About the Role

Working closely with the Development Manager and the Development Director, you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with the schools’ communities, supporting fundraising initiatives and delivering engaging communications and events that foster lifelong connections with the Trust and its schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships across school communities and alumni networks, bringing people together and inspiring them to support the Trust’s vision
• Lead creative fundraising and engagement initiatives, from community campaigns to reunions and events, helping to drive a vibrant culture of giving

The role and responsibilities

As New Business Lead for UK schools, you will play a pivotal role in growing our school partner base which will enable us to support even more young people with making informed decisions about their next steps.

You will need to be target-driven and proactive. While you will be fully supported by the UK schools team, you will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects. 

Your key responsibilities:

• Strategic Outreach: Design tailored campaigns to engage Headteachers, Careers Leads and Trust Executives in a smart and compelling way.

• Lead Generation: Communicate with non-partner schools and colleges to explain how Unifrog supports student outcomes and Gatsby Benchmark and PSHE compliance, and secure online demonstrations for our Area Managers.

• Inbound Lead Management: Act as the first port of call for all new partnership enquiries from individual schools, colleges and Multi-Academy Trusts.

• Collaboration: Work closely with our UK schools team to understand regional challenges and identify how your outreach can best support the growth of their specific territories. 

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate custom reports on our CRM database to identify opportunities for growth, cleanse Mutli-Academy Trust accounts, and analyse campaign performance.

• Market Intelligence: Develop an in-depth understanding of the UK ed-tech landscape and the evolving statutory requirements for careers guidance in schools.
   

Working together

You’ll be working with the UK schools team, and line managed by the Head of UK Sales. You’ll work closely with our Area Managers, and also have the opportunity to work with other teams across the company, including UK Primary Schools, Marketing, Employers and HE.

An exciting role has arisen to join Westway Trust as a Teacher working part-time at an after-school club on a Traveller site in North Kensington. You will be an energetic and enthusiastic qualified teacher with experience of working with children from Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in raising the children’s attainment and achievement at school, and will be committed to enhancing the lives of children in the local Traveller community.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• To contribute to the raising of attainment and achievement of children from the Traveller community. With particular focus on reading, writing & spelling.
• To provide out of hours teaching at the mini-club across the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, up to age 8.
• Help children access learning activities through a range of support strategies including ICT.

• Experience working with children and their families from the Traveller community is desirable but not essential.
• Experience of working in partnership with schools, other support services and statutory agencies.

We are seeking a male flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Sessional Worker to support the delivery of services for Young Carers aged 5-16. Due to an increase in trips and off-site activities, and to ensure we provide appropriate support for all young people- particularly our male Young Carers - we are particularly seeking a male sessional worker to join the team. The role involves two key parts. The first is helping to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is supporting with outreach to local schools, colleges, community settings and professionals to identify and engage Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups- 5-11 and 12–16 - delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. You will deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls and aim to identify and engage Young Carers in the community. You will also help ensure young Carers feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. We are particularly looking for a male sessional worker who is available for our upcoming residential trip to the Young Carers Festival on the 26th – 28th June and a day trip to Southend-On-Sea on the 6th June.  This is a sessional role, therefore hours are not guaranteed but will be offered based on project need.

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a charity and membership society for those working or interested in tropical medicine and global health. We currently have around 2,000 members and Fellows from more than 100 countries, with a network of more than 10,000 involved with our work in some way.

RSTMH currently publishes two peer-reviewed scientific journals, Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (TRSTMH) and International Health. TRSTMH was launched in 1908, is published monthly, and is a hybrid journal. International Health was launched in 2009, is published bi-monthly, and is Open Access. In September 2025, we announced the development of a new journal looking at the use of Artificial Intelligence in Global Health, which will be launching around May 2026. All three journals are published by Oxford University Press (OUP) and are supported by a global team of dedicated Editorial Boad members.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with relevant publishing experience to support the operation of our three academic journals. The role will involve providing administrative and editorial support to the Managing Editor, liaising with our authors, reviewers, external editors, and publishing partner, contributing to and - where appropriate - leading on journal development initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams within the RSTMH.

The role

• Check new submissions to ensure that they are in scope and formatted as per journal guidelines, before assigning to handling editors.
• Check revised submissions are formatted as per journal guidelines, before assigning to handling editors
• Check and export accepted manuscripts to production team at OUP, working with the Editors in Chief (EiC) to ensure all required information is included.
• Monitor manuscripts in process, working with editors, reviewers, authors and Managing Editor to identify and reduce unnecessary delays for authors.
• Be the first point of contact for authors, editors, and reviewers by monitoring the journals inbox, helping to resolve any disputes that arise within the peer review process or escalating to Managing Editor, as necessary within agreed timings.
• Help manage the relationships with RSTMH Editorial Boards through regular communication (e.g., Newsletters) in addition to reminders/assignment emails sent through the submission system.
• Assist the Managing Editor with administrative tasks for the journals including coordinating meetings Editorial Boards, publisher, etc., setting up webinars, taking minutes of key meetings.
• Oversee reporting on all aspects of manuscript processing and handling editor metrics (turnaround times, acceptance rates, etc.,) and share these with a number of stakeholders
• Work with Editorial Board to identify articles with wider interest and highlight them to Managing Editor, EiCs, RSTMH team and publisher, and consider ways of further promoting them to raise the profile of the journals and RSTMH.
• Utilise social media and other digital publishing technologies (X, LinkedIn, blogs, podcasts, etc) to promote published articles/new issues and raise the profile of the journals.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an academic publishing role, in a learned society, membership organisation, or publisher.
• Knowledge of major publishing trends, academic conventions, and editorial processes.
• At least 2 years’ experience of using a journal management system such as Editorial Manager, ScholarOne, etc, as well as MS office products.

Prostate Progress is Prostate Cancer Research’s flagship digital data programme, supporting prostate cancer research, service improvement, and clinical trial recruitment using patient-reported outcomes and NHS clinical data.

This role will provide senior-level project management and delivery coordination across the Prostate Progress programme. The postholder will be responsible for organising, tracking, and supporting delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring strong governance, clear documentation, and effective coordination between internal teams and external partners.
