Education Development Officer (part-time, Monday–Wednesday)

Hours: 21 hours per week (Monday–Wednesday). This role is offered as part of a job share, with the postholder working alongside an existing Education Development Officer who works 2 days per week.

About You

Do you have a proven track record of operationally managing the end-to-end delivery of education and training programmes from conception to execution and evaluation? If so, we’d love to hear from you?

You must be a motivated and proactive individual who is able to work with a range of stakeholders to deliver our organisation's PLD portfolio and growth initiatives. The role requires an individual with the drive to create, deliver and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of programmes that support the continuous professional development of healthcare professionals working in sexual and reproductive healthcare.

This post is part of a job share arrangement. You will work closely with the other Education Development Officer to ensure continuity, handover and shared ownership of the PLD portfolio. This will require strong communication, collaboration and planning to ensure seamless delivery across the week.

The Role

As the Education Development Officer (EDO), you’ll work closely with CoSRH staff, clinical subject matter experts, organisational partners and suppliers to help develop, design, build and maintain the delivery of high-quality education and training programmes and resources. Working as part of a small, dynamic team you will enjoy the pace of a varied portfolio of activities as well as offering excellent member and learner services.

• Deliver education programmes smoothly and consistently, with excellent learner experience
• Build trusted relationships with clinical and internal stakeholders

You’ll….

• Work with a range of stakeholders to develop and maintain innovative learning programmes that include quality, relevant content that enhance CoSRH visibility and stakeholder engagement.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with a variety of suppliers including internal service suppliers (such as members support, marketing, business development, finance) as well as clinical and educational subject matter experts.
• Support the best user experiences for learners, candidates and trainers. This will include dealing with enquiries, the processing of application and member support tickets.
• Work with digital learning technologies, including database, learning management systems, mentoring platforms.
• Use data and other information to measure and report on performance to determine educational impact, stakeholder satisfaction and return on investment.

You will have:

• A degree level qualification or equivalent experience. 
• Experience within a busy professional learning and development function for a minimum of 3 years.
• A strong operational management approach with the ability to coordinate multiple complex programmes simultaneously.
• Experience in developing learning that is delivered in-person and through a variety of digital systems.
• The ability to work independently in a pressurised environment to successfully manage a busy workload as well as being a proactive, considerate team member.
• The ability to assimilate information effectively and to offer creativity and problem solving to mitigate risks and issues.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders with the ability to confidently report on their portfolio.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular knowledge of Office 365

This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands the realities facing young people in inner-city communities, and who is ready to lead a team that meets them where they are — every evening, every session, every conversation that counts.

Fight for Peace has spent over two decades using boxing and martial arts as a gateway to something bigger, education, employability, personal development, and a real shot at a different future for young people aged 7–25 in East London. As our Youth Work Manager, you'll be the person responsible for making sure the youth work at the heart of our Academy is outstanding.

You'll lead our youth workers, shape our programmes, and act as our primary safeguarding lead within primary interventions. This isn't a hands-off management role, you will be present in the Academy at least four evenings a week, visible to young people and staff alike, and actively involved in the delivery of life-changing work.

What you'll own:

You'll take the lead on designing, developing, and quality-assuring our youth work offer, including programmes like Man Talk and Lutadoras, our gender-specific personal development groups, as well as youth leadership initiatives and open-access evening services. Working alongside our Sports Manager and MEL team, you'll ensure every programme has a clear theory of change, measurable outcomes, and personal development woven into its core.

Safeguarding sits at the very centre of this role. You'll be the named lead for safeguarding across primary interventions, responsible not just for managing individual concerns, but for building a culture where every member of staff is vigilant, confident, and fully trained. You'll know your way around Working Together to Safeguard Children, contextual safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice, and you'll bring that knowledge to life in how the team works every day.

You'll also manage a team of youth workers, recruiting, developing, and holding them to high standards through regular one-to-ones, team meetings, and a genuine investment in their growth. Many of our youth workers are young people themselves who have come through our programmes, and supporting their professional development is a privilege that comes with this role.

What we're looking for:

You'll have a strong track record in youth work, ideally in an inner-city or community setting where the issues of violence, exploitation, and social inequality are not abstract concepts but lived realities for the young people you work with. You'll hold a recognised youth work qualification at Level 3 or above, and have experience acting as a designated safeguarding lead or equivalent.

Brief role description:

At parkrun, we’re working to transform our tech stack to make it fit for the future. The Junior Software Engineer will be a key team member, supporting this transformation.

The Junior Software Engineer will work on a wide range of systems and technologies, including C#, PHP, JavaScript, AWS, Azure. Working independently and collaboratively, you will help to build and maintain our websites, apps and backend systems.

About the Role

Headway East London is looking for a compassionate and motivated Community Support Worker to support adults living with brain injury across our 13 London borough catchment area. You will support members in their own homes and local communities. This is a varied, people-focused role where you will work one to one in the community, helping individuals live with greater independence, confidence and choice.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct support sessions to a regular caseload of members in the community as a lone worker with remote office assistance.
2. You will work to maximise and maintain their autonomy and independence in their home environment or within the local community.
3. You will work collaboratively with the member to plan, organise and implement daily activities by developing daily and weekly structure and wellbeing plans.
4. You will be responsible for being the first responder, with remote manager support, in the event of any incidents, safeguarding issues or behaviour that challenges during support sessions.
5. Accompany and support members to appointments with health and statutory care providers and provide accurate notes for future reference.
6. Accompany and support members to access social, leisure, educational and vocational activities in the community.
7. Maintain a maximum income for members through completing benefit and grant entitlement and assist with financial budgeting.
8. Provide appropriate and relevant advice, information and advocacy to members and their families. Where appropriate liaise with other professionals and statutory and non-statutory organisations to make referrals or signpost to appropriate support services.
9. Maintain accurate and factual monitoring notes on our online database and report any incidents.
10. Conduct and monitor specific therapy / support / rehabilitation and risk management plans in accordance with case managers, therapists and other cprofessionals as required.

About the Role

A key leader within the ambitious and forward-thinking Fundraising & Communications Team at The Connection at St Martin’s, the Head of Supporter Involvement plays a central role in inspiring, growing and stewarding our community of supporters.

Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising and Communications, you will develop and deliver innovative Individual Giving and community engagement campaigns across digital and offline channels, with a strong focus on stewardship - ensuring every supporter feels valued, informed, and motivated to continue their journey with us. You will also lead on our work with the Friends of The Connection, our sister charity and membership community, to strengthen supporter engagement and loyalty.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in Individual Giving, ideally with digital expertise, and a passion for creating outstanding supporter experiences.
