Secure and manage mutually beneficial local partnerships.
- Community & Events Fundraising – Grow supporter-led activity nationally.
- Individual Giving & Digital Campaigns – Strengthen acquisition, retention and legacy programmes.
- Statutory & Health Sector Funding (where applicable outside commissioned services).
Team Management
- Line manage, coach and develop a small fundraising team.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Set KPIs and ensure strong pipeline management and reporting.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Act as an ambassador for Brainkind externally.
- Build strong internal relationships with operations, clinical teams, finance, and communications to gather impact data and case studies.
- Work closely with marketing/communications to strengthen brand-led fundraising campaigns.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice (e.g. Fundraising Regulator, GDPR).
- Monitor ROI and cost-effectiveness across fundraising activities.
ABOUT YOU:
- Knowledge of a broad range of fundraising and charity sector activities.
- Knowledge of legal obligations for fundraising activities and all internal procedures and regulations and adherence to best practices, as defined by the organisation and Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice & Fundraising Regulator
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising income targets at £500k+ level (or comparable scale).

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Philanthropy Manager to join our small but passionate, and collaborative fundraising team. This is a critical role, responsible for generating income and building meaningful relationships with major donors, trusts and foundations and corporate partners.

We’re looking for a Major Gifts Development Manager to build a pipeline of new and existing donors across the North of England and Midlands. This ambitious new position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dogs Trust’s work in the region.
What does this role do?
As Major Gift Development Manager, you will:
- build a pipeline of prospective supporters in the region, proactively arranging meetings and approaches with potential donors, identifying individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and may support our work,
- create memorable experiences that bring supporters closer to Dogs Trust by delivering bespoke, creative stewardship plans, underpinned by a deep understanding of donor motivations,
- be a key representative of Dogs Trust with high‑value supporters and senior volunteers and work closely with internal colleagues to create close relationships with donors, providing them with a compelling and fulfilling supporter journey,
- identify opportunities to develop relationships with senior volunteers and influential individuals to strengthening relationships in the region.
This is a hybrid role that will combine working from home and visiting local rehoming centres for meetings with donors across the region. The role will be contractually based at one of the following rehoming centres: Darlington, Leeds, Manchester, Merseyside, Shrewsbury, Kenilworth, Loughborough or Snetterton.

Fundraising at the Sutton Trust
We are seeking a dynamic and confident Philanthropy Manager to join our high-performing fundraising team. The Sutton Trust is at an exciting point in our organisational journey, with a new Chairperson and ambitions to significantly grow our impact and fundraising as part of our 2030 strategy.
Over the past five years the impact of the Sutton Trust has increased, especially in our programme numbers, securing a relatively stable income of c.£6m over a number of years. In recent years this has grown to c.£7m, and our organisational strategy to 2030/31 will continue this fundraising trajectory to increase income to £12m. With a growing portfolio of philanthropic income from individuals – currently accounting for c.£1.2m – there is considerable enthusiasm and opportunity to build upon existing relationships and establish new ones in support of the work of The Sutton Trust.
Our fundraising approach will continue to focus on major gifts, harnessing and increasing our networks, and multi-year partnerships to leverage a range of drivers to secure philanthropic support. We anticipate utilising the structured giving schemes designed for our individual supporters to build a robust pipeline for future major gifts. This will include a focus on building out our newly refreshed Fellowship scheme and, importantly, working with the Head of Philanthropy to implement a segmented fundraising campaign with our 40,000 strong alumni community. Additionally, there is significant opportunity to build upon recent successes and further develop our approach to legacy fundraising.
Main duties
New Business

Managing and growing the Trust’s Fellowship scheme through scoping, developing and securing new four and five-figure gifts from individual supporters, working closely with the Director of Development, Head of Philanthropy, and senior volunteers appropriately to secure and steward.

Work with the Head of Philanthropy to identify and cultivate a prospect pool of potential donors at all levels, including utilising the CRM, current low-level donors, stakeholder network mapping through the Board and Trustees, as well as prospects research of philanthropists with an active interest in education/ social mobility.

Undertake prospect research across the spectrum of philanthropic income in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy – including identification, due diligence, qualification, and creating briefings and outreach plans.

Work with the Head of Alumni Engagement to proactively identify Sutton Trust alumni with the capacity and inclination to support our work, developing meaningful relationships, identifying relevant opportunities to deepen their connection to the Trust, and influencing alums to start and continue their giving journey.

Work with the Head of Fundraising Operations and Head of Philanthropy to design, implement, and promote a low-level online giving journey, including automated stewardship activation.

Supporting the Head of Philanthropy to implement a compelling legacy campaign.

Work with colleagues across the Development team to identify, qualify, cultivate and secure prospects, using resources effectively where there are links between corporates, individuals, and trusts & foundations.
Account Management and Development

Manage and grow the Trust’s Fellowship major donor scheme, creating meaningful, mutually beneficial and long-term relationships.

Create meaningful and personalised donor plans for your portfolio, including reporting, regular written updates and in person meetings where appropriate.

Working with the Director of Development and Head of Philanthropy to support the stewardship and management of the Board, and other major donors.

Be accountable for achieving individual agreed income targets, looking for opportunities to grow funding and diversify philanthropic income.

Support the Head of Philanthropy in developing high-quality Fellowship and philanthropy collateral and communications.

Take responsibility for all elements of event management for individual donors, including creating, planning and managing events that create meaningful experiences for donors. This may include drinks receptions, small private dinners, panel events, and programme visits.
Fundraising, Line Management, Finance and Reporting

Effectively line manage and coach the Philanthropy Assistant, supporting their development as a fundraiser.

Work with colleagues to deliver impactful events to cultivate prospects and steward partners, with a focus on experience for individual supporters and prospects.

Act as an ambassador for the Trust with external audiences, delivering presentations and providing expertise as required.

Work with colleagues across Development and Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, income tracking, donor record keeping, and reporting for philanthropic income.

Working closely with colleagues, provide philanthropy fundraising expertise to increase awareness of viable funding opportunities and develop organisational understanding of best practice when working with individual supporters.

Ensure you and your line report appropriately follow policies and procedures on due diligence, Salesforce and data management, account management, stewardship, and reporting.

Stay up to date with philanthropy fundraising best practice, embedding it across the Philanthropy team’s work, and keep abreast of developments and opportunities within the wider fundraising space.

Person Specification
We welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:

Experience building and managing donor relationships with individuals giving four-figures and above per annum in a philanthropy team or other fundraising capacity, and through structured giving schemes.

Experience of all elements of the cultivation cycle, including prospect research via multiple sources, to develop a prospect pool of individual supporters.

Experience of working with key senior colleagues across an organisation to secure major gifts and steward relationships, including making the ask for five-figure gifts.

Experience of managing meaningful donor events and experiences, from concept to delivery.

First-class interpersonal skills - a natural ambassador able to represent the Sutton Trust with gravitas and confidence in a range of settings.

Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to write persuasive and engaging funding collateral, and to network with Sutton Trust stakeholders and donors to inspire and encourage giving.

Experience of building or inputting into donor strategy and planning.

Stephen’s Children UK is a Christian charity dedicated to providing financial support to the existing and well developed Stephen’s Children ministries in Egypt’s garbage slums outside of Cairo.
These programs are staffed by over 1,500 dedicated and compassionate individuals ready to make a difference. Role Overview:
As a Charity Fundraiser with Social Media and Digital Marketing experience, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness and funds for our cause. You will leverage your expertise in fundraising, social media strategy, and digital marketing to develop and execute innovative campaigns that inspire individuals and organisations to engage and contribute. Key Responsibilities:
Although mostly working autonomously, you will be working with, and representing SCUK on the international Marketing and Communications Advisory Group to ensure a cohesive approach (the Communications and fund raising teams from the various Stephen’s Children entities in other nations):
- Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with the charity’s mission and goals.
- Manage and grow fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media, email, and digital channels, as well as occasionally organising and attending fund raising events.
- Identify and engage potential donors, sponsors, and corporate CSR partners to grow the charity’s financial support base.
- Organize and manage online and occasional in person fundraising events, appeals, and virtual initiatives.
- Social Media & Digital Marketing:

- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid ads, and influencer collaborations.

- Donor Relationship Management:

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in fundraising, particularly within the charity sector or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and grow online communities and donor bases.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, with a focus on social media and online campaigns.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for different digital platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively communicate when speaking in person to supporters and potential supporters, including Trust and Corporate grant applications.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box to drive engagement and fundraising results.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and digital advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with fundraising platforms (e.g., JustGiving, GoFundMe, Virgin Giving etc) and donor management tools (e.g. Raiser’s Edge etc.)

- Availability to visit the work in Cairo at least once per year (funded by the Charity).

About the role
Reporting to the Programme Lead - Living Well with Psychosis, you'll oversee a portfolio of 21 diverse community organisations providing support to people affected by psychosis, with a particular focus on racially minoritised communities.
You'll lead on relationship-based grant management, ensure excellent stewardship of funding, and work closely with an externally commissioned Learning and Support Partner to gather and share learning across the Charity and with external partners. You'll also support grant relationship management for some funding awarded to South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and King's College London.
This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys working closely with partners, understands the realities facing small community organisations, and is motivated by equity, lived experience and system-wide change.
